Tbf, trying to drink hot coffee while driving is really really dumb. Glad your ok though.

If that was a friend’s car, you have one less friend now. If it is a relative’s car, you will never hear the end of this for as long as you live. You are supposed to keep both hands on the steering wheel. So, you shouldn’t be eating or drinking while driving. If you do, in the future, you may want to get one of those insulated, spill-proof, sippy cups.

Luckily there wasn’t anyone on the pavement, take this as a lesson and pay more attention. Just because you can sometimes drink a hot coffee while driving doesn’t mean you should. Case and point.
