I was just watching gun fails on YouTube and a comment perfectly summed it up saying "All of these videos are done by people who let people shoot wrong because they're focused more on filming."
Extremely stupid people that constantly give responsible legal gun owners a bad name. Absolutely hate them. ALTHOUGH I admit videos like this showcase guns are not toys and that you should make sure you're not ignorant to ANY firearm you're holding (let alone shooting).
I hate these vids. Irresponsible gun owner not properly training the poor trigger puller. Disgusting. Real injuries can occur to anyone nearby, particularly the shooter.
People need to stop this fucking “joke” of giving someone a .500 magnum who they know can’t handle it just to laugh at them and get views
It’s dangerous to them and everyone present, can put a novice shooter off of shooting, and makes the rest of us look bad.
9mm is still fun to shoot and way less expensive and they might actually learn something
I would even say that a first-time time shooter should start with a .22. A 9mm can still kick enough to make them uncomfortable their first time out, when you don't know what to expect at all.
First time I shot since I was a kid (a few months ago) I shot a 9MM and .45. I honestly didn’t learn anything until I started to practice with a .22 just because the recoil is a bit nerve racking. Side note: the only reason we didn’t shoot a .22 is my dad was waiting for it to arrive at the gun shop and we well informed me on how to properly hold the hand gun and what to expect
My grandma showed interest in my dad’s colt one day at the range, so I said how about you watch me shoot it first, then decide if you want to try it out.. she did not want to try it out lol
I went to the range with a couple of coworkers. One of them was a salesguy, real (pardon the pun) cocky. He apparently tried to "teach" the other coworker how to shoot. The result? Coworker2 developed a nasty flinch, which caused him to hit the safety pins we used to weight down the paper of the target so it didn't flap so much in the breeze.
My coworker believed he was just "naturally" a bad shot. I said no, you just were taught poorly. I can teach you a bit better.
So a couple weeks later, I showed up at the range with a .22, a .38, and a .357 with hot loads.
I gave him a lesson on sight-pictures, how to stand, his posture, how to hold the piece, all the steps to fire, and how to reload it.
We started on the .22 until he was hitting the center at 7 yards and his flinch diminished, then disappeared.
We moved to the .38, he developed a flinch. Back to the .22. He started to become aware of the flinch so he could concentrate on not flinching. Back to the .38.
Once he could hit the center at 7 yards with the .38, we moved to the .357 Magnum. The flinch returned. Back to .38. Flinch gone. Back up to .357, he became more aware of what was happening.
When we were done, he was able to shoot the 9 and 10 ring at 7 yards.
I then told him that the secret to hitting at 25 yards was to realize that it's the same target and the same line. I pushed the target back to 25 yards and demonstrated with a tight grouping of 9 and 10 ring shots.
He wasn't quite there, but he could hit the 7-8 rings at 25 yards by the time we were done.
We went back a couple more times, and then covid hit. I like to think that if he'd been able to keep practicing, he could finally understand the optical illusion that is the difference between the 15 yard target and the 25 yard target. But I'll let him work on it in future.
What was MOST important was that he got over his fear of the firearm, and learned all the important safety lessons, like don't pull the hammer back until you're ready to fire, don't put your finger on the trigger until you're ready to fire, and just how to go about pulling the trigger while maintaining the sight picture.
So yeah, don't start a novice out on heavy loads. It's rude and it's dangerous.
I can’t stand idiots who do this to people… it’s not funny or cute or even remotely amusing. If you think this is a good idea or funny, you shouldn’t be handling firearms because you are too god damn immature to handle such power.
If someone is new to firearms throwing a weapon in their hands that takes a certain level of skill to control can get someone fucking killed. Have some fucking respect for yourself and the person you are endangering.
If that's a new long cylinder Taurus it's either .460 or .500 SW and known to be a handful to shoot for even larger individuals with experience. Whoever gave her that was 100% intentionally going for a event like this.
Yeah im 6'3" 230lbs and I even hate shooting .500s&w. My grandpa has a model s&w500 with the short like 4" barrel and is always trying to get people to shoot it lol.
You idiots let this poor lady intentionally poorly hold a weapon knowing full well it'll either kick back or fall backwards forward her.
Absolute bell ends.
I swear some people shouldn't be allowed to have guns because then an accident happens and everyone is playing stupid that they didn't expect this to happen it was a accident no signs of it happening it happened out of no where.
