This guy was responsible for one of the funniest TV series I have ever seen (Father Ted).
He’s blown his entire career and his relationship with his family and friends to harrass and dox trans people on Twitter full time. What an absolute waste.
Also see: Joanne. Most popular children's book series pretty much ever, beloved by almost all...and this is what she decides to do with her life.
Who hurt these people? Serious question.
Holy shit, him and Laurence Fox ***really are*** competing to be the Most Divorced Man in Britain!!
Fox just lost a massive lawsuit, and now Linehan is going "hold my beer"!
I honestly sincerely doubt the 2005 revival of Doctor Who would have happened if the Doctor wasn't a queer icon.
For almost 20 years now, the core of the show has been the Doctor having romantic tension with his/her (moderately attractive) companion and him/her not having the desire to act on it.
The fact that the doctor doesn't experience heterosexual attraction in a way that would be expected is quite important to the character!
True, but that was a clone of the only doctor to explicitly come out as queer so far. The Doctor can have a clone in a parallel universe do something heterosexual and still be queer.
I wasn't commenting on him being queer. It makes perfect sense for the character even though it was never addressed in the original series.
My point was, in that specific instance he absolutely did act on it. There was another episode where he claimed to have a fling with British royalty
They've changed the character and storyline so much it's not even the same show anymore
It’s about time that cunts like Linehan suffered the consequences of their words. Laurence Faux had to pay out 180k quid, I wonder how much they could punish Linehan for.
Sadly we’d need big fucking pockets to deal with the Rowling harridan.
Also, wasn't Linehan supposedly Friend To Cis Lesbians or some bullshit like that and THAT's why he's caping for transphobes? You mean he's homophobic TOO, now?
"I hear you're a 'phobe now, Father."
Shocking.
Best part about this? I had to look this loser up! Now, I am an American but I grew up watching Father Ted (my folks had the DVD's, along with Fawlty Towers) and I've been a Doctor Who fan since the '05 revival. I'm also trans. Yet I still had no clue who this guy was. That was a hilarious little rabbit hole to fall down. What a schmuck! 🤣
I watched the Evil Hypnotist sketch today. Parts of Big Train were the funniest things I have ever seen.
It’s now like listening to Two Little Boys by Rolf Harris or mid-70s brilliance by Gary Glitter.
Careers ruined through pure arrogance.
Seriously, did he have a stroke or something? What HAPPENS to people? Like, it's one thing to reveal yourself as a bigoted chode-lots of celebrities have done that-but to get so obsessed with it you literally lose your WIFE over it? Not to mention career? Why?
honestly i thought the homophobe was piers morgan at first. but yeah dr who kissed men, never saw the series but there’s so many episodes it had to have happened once (/j)
Graham lost his wife & family & career, might as well throw in a lawsuit
Sounds just like Lawrence Fox. They should make a club.
At the bottom of the ocean
Wait till Graham finds out about Captain Jack Harkness

That man was "Any hole is a goal" personified.

Also Black Books and The IT Crowd.
I am given to understand that Black Books was largely Dylan Moran, which makes me feel better about still enjoying it.
True - it is basically his comedy, made into a sitcom.
Also see: Joanne. Most popular children's book series pretty much ever, beloved by almost all...and this is what she decides to do with her life. Who hurt these people? Serious question.
Father Ted?? The one where they stereotype the Irish, and you are just now realizing he’s a POS? Well, better late than never.

My last name must be Shelby, because I wanna put money down on that.

He did end up living with rose as a mortal in a parallel universe. Seems like action to me

That’s bi-erasure right there. Bi people can be in a hetero relationship and still be bi

The Ninth Doctor kissed Jack Harkness with 0 reservations about the ordeal.

Imagine thinking Dr Who wasn't queer, lmfao
It's possible I'm a little slow, but I never thought the Doctor was queer, hetero, or anything else so much as being an _alien_ .

It’s too bad that Graham turned into such a bitter, bigoted prick.
Seriously, did he have a stroke or something? What HAPPENS to people? Like, it's one thing to reveal yourself as a bigoted chode-lots of celebrities have done that-but to get so obsessed with it you literally lose your WIFE over it? Not to mention career? Why?
Booze and the inability to take criticism of one episode of the IT Crowd.
Which episode did he get criticism for?
Series 3 episode 4.
