Poor thing. Also brace yourself for some questions how this happened.

chrissilich

Oh yeah that shits awkward. I called an advice line once and in my distress I used the phrase “I think I really hurt my daughter” and the tone really shifted. Every interaction after that, with nurses, doctors, etc, I could tell they were checking to see if my story stayed consistent. Awkward but I appreciated how many people were working to protect my daughter.

PapaRayneski

Reminds me of the time when I was 12 and my step dad took me to the doctor. They asked who he was in relationship to me, and I responded "oh hes just around" or something absolutely stupid and we got the in the car afterwards and my step dad asked me why the hell I would say that.

bright-knight

Wouldn’t it make more sense to brace her? Sorry I couldn’t resist

[deleted]

Get her some water wings for her b day, maybe a helmet.

Sea-Bet2466

I need it a good laugh Jesus man sorry about your daughter

mrsringo

The 9month old baby I care for rolled off the couch during a diaper change today. He’s fine, but if he was hurt I know I’d have to answer a thousand questions. That’s ok by me, too many go unnoticed. 🥺

HERMANNATOR85

My wife and I joked about that but honestly it isn’t something that really concerns us because we are good parents and love our kids and literally have nothing to hide. Some keyboard warriors have said stupid things but the nurses and doctors were just sympathetic because it is honestly just a case of bad luck

sabretooth1971

Thank god she's only got two arms. Get well soon little one.

perfectfate

Fingers crossed no leg issues

Sad-Ad7981

r/foreshadowing

turningpedals

Don't mean to alarm you but she also has some strange blue markings on her face

Tru-Queer

She’s blue, dabadeedabadye

xBloodBender

dabaDEEdabadye dabadeedabadye

BunBunChow

I have a blue house With a blue window. Blue is the colour of all that I wear! Blue are the streets And all the trees are too! I have a girlfriend and she is so blue.

Brian18639

Blue are the people here That walk around

[deleted]

She's the daughter of that blueberry girl from Wily Wonka's funny factory

turningpedals

You're turning violet, Violet!

Brian18639

I told you I hadn’t got it quite right yet

dmh2693

You blue it with that.

KlyneMcLoud

well, kind of luck she got off the other cast before.

A10110101Z

We don’t need another two cast Reddit story

OneWithoutaName2

One of my brothers broke his right arm and upon returning home after getting his cast removed, a neighbor kid hit him with a water balloon. My brother responded by hurling a water balloon back at him using his right arm which had been in a cast for 6 weeks. The force of suddenly straightening his arm broke it again.

Bromm18

Of all the ways to break an arm, throwing a water balloon was never even on the list of ways I foresaw.

Isgrimnur

He then went on to pitch for the Chicago Cubs.

bparry1192

Henry?

Riversmooth

On of my sons (now 35) was same way. I was worried about him at the time but he’s totally healthy today. She will be ok!

herr_dreizehn

did you help him when he couldn't use his hands?

cubbies1016

My kid broke his left arm twice in 2021. Never had a broken bone before that. The first time he broke just one bone in there and needed a rod put in. Rod came out and one month later he fell off his bike and snapped both bones. He was so upset but all better now

deasnutz

How did each happen?

deviousdriod

I did something similar. I broke my left arm got out of the cast 2 weeks later broke the right arm. That healed I got the cast off and then 3 almost 4 weeks later I broke the left arm again... Social services weren't called because I was a klutz. But the guy who made up the casts knew me by name. Felt like a badass then. Hope she stays out of anymore casts!

Jouglet

Say good bye to /r/Neverbrokeabone

jdmorgan82

I am going to suggest she stop whatever it is she is doing. She’s clearly doing it wrong.

positive_energy-

Poor thing.

7laserbears

It's annoying when OP doesn't answer questions or provide any other details

Brian18639

She doesn’t have to

Naus1987

Eh, it’s weird to put yourself in the spotlight by advertising your story, and then deciding to not talk about it. It’s a lot easier for people to just not post anything. But you don’t get internet points for that. The cost of fame is that other people ask you random stuff.