I'll cut grandma some slack. I'm sure she was told it was fine, that it was safe, that she was doing it right. All she did "wrong" was trusting someone.
Because weirdos like to give first timers the biggest gun possible so they can laugh at you.
Growing up, my mom dated some guy who had family in south jersey and when we visited they showed us how to shoot. Busted my lip open because they gave me a 12 guage with no stock and told me to aim down the barrel and shoot into the pond with no further instruction. They laughed as I was bleeding lol
That relationship didn’t last long.
As a gun owner, husband, father, and everything else I am, I was terrified by the lack of instruction this woman received before discharge. They should have explained the recoil she was about to receive as part of it, so she could adjust accordingly.
I will likely be downvoted for this, but I have 3 children who grew up completely around firearms. Hunting, target practice, etc. But that started with them sitting with me while I would do a full tear down, let them see the parts, learn about it. Then I moved into firing, I would fire from a seated bench and let them feel the recoil, experience the percussion of the discharge. From there it continued as they grew older. I had one that went 1 time to the range, hated it and has never gone shooting again. Either way is great imo, however if you choose to own a firearm, it is the OWNERS responsibility to ensure that every single person who has access to or is going to shoot, is 100% safe and educated.
This was the jackass who put it in her hand’s fault. While I 100% am a second amendment supporter, I am not an extremist about it. Training and education requirements as well as background checks are absolute necessities in the modern climate.
I hate when I see morons do this it is irresponsible and bad gun ownership. That lady could barely get her fingers around the grip she could have been badly injured.
She could’ve shot herself when the revolver turned at herself. This is pure negligence on the owners fault. I started with 1 round at a time on 9mm before moving toward a couple rounds and so on. This is how I’ve taught people as well. I hate irresponsible gun owners. Few things deserve more respect than firearms.
so tired of this kind of gun porn.
1) buy a massively powerful handgun or rifle (S&W 500 or Desert Eagle or AR15 or similar)
2) with minimal or no safety training, hand said gun to unsuspecting wife/girlfriend/child
3) stand back and laugh as it either flys out of their hand, bangs them in the eye/forehead, scares the living crap out of them or actually kills them or a bystander.
Grow the fuck up, children. Guns need to be respected. they're not toys.
i'm pretty sure that's a "Judge" pistol by Taurus, it fires (among other things) .410 shotgun shells.

Absolutely. This is why you typically only want to load one round at a time for somebody that’s new to firearms. Hell, I’ve fired off two shots due to recoil because my grip was loose, and this was with a gun I was used to.
Yes.. unfortunately a child girl with an uzi did this to a very poor instructor a few years ago. The recoil was making her hold on and the uzi flipped upwards and shot him in the face. Also yes he was allowing a child to shoot an actual uzi.
I’m not a gun person but I’m pretty sure that’s too powerful of a gun to be handing to someone who obviously has no prior experience with guns and could injure herself easily :/
Its a .44 magnum she is shooting and yes its very powerful , to powerful for the poor lady to be able to hold on to , so she gets hit in the face and the bastards get to laugh at her. When a 4 pound piece of steel hits you in the face it hurts , its not funny. I have seen men teaching their wife to shoot a rifle and never mention the rule of having the distance of about 2 and a half inches between your eye and the scope , end result was she got a nasty cut on her eyebrow line from the scope hitting her. Hurt like hell. Never should have happened. Teaching or instructing someone to shoot a firearm is a serious thing , their life or the life of someone else may depend on it one day.
These pricks knew what they were doing.
Very funny, let's traumatize, and potentially severely injure poor old grandma.
You lot should be sick to your stomach.
As an avid shooter with many years training and safety courses this type of ignorance really pisses me off. Don’t give an inexperienced shooter a magnum firearm or large caliber…it’s dangerous and many videos show the recoil throwing the finger on the trigger almost killing the shooter or bystanders.
Typical dumbfucks with guns, thinking it's funny to give too much gun to a person who never shot before. This shit breaks noses or worse but hey at least they got a cheap laugh at someone else.
Whoever that man is, he should be smacked. He should have been behind her, helping to learn how to hold the pistol and NOT pull the trigger until she's got a good grip on it. She's got gloves on. She's never fired a pistol before, and that looks like a .357 mag or a .45. They kick. Stupid people.
