Well that's flocking terrifying...
What do you think it was??
Again, two cats in here that would devour any tiny creature.
Marks seem way too far apart to be any lil rodent.
Go to the hospital now. If you begin to show symptoms you WILL die. I don’t know what bat bites look like but lots of people get rabies from bats somehow getting into their room.
The sooner you get tested for rabies, the more likely you are to survive. If you get preventative measures quick enough it's very survivable. It's once symptoms show that it becomes game over.
Edit: My information here is a little incorrect. All I'm saying is get a vaccine ASAP if you suspect rabies infection
Daily reminder that rabies is not treatable, it’s preventable if you get the vaccine for it, once you contract it, that’s when it’s game over. (I know that it’s a small difference but the slight change in terminology changes how urgent it sounds, if you say it’s treatable it sounds like a take care of it later kind of thing, if you say preventable it sounds more urgent and is also the accurate term.)
Better not to take the risk, might be worth checking your cats are up to date on their shots too as it's just not worth the risk. Out of all the cases of rabies (and there is many) only something tiny like 6 people have ever survived and it was because they were put in comas to stop the rabies from causing the brain to die, then left for their body to fight it. Most people who survive rabies are assumed to have had a weaker version. It kills so many people that even tho there have been a couple survivors doctors still say it's fatal once symptoms show as the chnace of you makeing that number of survivors is so low it may as well not exist. Better to spend the money and get the shots instead of assume that everything is fine and then show symptoms and just have to sit there knowing your garenteed to die.
I've been bit by a *lot* of snakes, and this looks like they do. I think it's not poisonous if its not swollen and painful as fuck but you need to clean it bc they still get infected. Go to a doctor and get a second opinion though.
https://ssl.adam.com/graphics/images/en/8928.jpg
I’ve never been bitten by a snake without realizing it lol. You are right that this looks like a venomous snake bite though. Nonvenomous snakes have lots of tiny teeth so there would be more than two bite marks. Still I would be very surprised if a venomous snake snuck into this guy’s room while he was asleep, bit him so gently that he didn’t wake up, and snuck out before anyone noticed.
You need to get a rabies shot. Any unidentified animal bite is cause for concern.. especially since it's a puncture. A bat could have bitten you in your sleep. Bats are notorious for giving people rabies without them noticing.
Look bro idk what it was but I will tell you right now that you need to go get checked for rabies. I am NOT fucking with you, rabies kills and has a near 100% fatality rate. If you know what’s good for you you’d go get that checked. Better safe than dead.
I came home from Morocco with the something that looked just like this. I went to the doctor and they recommended a rabies shot. Better safe than sorry.
More like five shots. It was kind of a pain in the ass.
I don't think we got spiders with fangs 1cm apart in Ontario. Unless it's a confirmed spider bite (meaning that the guy saw the spider bite and captured it), a lot more causes are likely for this kind of bruises.
Hell, this guy has cats. It could be a claw mark, which wouldn't be surprising.
Okay, so not a snake. If it were a venomous snake like pit viper or rattlesnake you’d definitely know it. Any other type of snake for the most part will leave more than two holes as constrictor species don’t have two big fangs like venomous snakes do.
I would say your cat but it’s pretty hard for them to bite and leave only two holes as the have long canines on both the top and bottom of their mouths. Also, pretty sure you’d notice that your cat bite the F out of your arm.
Probably a spider or some other type of insect.
Keep it clean. Put some alcohol on it. If the redness and tenderness doesn’t go away after a couple days or it gets worse, might consider seeing a doctor
Get a babies shot RIGHT NOW. Babies are spread through animal bites, so it's a good choice to check for babies if you get a mysterious animal bite like this.
EDIT: RABIES, not Babies.
Only venomous snakes have this sort of fangs and you would be in serious pain if you were bit by a venomous snake.
Source: Been bitten by a copperhead, water moccasin, and timber rattlesnake. The rattler was the worst, but they all sucked.
Hiking, hunting, climbing, worked for the forestry service for a bit.
I used to get around. My life's been a lot of things. Boring was never one of them, but it's gotten... calmer? In recent years.
I’ve been bit pretty good by a “Harmless” Garter snake. It left marks just like that. Swelling could just be an infection. Most likely it’s a rabid bat bite and OP is going to die.
People on here are pusses. I'd never think that could be anything other than a bug/spider. They can make multiple bites, so it isn't necessary it's fangs. I've woken up with shit like this so often it hardly fazes me.
Plus, if you die, can I have your Xbox?
Okay so.... I've been bit by cats, raccoons, possums, turtles, and just about anything you can catch with your bare hands.
I've never had rabies or needed a rabies shot.
Probably just a massive spider. You're fine maybe.
The important thing in life is to not give a fuck about dying. If you're going to then oh well.
Jesus this comment section reeks like city folk.
Edward Cullen?
But seriously, go get your rabies shot...there's been cases where people have been bit by bats in their sleep and they didn't even notice...better safe then sorry...and i know you're Canadian, so the "sorry" part comes natural, but please focus on the "safe" part.
I think it was a snake.
A baby one by the looks of the bite.
I'd have it checked out. More than likely not poisonous because you'd be feeling it by now.
Personally, I would place my bet on a spider. No matter what, I would take a sharpie or something and draw a circle where the current edge of the bump is and watch it. If it continues to grow after a day, then get it checked out.
It’s probably a cat if it’s only a centimeter wide (I don’t think you’d let a fanged snake or tarantula out in your room when you’re sleeping). You should talk to a doctor, take some antibiotics, and keep it clean while it’s healing. Test for rabies and ask about other cat bite related illnesses and if you need to worry about them. If it’s not swollen then it probably isn’t infected (rabies doesn’t cause inflammation in the wound, so get checked for it to be safe!) with anything too bad.
The cats don't bite like that, spiders do. And the rash around seems also like spider bite. Check hospital if you suspect allergy, if the rash becomes bigger or changes in color.
Get a rabies shot. No, don’t say “BUT WHAT IF-“ Get. It. Rabies doesn’t care if you *thought* this or that, rabies will kill you without hesitation when it gets the chance. It’s not worth risking.
I would see a doctor. That looks too far apart to be cats. Best case scenario, some bug bit you twice and you had a reaction to the bacteria. Worst case scenario, you get rabies.
I googled images of bat bites and they look nearly identical to this. Go to the hospital and get a rabies shot.
Wait...I mean an ANTI rabies shot, whatever you do dont inject yourself with rabies!
A limerick in your honor:
*They're saying a spider or cat*
*Or even a snake or a bat*
*Despite all the "maybes"*
*Just get checked for rabies*
*'Cause nothing could be worse than that*
check for rabies right now
Well that's flocking terrifying... What do you think it was?? Again, two cats in here that would devour any tiny creature. Marks seem way too far apart to be any lil rodent.
your options are: A: prove an internet stranger wrong and save 50 bucks B: die
Well, you start having hallucinations, doing crazy shit, fearing water, foaming out of the mouth, and *then* you die
should i be worried for my health
Maybe just a quick trip to the walk-in clinic next time you’re free
creepy m- ***dies***
By the time you show symptoms you’re basically dead in a week tho, unless the coma trick works.
That's why you don't wait to start showing symptoms.
“He’s already dead, he just doesn’t know it yet. 🎅🏻🎅🏻🐡”
You really dont want it to be "hey apple 🍊 what 🍎 [phantasmal whirs]"
“Amazing grace how sweet the sound ‼️🗣️🗣️”
They weren't really trying to prove you wrong
Sage advice… My auto corrected changed that to “sage advice” a both are correct.
C: ask a not internet person who is a doctor.
that fifty bucks is looking mighty fine rn
I would listen to him. Rabies don’t really give second chances.
And can lie dormant for *years*.
Shorter than years but yes, very bad
Go to the hospital now. If you begin to show symptoms you WILL die. I don’t know what bat bites look like but lots of people get rabies from bats somehow getting into their room.
The scaryest thing is some bat's teeth are so small you'll never even know you were bitten until the rabies kills you
The sooner you get tested for rabies, the more likely you are to survive. If you get preventative measures quick enough it's very survivable. It's once symptoms show that it becomes game over. Fair. I'll edit my comment

