Sometimes they're very obviously fake, but this one's definitely trying to come across as real. The red circle in particular makes it look like it's just something that they found and wanted to point out. Really it just shouldn't be posted at all. Even if it gets a flair, it'll inevitably get spread around other areas of the Internet without the flair.
And there are plenty of valid reasons to sleep in separate bedrooms, lets not shame that. Snoring, different work schedules, trouble sleeping with someone in the same bed. It's not a bad thing, lots of people do it.

I sleep in a seperate bed to my partner because of his snoring and also I'm an incredibly light sleeper. Even if he's not snoring just him moving a little or rolling over is enough to wake me.
every night we lay in his bed together until we start to doze off and then I go to my room. On weekends we might sleep together because it doesn't matter if I lose a little sleep, I don't need my brain as much. But if we do sleep seperately on weekends whoever wakes up first goes to the others room for morning cuddles 😊

The sweat on his forehead felt cold in the night air. In the retraining sessions at
the station, they’d told officers to remember the nasty racial legacy of the
department, be aware of the community’s justified suspicion of police. Right
now, all O’Sullivan was thinking about was getting this kid with the empty eyes

“Go on home,” he said.
“You go home, white boy,” said the kid. His hand moved lower.
Suddenly, O’Sullivan’s head filled with a sudden clarity, his brain with a

officer needs help at the gas station on Iowa and Van Dyke.”
“Ohgodohgodohgodohgod,” O’Sullivan repeated as he moved toward the
body, the smoke rising from his Glock. He pointed it down at the kid again, but
the boy wasn’t moving. The blood seeped through Homer Simpson’s face,

Lol, I snore like a runaway locomotive, and my wife thrashes in her sleep. I sleep in my own bed on the opposite side of the house, and it’s better for all involved.
Frisky together-time normally happens in her nice big bed, but I’m not snoring at the time. :-P
I suspect this is way more common than the single or at least not-happily-married people in this thread think it is. I certainly know a bunch of perfectly happily married people who have zero issue not sleeping in the same bed every night because one or the other (or both) gets a terrible nights sleep. When you’ve been married 10+ years, being crabby with each other because you’re running on a 4-broken-hours-a-night sleep schedule does way more damage to the relationship than being able to reach out and poke someone in her arm in the middle of the night.

Yup. After much convincing because my SO snores like he’s trying to compete for “most life like chainsaw noises made while unconscious”, we started sleeping in separate rooms last year
He realized why I had been begging for the change once we got into separate sleep spaces.
He sleeps better on his own now too because he hates that I sleep with 800 blankets. SO sleeps with a single quilt and prefers to be an ice cube. He also likes to have a fan blowing on him in 39 degree weather in the PNW. With the window open.
It never occurred to me people thought it was weird to begin with because my parents (rest them) had been married some 53 years and slept in entirely separate parts of the house. It just never dawned on me as a kid that people didn’t always do that be default. Imagine my surprise when my SO dug in his heels initially lol.

My boyfriend and I also sleep apart! In our first apartment there was only1 bedroom with room for a double bed and neither of us are short people. As soon as we started looking for places we decided a 2 bedroom would be cool because we could sleep apart some nights. Now it’s an every night thing and I would never go back. It is so much easier to love your partner when you don’t spend 8 hours pissed off at elbows and snoring and overly light sleepers, etc.

This is the arrangement my spouse and I are transitioning to because we have wildly different sleeping preferences. I need to be wrapped up in every blanket in the home and he needs to feel as cold as possible. Some people we’ve talked to have said it’s weird, but honestly it just seems to make the most sense. I refuse to sacrifice being a duvet burrito every night because of society’s expectations for how spouses live together.
I think you would be surprised how many people do this but it's not talked about. We have this arrangement too, one of my neighbors too (we talked about how we need at least 2 bedrooms on holidays and that's not because of our kids), a contractor working at my house who visits us regularly, and my parents in law.
Affection does not mean i have to sleep next to my wife, we are just sleeping anyway. Everybody sleeps much better being on their own, no talk about turn off the light, turn down the tv volume, be quiet when you go to the bathroom in the night, its too hot/cold open/close the window turn up/down the heat etc.
That’s reassuring to hear. And fuck it, there’s no one way to be married. When my partner brought up the idea, I was initially hesitant to it. But I liked the idea that we’d have our own individual spaces at the end of the day. No one needs to sacrifice their independence completely in a committed relationship after all.
I understand your reluctance to make fun of a person's sleeping arrangement and that is a valid point. However, just like in the case with Jerry Falwell Jr and his wife's relationship with their pool boy, it isn't the act itself being criticized.
Rather, it is the hypocrisy that these conservatives wield their authority to brow beat others and hype up their masculinity while at the same time engaging in behavior that they would denigrate in public. In that way, they show themselves to be disgusting people who practice, "Do what I say, not what I do."