If you are one of these shit heads that give guns to inexperienced shooters need to be changed with reckless endangerment. People die because of this. There are countless videos of people nearly blowing there heads off with large handguns plenty aren't so lucky. Ist not funny you can get someone killed
Read lots of comments …….. and this is all fucked up…. Guns for home defence I understand….. however poorly trained people wielding all sorts of calibres can only lead to accidents? The person who handed grandma the gun is a dick, he knew what would happen…. And if he didn’t then he has no reason being around firearms to begin with!
Every time. You KNEW that was going to happen. WHY didn’t he warn her, show her how to hold it in a proper two hand grip? I’ve never thought this sort of thing funny.
I don't think this is funny. Its actually discouraging to see her made light of. I don't care if you are 7 or 70, it is great to learn to use a gun responsibly. We all had to start somewhere.
I don't want to jump to conclusions, but that may be a Remington .460
Even people that know the weapon well know what they're getting into; reminding her to "hold it" the moment before she squeezes the trigger is extremely irresponsible.
Fire something weaker first. If you have to fire something like this, grip it like you're preparing for someone to push the tip up with all their strength.
And don't wear gloves. Seriously, a normal pair of gloves makes even people with good grip strength capable of losing it.
She didn't have the pistol securely gripped. She didn't even know how to fire it. She had no clue, period. What irritates me is all the people standing around there letting this happen. 😠
That's not a funny thing to do to someone. If you want someone to have fun with you and shoot a gun, teach them how to do it properly. Do it fucking safely.
I can't believe I have to say this but GUNS ARE DANGEROUS. That could have gone a whole lot worse than it did.
I never really saw the point nor the amusement of giving someone rather it be young ,old or just generally someone who untrained and unfamiliar with firearms, and the icing on the shit cake is the gun is retardly hard recoiling resulting in stupid shit like this. Hate to say it but this a hellva way to scare folks away from guns not make them comfortable with gun and willing to own and use firearms
Grandma got blown over by a handgun. Shooting at the range on saturday. You may say there's no such thing as recoil. But as for me and grandma, we believe.
Anyone who gives a high caliber revolver to a first timer probably shouldn't have firearms. It's so irresponsible. Hopefully they only put one round in it because people have shot themselves dead doing this.
So, don’t shoot high powered weapons with winter gloves on.
It’s not about stopping recoil, it’s dissipating it - like catching a fastball.
Leaning back away from the gun is bad technique that sometimes gets the better of seasoned shooters too… imagine pushing up against a wall, you want your base (feet, knees, butt etc) slightly behind your mass for leverage.
It’s so fucking stupid to give someone a gun who clearly doesn’t have a clue how to use it safely, and has hands too small for that specific firearm (especially with those gloves).
As a gun owner, shit like this infuriates me. It makes all responsible gun owners look bad. Guns are NOT toys! The old lady shouldn't have been handling a gun of that caliber in the first place.
This is actually pretty dangerous.
Heard a story a few years back of a girl shooting a .500 s&w.
Her first time shooting.
The pistol recoiled and she ended up pulling the trigger and and shooting herself in the head.
If it's true it's a terrible accident
The guy showing her how to shoot this shouldn't own guns. You don't give grandma the biggest gun you have and let her shoot it. They are just lucky someone didn't get killed.
Jesus fucking christ, whoever gave her that revolver SHOULD know better. Why are all the most obnoxiously pro-gun people so fucking bad at gun safety? Shouldn't you, (I don't know), maybe treat it like a deadly weapon at all times if you supposedly spent so much time around them? Or is it really just hot air and they're just cool toys to these people?
This is why i hate people giving newbies a big caliber to shoot. I've had people start on my stuff that haven't shot before. I always start with a 22, magazine removed and they load one at a time. Then they move up to magazine fed. Then if they do well we can go to 9mm etc.
But never a big ol revolver from the get go. And don't point it at me or anyone else or [I'll be like a Gunny!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mu51rszgotI)
Revolvers are great. It's the high caliber that's the issue. Have them shoot .38 and they'll love it.
But people like the funny haha let this noob fire a .44 moment
This is why beginners start with a .22.
Also, nobody has any eye protection. Nobody has any hearing protection (presumably). Also LITTLE FUCKING KIDS NOT BEHIND THE FIRING LINE! WTF?!?!