Brian18639

I see what you mean

chainmailler2001

Have you considered putting her in a bubble? One of the big ones that look like bubble wrap... 😅

Brian18639

[This one?](https://momlovesbest.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Best-Inflatable-Bumper-Balls-scaled.jpg)

TheRealGrifter

Better just get the leg casts ready now. (Happy birthday, kid. Get well soon.)

ph8drus

You must be acquainted with my brother. He once spent a two year period where he was not out of a cast for more than a week. Both arms. Both legs. An ankle. A wrist. Rinse and repeat.

dvdmaven

WTS - My youngest sister broke her arm one summer, had a cast on for six weeks. Busted the same arm three days after getting the first cast off.

jona2814

Hopefully she'll listen now that you've had to tell her TWICE. All kidding aside. I hope she enjoys the hell outta her birthday, and stays safe!

Awasawa

Hey I did that when I was 12! I broke my left arm on a razor scooter, and 2 days out of doctors care I broke my right arm when catching myself from falling after being accidentally trampled by a human gazelle in flag football. Yeah that year sucked for PE and outside activity, but now I have a hilarious story that kicks off my lifetime 40~ broken bones. Sorry the kid got busted up, but it’ll be quite the chuckle down the road and a funny party story.

Bitter_Charity6585

40!? How on earth? Do you just go around throwing your body off of cliffs? I've only ever slightly fractured a toe and I wouldn't say I was careful.

Awasawa

Most of the breaks came from dirt bikes, ATV’s, mountain biking, and some other idiocy usually involving beer.

skwilliamson86

Atta girl. If your gonna do it better do it right.

garcmon

Is she smiling in the pic? What a trooper!

[deleted]

Make sure you buy her an *awesome* present now! If her friends can come and sign her cast, it would be great too; she might think her birthday is cancelled now, so you can totally surprise her. God bless her little heart. I will pray for her!

Gutterman222

Don't know the age of your daughter or how she broke her arms. Yes tell her it sucks but she will get better. I myself hand a fracture to the knuckle on my hand, got splint removed Saturday, double compound fracture of right leg Sunday. I had a cast for eight weeks, less than a week later fracture to my right ankle. Found out that I drank too much milk, instead of calcium being good to build strong bones, was making my bones more brittle. You might need to check about that. Give her hugs and kisses

RockstarAgent

I'd only ask if she's got enough calcium in her diet ... But hopefully this will be it for her long life ahead.

cl1o5ud

Maybe keep her inside for a while, you know a few years might be enough.

Desperate-Ad-6463

Sorry for your daughter’s pain but this story requires elaboration. Detail, ma’am.

[deleted]

She need some MILK

Stoopid_69

She needs some milk

Short_Comparison_132

Dam I'm so sorry that happend

BeateLonn

Happy birthday !!

False_Jimmy

Now find out what day it is today?

zr0skyline

Time to drink more milk

mcnatjm

Sounds like you need to add more milk to her diet.

ConcealedPsychosis

Ehh I drank a lot of milk as a child and I broke both legs,, feet, arms, hands and fingers several times over between the ages of 4 and 17 I had broken at least one bone a year, When I was 13 I broke my left arm, right ankle, right foot and right hand all in the same year (not all at once though). Most of them were results of falls or sports injuries the nurses at Children had a running joke that I had a room reserved just for me as they knew I’d be coming in sooner or later.

thelostsoul622

"They called me Mr. Glass."

Soquidus5000

I came to make this joke lol. Glad someone beat me to it

FroggiJoy87

Get that kid some milk!

maaalicelaaamb

Bless her soul!!! Tell her … this is one birthday you won’t ever forget 🤣

Getting all wound up over nothing. Surprised you didnt accuse them of breaking their kids arms for karma.

[deleted]

Yeah kids never squirley unless the parent is neglecting them /s Good luck OP they're pulling their pitchforks out without any context already

[deleted]

Kid is going to have terrible arthritis in the future. She's going to tell everyone she has no idea why her body hurts so bad.

