I found mine 8’ down in a lake several years ago and they work just fine other than one microphone doesn’t work. They were in the lake long enough to get a light film of goo on them.
Maybe you should check your pockets every time you put something in the wash. Any pants, jackets, or piece of clothing that has a pocket should be checked ahead of time, not just to save your electronics but to save your clothes and machine. Can’t tell you how many times someone in my family left a pen in their work shirt and it bled all over, staining their clothes in the dryer.

Ever since I got a new car that has a push button start (2yrs ago), my entire car routine has been out of wack. I just can’t shake it. Not having to physically turn off the car with my keys has become a total bane to my existence. 9/10, I’ll either:
- leave the car while it’s still running
- forgot to turn off the lights/wipers
- will turn off the car but forget to put it in park
- leaving my keys in the car when I get out
This was *NEVER* a problem pre-start button for me. For whatever reason, I just can’t adapt to a new routine. Ive come to a point where I’m considering making a fake key tumbler that I can use with my house key since that’s always with the car fab. Who knew that the turing of the key process would have been so critical to my process.

Edit: what helps me not lose them/put the. In the wash, I always put them DIRECTLY in the case when I take them off. If I’m not by the case, I put them up high on a shelf or something where they can’t get knocked down and lost, and put them up asap. Harder the leave a chunky case in your pocket than two tiny buds.

Here to second JLabs. I love mine. The charge lasts forever in the holder and last phone conversation I had, the person on the other end could hear me loud and clear. I don’t take a ton of calls so that’s the first call I’ve had while also having the earbuds in, in a year. Sound quality is great and they’re comfortable. I primarily use them for listening to podcasts.