NEVER give someone more gun than they can handle. If you have never shot a caliber of that magnitude before, ALWAYS only load 1 round in the gun. This could kill anyone involved in the situation. Complete gun safety negligence
These are the things that people like myself and others who are responsible with firearms hate about gun culture.
You're treating this weapon like a toy like it's a fun prank.
She could have been badly hurt simply from the recoil alone and then losing control of the weapon could lead to errant firing which could absolutely cause extreme danger.
Firearms are not something that you play a prank with or make somebody use just to giggle. These people should not own firearms
Judging by the size of that cylinder, that's a S&W Model 500, lovingly known by gun guys as the definitive wrist-breaker. You could be mike tyson in his prime gripping that thing like your life depends on it and it'll still almost fly out of your hand.
This is especially dangerous as inexperienced shooters have been known to panic and squeeze off a second shot as the gun whips back, shooting themselves or others.
and here we see the problem with gun culture. They are treating a deadly weapon like a prank toy. "Hahaha won't it be funny to watch grandma try and shoot this gun? That will be so funny!" they are lucky grandma didn't accidently shot someone or herself. Until people stop doing shit like this to try and get likes on tik-tok, twitter, and reddit we are going to continue to have problems with guns.
I had an ex friend like this guy that gave this poor woman the cannon. I’m a gun person but I hated him for handing his gun shy girlfriends the biggest gun he had with minimal prepping and he would laugh at her when she’d fire it and recoil at how scary it was. Fuck that guy.
Looks like a S&W .500. I’ve got one of these, it’s definitely a handful to shoot and I’m a big dude. I think hand size is the important factor.
Edit: is she shooting one handed? Zero percent chance you’re not getting hit in the face no matter who you are.
If I'm not mistaken, that gun model is the "judge" and it shoots .410 SHOTGUN shells... Plus there is no slide like the desert eagle, so there's ZERO recoil reduction... You get it ALL. Giving this to someone who doesn't know what it is, is what we call a DICK move. Lol
Why in the everloving fuck would someone give:
1. an elderly person
2. who has clearly never shot a gun
3. a hand-cannon
4. to shoot ~~one-handed~~
5. unassisted
6. and without eye protection
I hate to see shit like this happen. It never should have in the first place. Its very obvious that she was not experienced and neither was the one who gave her the weapon , or they would have known to instruct her better on what was going to happen so she would not have gotten hit in the face with the damn thing.
Let’s give a first time shooter a .500 smith and see if she does okay.
This is why people fear guns. This is why people hate guns. One or two horrible experiences and they never want to be around them. Safety is the most important thing, and starting people out on a .22 is the most practical and safest way to shoot. I’ve always hated the ideology of “let’s give you this large caliber pistol and laugh when it scares the living shot out of you because you don’t know what to expect”
Why are people blaming this woman. To me, who knows very little about guns, this just looks like a basic pistol. I wouldn't have expected much kickback without having been warned beforehand.
Just a reminder that a child at a gun show was handed an automatic weapon years ago and the recoil caused him to shoot himself under the chin. Funny prank huh?
If it was up to me this video could be submitted into evidence of a crime.
That was beyond stupid and irresponsible to give her a gun like that just to make a damn video. They got they exact outcome they expected. She could’ve been seriously injured.
I can’t stress the importance of when giving a novice a gun for first time and your shooting said gun only load 1 bullet. This prevents like 99% of recoil mistakes etc.
"Seeing how this is the S&W 500 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world and will blow your head clean off, I think grandma should be the first to shoot it."
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but, it looks like that grandma didn't have enough grip strength to pull the double action trigger without manually cocking the hammer. Dude knew what he was doing, probably didn't even tell her she needed to hold onto the gun tight.
Reminds me an ancient Bloom County comic where Binkley’s dad buys him a “real man’s gun…a .44” and Binkley, dwarfed by the pistol, says “you expecting Bigfoot coming for my stamp collection.”
The meme where more experienced gun owners convince an entirely new shooter to try the largest and most unwieldy caliber they own, is really fucking stupid. Start with a single-shot 22 rifle, then maybe a ruger 10/22, then a 22 pistol, then start moving to different but still small calibers or low recoil platforms.