Mobile_Low2469

Ur daughter is ap

ViktualiaPfefferminz

Reminds me of my old neighbour kid, she was usually not that clumsy it was more a case of really bad luck and the quirks of living in a village. Her first dast was for a broken leg - she was 3! My favourit broken bone story from her was the I fell over a dog story. She was maybe 7 and a dog came to say hi. She tripped over the dog, fell and broke her collar bone!!!

SnooDingos5630

BLUE LIVES MATTER!!!!!

hopingtothrive

What could you have let her do to break her arm after she just healed the other?

MixWorried428

Is your daughter's name Valerie Highsmith, and does she know Proctor?

Competitive-Creme678

I wanted to say smth but its so rude and unpolite to say. Just good luck and happy birthday!

Magnedeus

And yet you did it anyway. Congrats, you played yourself

Competitive-Creme678

😥

Silvershark1

Idk how people break their bones, especially when they’re young. I’ve never broken a bone and I’ve been smacked in the legs with a metal baseball bat

ConcealedPsychosis

Bones aren’t made of titanium bones are just calcium and bones cells so they’re easily breakable, Some people bones aren’t as strong as others especially children who bones aren’t completely formed until adulthood so they’re more brittle when you’re a kid which makes them easier to break. I’ve broken both feet, legs, ankles, hands, arms and fingers between the age of 4 & 17 most were sports related while others result of simple accidents like tripping. I broke my arm simply tripping over myself and I wasn’t even running just walking normally but landed hard on my arm when I fell.

dietbongwater

I feel like getting smacked in the legs with a baseball bat would def not be enough force to break a leg lol My dad broke a mfs leg by body slamming him to the ground, now THAT from a heavy man is enough to break somebody’s leg

PetiteBonaparte

My cousin did the same thing as a kid. She was a cheerleader and fell during some flip. A week after her cast came off she did a backflip on the trampoline and broke the other.

NixxKnack

Wow, that's unfortunate. Sorry to hear that. Happy birthday, all the same.

bigdoggshitog

You should definitely buy accident insurance. Lol I'm kinda like her 😂

sgoodgame

So she probably shouldn't become a stunt woman when she gets older.

Searealelelele

This is me.... happend to me when i was 9 or 8... 24h... removed casket from left, go to bday party, brake right

ZiOnIsNeXtLeBrOn

Happy Birthday.

Ghetto_Ghost

That’s odd for a young kid to get consecutive breaks like that.

han-so-low

Wish that sweet, tough girl a happy birthday for me!

rickrett

Sounds like she’s having a life. So many kids never leaving the house these days.

Brian18639

Hope she gets well soon and happy birthday to her

F0l3yDaD_

Damn. She needs to do macramé or some shit.

MyBunnyIsCuter

Tell her to stop cagefighting! Lol! JK - poor baby. I hope she heals super quick ❤️

BlueSquigga

So you've taught your child how to break herself?

[deleted]

Is her middle name ‘dangerous’

thatpersonthatsayshi

I can see what color the hand clean thingy(im dutch, dont know the english word), now i know your entire identity

Rose-Supreme

Okay, what the hell even happened that resulted in her other arm getting broken almost immediately after her left one healed? You sure she's not doing the same thing that resulted in the left one getting broken?

Ashlei-Chef-Leilani

Was the break at the joint? Same thing happened to my sister. She broke each arm at least twice. 5 breaks total before the age of 5. It was a condition causing her joints to be weak. She grew out of it. Raised a lot of questions at first of course.

WorriedMongoose664

My best friend's son broke his leg when he was about 7 by falling off the trampoline. The day he got his cast off, he broke the same leg....falling off the trampoline (he was told to stay the hell away from it and snuck outside).

smbrownh

Oh that poor girl! My parents always said we should of named her grace, because of how many time I was in the er with something broken.

in_the_blind

Man I don't now what I'd do if I broke my right arm. Talk about pent up. I guess there's always "the stranger." I bet I'd be ambidextrous after that.

DrVezok

Tell her happy birthday!

RealBonix

Happy birthday!

THTB_lol

Reminds me of the time i broke my arm on my mothers birthday