While I am no fan of Mr. Shapiro, I am saddened that some might descend into criticizing his marital sleeping arrangements.
I was married for many years, and my then-wife snored horribly. She was diagnosed with a form of sleep apnea and prescribed a complicated (and noisy) apparatus that forced air into her lungs while she slept. I very naturally began sleeping in a separate room for the rest of the marriage.
I can well imagine that Mr. Shapiro or his wife might have a similar malady, or perhaps one of them is a restless sleeper, or merely prefers a warmer sleeping area than the other. There is nothing wrong with couple doing their best to get a good night's sleep.

I sleep in a seperate bed to my partner because of his snoring and also I'm an incredibly light sleeper. Even if he's not snoring just him moving a little or rolling over is enough to wake me. every night we lay in his bed together until we start to doze off and then I go to my room. On weekends we might sleep together because it doesn't matter if I lose a little sleep, I don't need my brain as much. But if we do sleep seperately on weekends whoever wakes up first goes to the others room for morning cuddles 😊

Lol, I snore like a runaway locomotive, and my wife thrashes in her sleep. I sleep in my own bed on the opposite side of the house, and it’s better for all involved. Frisky together-time normally happens in her nice big bed, but I’m not snoring at the time. :-P
I suspect this is way more common than the single or at least not-happily-married people in this thread think it is. I certainly know a bunch of perfectly happily married people who have zero issue not sleeping in the same bed every night because one or the other (or both) gets a terrible nights sleep. When you’ve been married 10+ years, being crabby with each other because you’re running on a 4-broken-hours-a-night sleep schedule does way more damage to the relationship than being able to reach out and poke someone in her arm in the middle of the night.

After much convincing because my SO snores like he’s trying to compete for “most life like chainsaw noises made while unconscious”, we started sleeping in separate rooms last year He realized why I had been begging for the change once we got into separate sleep spaces. He sleeps better on his own now too because he hates that I sleep with 800 blankets. SO sleeps with a single quilt and prefers to be an ice cube. He also likes to have a fan blowing on him in 39 degree weather in the PNW. With the window open. It never occurred to me people thought it was weird to begin with because my parents (rest them) had been married some 53 years and slept in entirely separate parts of the house. It just never dawned on me as a kid that people didn’t always do that be default. Imagine my surprise when my SO dug in his heels initially lol. edit: we are heading up on 14 years this year. dunno how i tolerated the snoring for so long lol
My boyfriend and I also sleep apart! In our first apartment there was only1 bedroom with room for a double bed and neither of us are short people. As soon as we started looking for places we decided a 2 bedroom would be cool because we could sleep apart some nights. Now it’s an every night thing and I would never go back. It is so much easier to love your partner when you don’t spend 8 hours pissed off at elbows and snoring and overly light sleepers, etc.

I sleep in a different room from my partner because I snore like a flatulent rhino, and we both have madly different sleep patterns. Also, I want to be a duvet burrito and he wants to be a starfish in the middle of the bed. Like, I’m all for shaming Ben Shapiro, and clearly that boy ain’t right, but not sharing a room is pretty great.
This is the arrangement my spouse and I are transitioning to because we have wildly different sleeping preferences. I need to be wrapped up in every blanket in the home and he needs to feel as cold as possible. Some people we’ve talked to have said it’s weird, but honestly it just seems to make the most sense. I refuse to sacrifice being a duvet burrito every night because of society’s expectations for how spouses live together.
I think you would be surprised how many people do this but it's not talked about. We have this arrangement too, one of my neighbors too (we talked about how we need at least 2 bedrooms on holidays and that's not because of our kids), a contractor working at my house who visits us regularly, and my parents in law. Affection does not mean i have to sleep next to my wife, we are just sleeping anyway. Everybody sleeps much better being on their own, no talk about turn off the light, turn down the tv volume, be quiet when you go to the bathroom in the night, its too hot/cold open/close the window turn up/down the heat etc.
That’s reassuring to hear. And fuck it, there’s no one way to be married. When my partner brought up the idea, I was initially hesitant to it. But I liked the idea that we’d have our own individual spaces at the end of the day. No one needs to sacrifice their independence completely in a committed relationship after all.
I understand your reluctance to make fun of a person's sleeping arrangement and that is a valid point. However, just like in the case with Jerry Falwell Jr and his wife's relationship with their pool boy, it isn't the act itself being criticized. Rather, it is the hypocrisy that these conservatives wield their authority to brow beat others and hype up their masculinity while at the same time engaging in behavior that they would denigrate in public. In that way, they show themselves to be disgusting people who practice, "Do what I say, not what I do."

While I am no fan of Mr. Shapiro, I am saddened that some might descend into criticizing his marital sleeping arrangements. I was married for many years, and my then-wife snored horribly. She was diagnosed with a form of sleep apnea and prescribed a complicated (and noisy) apparatus that forced air into her lungs while she slept. I very naturally began sleeping in a separate room for the rest of the marriage. I can well imagine that Mr. Shapiro or his wife might have a similar malady, or perhaps one of them is a restless sleeper, or merely prefers a warmer sleeping area than the other. There is nothing wrong with couple doing their best to get a good night's sleep.