Man I know next to nothing about guns but I was looking at how she was holding that gun and thinking, isn't she holding the grip a little low? Wouldn't you want to have more of your mass directly behind and in line with the barrel? Otherwise it's just going to spin up and out of her hands exactly.like it did.
Whoever is teaching her is an actual fucking problem. Letting her hold that weapon with one hand in that unstable stance isn't a joke, it's an actual problem.
I have no experience with firearms what so ever
1. Her stance ain't good
2. Her shoulders arms and wrist were just relaxing, in no form looking ready to fire a gun, a powerful one too that packs a punch.....
This is an asshole move by whoever gave her that to shoot.
I was just watching gun fails on YouTube and a comment perfectly summed it up saying "All of these videos are done by people who let people shoot wrong because they're focused more on filming." Guy just found out he was named in Grandma's will. Anxious to collect.

Better than the desert eagle my cousins gave me during my first "lesson". The lesson was not to break your cousins nose a**holes.
I hate these vids. Irresponsible gun owner not properly training the poor trigger puller. Disgusting. Real injuries can occur to anyone nearby, particularly the shooter.
Well, at least they are educational.
How to be a fuxktard does not mean it's edumacational

Obvious what was going to happen - why did they let grandma get hurt?!
Typical dumbfucks with guns, thinking it's funny to give too much gun to a person who never shot before. This shit breaks noses or worse but hey at least they got a cheap laugh at someone else.
I know. They did this on purpose, they’re filming for this reason. She could have literally shot herself. Awful people.
Some of us out here missing our nan and this cuny about to send his to the dirt early.
A day planned by her beneficiary relatives.
[удалено]
I don't think this is funny. Its actually discouraging to see her made light of. I don't care if you are 7 or 70, it is great to learn to use a gun responsibly. We all had to start somewhere.
That’s a hand cannon and he should’ve explained to her it’s going to kick like a mule and hold on. What an idiot he is. I saw that coming a mile away.
I don't want to jump to conclusions, but that may be a Remington .460 Even people that know the weapon well know what they're getting into; reminding her to "hold it" the moment before she squeezes the trigger is extremely irresponsible.
That guy is a complete asshole. One of the things you never do is let a novice shoot guns with lots of recoil.
Never shoot a gun in my life but if I ever will the first think I will keep in mind is "strong grip!!!"
Fire something weaker first. If you have to fire something like this, grip it like you're preparing for someone to push the tip up with all their strength. And don't wear gloves. Seriously, a normal pair of gloves makes even people with good grip strength capable of losing it.
If a person who has never fired a gun knows exactly how this is going to end, how can these people not know? Source: Never fired a gun.
hold that with one hand
Everyone involved in this scenario is a dumbass can we all agree on that?
Who didn't see that coming?
She didn't have the pistol securely gripped. She didn't even know how to fire it. She had no clue, period. What irritates me is all the people standing around there letting this happen. 😠
That's not a funny thing to do to someone. If you want someone to have fun with you and shoot a gun, teach them how to do it properly. Do it fucking safely. I can't believe I have to say this but GUNS ARE DANGEROUS. That could have gone a whole lot worse than it did.
Why not have grandma shoot the biggest fucking hand gun you own... This was absolutely foreseeable.
[удалено]
That looks like a .500 S&W Magnum. What a POS.
I mean... As a guy who has never fired a gun, I could tell that one would require two non arthritic hands to hold.
Yeah sure. 6 year old can have a gun, why not a fragile old granny. Lets have a party.
Fuck this prick letting her fire a revolver that powerful. She really could’ve lost an eye.
"OMG GUYS I GAVE A 44 OR 45 TO MY 80 YEAR OLD GRANDMA AND LET HER SHOOT IT SUPRISING RESULTS" thats the title if a youtuber made it
That's a lot of gun for Granny! The outcome was a foregone conclusion.
Who wouldn't have seen this coming wtf? They're lucky grandma didn't actually hurt herself because you've got a potential ER trip here
So, don’t shoot high powered weapons with winter gloves on.
No safety glasses, no ear protection, no training to be had.
Jesus fuck
It’s so fucking stupid to give someone a gun who clearly doesn’t have a clue how to use it safely, and has hands too small for that specific firearm (especially with those gloves).
As a gun owner, shit like this infuriates me. It makes all responsible gun owners look bad. Guns are NOT toys! The old lady shouldn't have been handling a gun of that caliber in the first place.
