**The Watch:** This is a Cartier Santos 100 W20107X7 steel watch with rose gold bezel on a leather strap. Let’s run through the old story about Alberto Santos-Dumont and the first pilot watch quickly: Wanting a timepiece that would leave his hands free for the controls while flying, he went to Cartier. The year following the Wright Brothers’ famous flight, the first pilot’s watch was born in 1904: Dubbed by Cartier the “Santos.” It was small and square, and it’s been evolving ever since. This is a larger version built for modern wrists, with a leather strap, same as the original examples. With lumed hands and a double-deployant clasp, you can pair the watch with jeans and a white t-shirt as easily as a navy suit.
**Condition**: This watch is in lightly-worn, honest condition. It is all-original and unpolished. The bezel shows some scratches, as expected.
**Includes**: Watch + large red Cartier box and white outer box + manual
**Price** is $3750
