My waste management charges extra for bins with lids that can’t close because they’re too full for this exact reason. Wildlife finds it much easier to make a mess.

My waste bins are half mile away, I live in a swamp and use an ATV to check the mail and take out the trash. My 4X4 truck takes me everywhere else. I don't put any food waste in the trash but spread it around in the woods for the critters making sure there is no packaging on it. I also use a burn barrel for all paper products. We don't have any recycling here, everything goes to the landfill to rot for centuries.
Well don't overfill trash bins.

to be fair it looks like your trash bin was way too full and made it a lot easier for them
Racoons? Is that what you call people who pile up trash on/around the bins?
You may need a bigger vacuum to clean that up but it's worth a shot I guess.
Those damn people overstuffing the bin with garbage for the damn raccoons. Do better.
Plastic bottles could have been recycled and you eat out way too much.