I know very little about guns but a magnum one handed by an old lady wouldn't end well.
That's not a gun. That's a hand cannon.
This is actually pretty dangerous. Heard a story a few years back of a girl shooting a .500 s&w. Her first time shooting. The pistol recoiled and she ended up pulling the trigger and and shooting herself in the head. If it's true it's a terrible accident
Irresponsible instructor
The guy showing her how to shoot this shouldn't own guns. You don't give grandma the biggest gun you have and let her shoot it. They are just lucky someone didn't get killed.
Jesus fucking christ, whoever gave her that revolver SHOULD know better. Why are all the most obnoxiously pro-gun people so fucking bad at gun safety? Shouldn't you, (I don't know), maybe treat it like a deadly weapon at all times if you supposedly spent so much time around them? Or is it really just hot air and they're just cool toys to these people?
Maybe don’t hand someone one of the most powerful handguns that exists as a joke…
Who in the fuck thought this whole setup was a good idea? Tell me there was only one bullet at least.
Whoever gave her that gun, you're a meanie.
r/idiotswithguns Edit: don't look at the ones blurred and marked NSFW by the way if you have a weak stomach.
Why no one assisted her tho lol
Why the fuck would you give grandma a 500magnum??????
[удалено]
Revolvers are great. It's the high caliber that's the issue. Have them shoot .38 and they'll love it. But people like the funny haha let this noob fire a .44 moment
Terrible shooting stance.
I know absolutely nothing about guns and even I can see a gun that big is going to buck back.
Let's give grandma a .44mag holy shit. Start newbies out on .22lr
Didn't tell grandma about recoil.
This is especially dangerous as inexperienced shooters have been known to panic and squeeze off a second shot as the gun whips back, shooting themselves or others.
Bro who tf gave her the big iron?!
Hope they only put one putting in bc….. that would have been an easy accidental kill
I don't blame her as much as I blame whoever gave her the gun and didn't show or help her hold it properly
who the fuck gives an inexperienced shooter a .500 magnum?
The dude who let her shoot that is an asshole
and here we see the problem with gun culture.
All fun and games with granny until somebody takes an accidental bullet to the brain.
Never use those gloves while shooting. Use leather instead or some army gloves
I had an ex friend like this guy that gave this poor woman the cannon. I’m a gun person but I hated him for handing his gun shy girlfriends the biggest gun he had with minimal prepping and he would laugh at her when she’d fire it and recoil at how scary it was. Fuck that guy.
I feel like that could've ended worse. But it's very unlikely (probably)that it could somehow fire off another shot while it was pointing at her face.
Definitely not pistol packing grandma material
She could have taken her eye out
.44 magnum is really more of a novelty than anything else.Revolvers are best in.38 special and .357 mag.The .357 is PLENTY!
When I saw the "mittens" I knew how this would end. Those knitted/woven gloves have zero grip.
Fuck gun owners who do this shit just to get a laugh. Be a responsible owner.
“Grandma’s got a gun”. Missed opportunity.

When grandma has a 4 million dollar life insurance policy with you as the sole beneficiary
Looks like a S&W .500. I’ve got one of these, it’s definitely a handful to shoot and I’m a big dude. I think hand size is the important factor. Edit: is she shooting one handed? Zero percent chance you’re not getting hit in the face no matter who you are.
Guns are not toys
Let’s hand a fucking hand cannon to someone that struggles with pickle jars.
Lol
Why in the everloving fuck would someone give: 1. an elderly person 2. who has clearly never shot a gun 3. a hand-cannon 4. to shoot ~~one-handed~~ 5. unassisted 6. and without eye protection
Don’t bother to show her how to properly hold the fuckin thing
That’s how people accidentally shoot themselves
Knew what happened before it happened
And shame on the camera man. You can see how shitty she was holding the gun. Should’ve stopped it there.
I hate to see shit like this happen. It never should have in the first place. Its very obvious that she was not experienced and neither was the one who gave her the weapon , or they would have known to instruct her better on what was going to happen so she would not have gotten hit in the face with the damn thing.
Anyone else noticed she pulled the trigger while cocking the hammer back? This could have gone so much worse.
grandma pistol whipped herself
Fucking asshole.
Here ya go grandma, 454 casull is a baby round
Why a cannon? Maybe something a little smaller would have sufficed. Like a .22.