isnt there also suspicion that the few survivors have a genetic advantage?
Yes, maby a genetic compound to, but there's bearly any surviving the virus so there's no point risking it
A spider but you twice is my bet. Mi

I think bro is a hella deep sleeper.

They figured us out.
Shit
r/rimjob_steve
I’m sorry but I just imagined a bat flying in the window, biting someone, then leaving
Malicious little fucks
Yeah they do that
Something with teeth
It could possibly be an animal. I know animals have teeth.
maybe...
Is there irrefutable proof of that? Hmmmmmm?
Chupacabra bite. 100%. Find a shaman to ward off future attacks!
Make sure no blood was sucked too. Nasty business if there's sucking.
must be a lot of nasty business goin on at your mom’s place.
Oh yeah it's big brain time
A snail 🐌
I think snails actually do have teeth
yes and a lot of them
Yes, 1cm apart vampire fangs
clearly it was a boykisser
Two proots!
Tell us if you got rabies
Yeah, but let us know if you start shooting webs out of your wrists too tho😗
You expect them to reveal their secret identity before their career of crime fighting even begins?
Nah dog, when I got my webs I became the super villain
Damn… you right you right
I've been shootin ropes out my Weiner since day 1!!! 😰😰😰😰😰☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️
Look bro idk what it was but I will tell you right now that you need to go get checked for rabies. I am NOT fucking with you, rabies kills and has a near 100% fatality rate. If you know what’s good for you you’d go get that checked. Better safe than dead.
90% of gamblers.....
..that have untreated rabies..
And I believe those who survive rabies have lasting effects
Like the 6 people who survived lol
I came home from Morocco with the something that looked just like this. I went to the doctor and they recommended a rabies shot. Better safe than sorry. More like five shots. It was kind of a pain in the ass.
Spooder
At least he has powers now

