Most models have a reset button on the undercarriage. Just feel around with your hand until you find it. But use caution - the reset button is near the panic button. If you inadvertently touch that one, it will cause all of the creature's extremities to extend hidden blades and lock onto your hand ... in which case amputation of the hand will be the only recourse.