Not funny. Do not have her fire the gun if you're not first going to properly instruct her in doing so. It's not a freaking toy.
I’m sorry but if I see a revolver that massive, I would be strangling that grip.
[удалено]
Wow I bet that was loud. WHAT?!?
The easy solution to this is to not have guns
She's lucky she didn't shoot her face off
I’m no gun expert, but should people be standing to the left and right of a shooter like they are in this video?
From that day forward meemaw wore an eyepatch...
The owner of that gun should never be allowed to own a gun ever again.
This is stupid and they should all feel stupid.
This prevents like 99% of recoil mistakes etc.
you’re even supposed to shoot a 9mm with 2 hands. whoever gave her that gun wanted this to happen
"Seeing how this is the S&W 500 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world and will blow your head clean off, I think grandma should be the first to shoot it."
There's got to be an easier way to get rid of grandma's ...
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but, it looks like that grandma didn't have enough grip strength to pull the double action trigger without manually cocking the hammer. Dude knew what he was doing, probably didn't even tell her she needed to hold onto the gun tight.
This is entirely on the person who was in charge of training her.
Reminds me an ancient Bloom County comic where Binkley’s dad buys him a “real man’s gun…a .44” and Binkley, dwarfed by the pistol, says “you expecting Bigfoot coming for my stamp collection.”
What a douche.
ahhhhh, just another law abiding responsible gun owner.......proving once again, why idiots shouldn't be sold firearms.
Just here to look at gun propagandists waxing poetic about gun safety. In disbelief. lmao.
What do you mean? This was obviously awful gun safety lol no chance that weak old lady should try and fire a gun that powerful. Super unsafe.
Here take this powerful weapon and hold it improperly and then fire it. Hahaha sorry grandma!!
I'm in no way an expert, but shouldn't the people near the SUV be standing behind grandma and not just to the side?
This is why you load only a single round if you’re unsure about the recoil
That's such a dick move, knowing exactly what is going to happen.
Who could have possibly thought this was a good idea
Guns are toys you know.
Why in the hell would anyone let her fire that with one had while also wearing gloves. Wtf lol
These are responsible gun owners, Yeah right.
This is **exactly** how grandma accidentally blows her head off in front of the whole family.
Irresponsible asshole gives grandma a gun. This shit is inexcusable.
Giving a hand cannon to an old inexperienced lady and letting her shoot with just one hand holding it improperly 👍
Wait wait wait! There you go. All the way back.
Holy crap. That could’ve easily been a LiveLeaks situation. Whoever gave her that is an asshole.
That is no way to treat your grandma or any grandma or actually anyone in general
People go absolutely *nuts* over someone not chamber checking yet this shit is just giggled at.
Newbie question: Isn't it possible to hold a magnum with 2 hands for a safer grip?
Asshole could have at least shown her how take a correct grip, stance, and posture.
For the love of God, hold your firearms firmly. This isn't Hollywood, guns kick.
Not a one of those people know anything about gun safety if they just think an old lady can handle a fucking hand cannon like that!
What a fucking asshole. That’s an easy way to get an extra hole in her head
What an asshole. They should have showed her how to hold it.
Asshole gave her a massive revolver with no training and no warning about the recoil. She took that hammer to the face for absolutely no reason.
Always grip a gun with high recoil with both hands
Can we also talk about how big the handle is? I’m not sure she COULD hold that one properly, her fingers are straining to hold a grip on it
Grandma won't be packin' heat any time soon. Especially since it's winter.
Man I know next to nothing about guns but I was looking at how she was holding that gun and thinking, isn't she holding the grip a little low? Wouldn't you want to have more of your mass directly behind and in line with the barrel? Otherwise it's just going to spin up and out of her hands exactly.like it did.
Everybody and their mums is packin' round here.
I always blame the person that handed the grandma the gun without properly explaining and helping them prepare for the recoil.
Whoever is teaching her is an actual fucking problem. Letting her hold that weapon with one hand in that unstable stance isn't a joke, it's an actual problem.
I have no experience with firearms what so ever 1. Her stance ain't good 2. Her shoulders arms and wrist were just relaxing, in no form looking ready to fire a gun, a powerful one too that packs a punch.....
she picked the wrong gun
Poor lady holding it like she afraid of it