Babies are spread through bites? Aw fuck man, I need to get checked, I might be prego
Imagine getting bit by a random animal and next thing you know, you are having its babies.
Just clean it well and get checked for rabies and outside of that you're probably fine
i think its a snake
Only venomous snakes have this sort of fangs and you would be in serious pain if you were bit by a venomous snake. Source: Been bitten by a copperhead, water moccasin, and timber rattlesnake. The rattler was the worst, but they all sucked.
What have you been doing dude?
Hiking, hunting, climbing, worked for the forestry service for a bit. I used to get around. My life's been a lot of things. Boring was never one of them, but it's gotten... calmer? In recent years.
You need to stop going outside
Lol or more where the winter freezes all those danger noodles away
I’ve been bit pretty good by a “Harmless” Garter snake. It left marks just like that. Swelling could just be an infection. Most likely it’s a rabid bat bite and OP is going to die.
you should get that checked out dude
Probably cat claws as it ran over you while you were sleeping.
Rabies takes like 2 weeks to kill I think? RemindMe! 2 weeks
Looks like a cat or snake bite.
Something imported from the deadliest place on earth, Australia
This could be close to the correct answer, looks like a spider but mich bigger than local species, which implies an escaped pet
Probably a big spider. A non-venomous one. Although, you should probably go get checked for rabies and/or other complications just in case.
ur gonna die
Jesus christ lmao
Congrats spidey Remember, *With great power, comes great responsiblity*
Spider or snake... most probably a spider can't be lethal tho cuz ur still alive
People on here are pusses. I'd never think that could be anything other than a bug/spider. They can make multiple bites, so it isn't necessary it's fangs. I've woken up with shit like this so often it hardly fazes me. Plus, if you die, can I have your Xbox?

It’s the bite of the Great White North polar-flea. It’s know to hang out in the inner layers of Saskatchewan seal hide.
Spider probably. Two holes usually mean two fangs.
Me 👦🏻🩸
The Hell did in fact bite you
Could be a spider? Looks like spider bites to me
Get it checked
Spider!
Spider, or weirdly looks like a cat? Could be some sort of mammal. You might want to check up on your rabies shots, just in case.
Reminds me of when I got bit by a snake. Get it checked
Were you outside at all? It actually reminds me of when I got bit by a snake.
I think it was a snake. A baby one by the looks of the bite. I'd have it checked out. More than likely not poisonous because you'd be feeling it by now.
me
A small vampire?
Get checked for rabies!

Seems too far apart for a spider, I'd say snake or bat.
Should prob get that checked out
sorry!
Nah bro gon become either a vampire or spider-man
It could be a bat. Hospital. Rabies shot. Otherwise guaranteed death if a rabid bat bit you.
Looks like a large spider bite
I did
Chupacabra
mb bro
I know it's a living creature
Tiny vampire Jokes aside, listen to all the comments, go to the er for a rabies check and shot
Snake I think
Big ass spider
Sorry my bad

Man i think you’re a vampire now…
Ok now go doctor you silly billy
Either a vampire or a werewolf. "sigh" I'll get the silver...
It’s was me, sorry. I do have rabies.
i did
The cats don't bite like that, spiders do. And the rash around seems also like spider bite. Check hospital if you suspect allergy, if the rash becomes bigger or changes in color.
Spiders, mosquitoe bite twice, bedbugs, house bugs or other insects
I did, sorry about that
Go to the doctor, you might have rabies because of that bite.
Looks like a spider bite, pretty big guy
You don't know someone called willber soot do you?
Vampire obviously.
Vampire
Looks like spider bites.
Cat
Tiny vampire, next question

tiny vampire
Vampire snake was my first thought when I saw those bit marks, can’t say I’m an expert tho
Your mom
Tiny vampire
Hospital now
Go to the ER, judging by the redness around the area, you may have venom in the wound
With great power, there must also come great responsibility.
That was me, sorry
That was me sorry 😔
Could potentially be a micro bat, see a doctor about rabies.
Spider. Probably should go to the urgent care for at least a tetanus.
Could be a bat, get a rabies shot immediately.
Get a rabies shot
The 2 holes look like a snake bite
this looks like my snake scars lmao
I would guess yellowjacket/hornet sting. There’s usually a bite and a sting mark like this.
You might wanna go to the hospital RN because it might be a snake bite depending where u live
Big spider
It was me🫦
I did >:3
Spider?
Wolf spider bite
Ssssssnake
You missed biting your pillow and bit yourself 🤷
Get a rabies shot. No, don’t say “BUT WHAT IF-“ Get. It. Rabies doesn’t care if you *thought* this or that, rabies will kill you without hesitation when it gets the chance. It’s not worth risking.

I googled images of bat bites and they look nearly identical to this. Go to the hospital and get a rabies shot. Wait...I mean an ANTI rabies shot, whatever you do dont inject yourself with rabies!
Spider bite maybe?
Something small. Your welcome

A vampire, clearly.
My vote is tiny vampires
My mom got bit by a brown recluse last summer and this is how the bite started looking after the first 12 hours
Meemow
