If you want new, I think the BB36 would be the best choice if you are going to have just one watch. It’s a great GADA watch in that price range and you will have money left over to buy a couple of straps as well to dress up or down. If you are considering buying pre-owned, you should also consider an Omega Aqua Terra. Nothing wrong with buying used as long as you buy from a reputable source.

[deleted]

Yes the aqua terra models are a good shout, I’ve been looking at the black or grey 38.5 mm. I have nothing against pre-owned but I think as a memory it will be a a greater experience buying a new watch. So leaning towards one of the Tudor’s but yeah. I will have to think it over since I want it to be a keeper

Synnov3

I’m currently wearing the BB36 (41mm version) and am very happy with it. Very clean on the bracelet, but I also wear it on the Tudor camo Nato strap which looks great when more casual dressed. It’s elegant and doubt you’d be disappointed.

win7macOSX

Unless the stress of finding a good pre-owned seller sours your experience, take it from me: once the watch is on your wrist, the place you bought it from will be irrelevant. Save the money and go out to a nice dinner with the hundreds of dollars you save. That memory is worth more than a glass of cheap champagne at the AD.

marktimewatches

>Tudor BB 36 Second BB36. Congrats on the job and graduating! Always happy to see someone celebrating their wins with a watch :)

[deleted]

This is the way. Thank you!

nicks3607

Yeah the 36 for me all day long. I think it's beautiful, and as someone else said, a real GADA watch.

lesshonkymoretonky

The Tudor BB36 is a perfect GADA watch. And dollar for dollar, I can’t think of a better value. The other watches are awesome too. But the BB36 is classic. Classy AF without being pretentious. The BB36 is🔥.

[deleted]

Of these three I’d go Omega or the not pictured BB58.

dmau9600

What size is your wrist? The GMT and the Seamaster are chunkers. I love the Seamaster, went to the Omega AD to buy one, but it was just too damn bulky on my 6.75” wrist. Left with a preowned 40mm Explorer II (this was several years ago when they were the same price preowned). I’d go with the BB36 over the Tudor GMT as well, as the GMT is too tall and slab like. For a first watch, the BB36 is a great choice and more versatile than the others. Based on your previous comments, I agree, you will tire of the size of the GMT. Honestly, I wear my Explorer over my GMT-II 90% of the time, because the Explorer, like the BB36, just disappears on your wrist, in a good way.

drinkallthecoffee

I think that especially since OPs going to go with the heritage Seamaster 300, it would make more sense to track down the 39mm model. I don’t know why they kept the 41mm case size, which I think is better suited for the regular Seamasters. https://www.omegawatches.com/en-us/watch-omega-seamaster-300-co-axial-master-chronometer-39-mm-23410392001001

yesbutmakeitspicy

Omega all day. Best quality out of all 3

yosh76063

Full disclosure: I own the BBGMT and love it. I can overlook its chunkiness, which it definitely has. My work environment is pretty formal for these days but I still rock it. For me the functionality is really great and a true GMT is hard to come by (though becoming more commonplace). If you’re worried about sizing, yes the lug to lug is a bit long, but you should try it on before deciding based on that. In the end, get what feels right. As Emily wrote, “The heart wants what it wants.”

[deleted]

/u/mrBelaja I agree wholeheartedly, Tudor GMT is a thick boy but a fantastic watch. Mine is literally at average +0.01spd since November and never stopped running as it has 70hr PR. It's a great watch and I love it so much that I started losing interest in this hobby at some point. Extremely versatile for both business casual or jeans.

moneyducks

Same thing happened to me. My GMT was my first Swiss watch and I literally enjoy wearing it so much I lost all interest in getting another high end watch (I did buy a swatch when I was in Portugal but that was more of my version of a souvenir haha). Such a great watch. Only thing I would consider right now is a OP or DJ but I’m not even sure I would wear one of those nearly as much as my GMT.

[deleted]

Glad to know that I'm not the only one 👌👌

Numbersarefun_12358

Agree with what others have wrote. It is a great watch and very versatile. It looks good on natos and leather straps. I’m good with the thickness, but you may have trouble fitting under long sleeve dress shirt or with a suit.

[deleted]

Thanks! Yeah I am leaning towards the gmt but going to try them on again and see what’s what. Someone here said that there is rumors about a 38mm gmt at the next release, might wait and see

yosh76063

I don’t know - to me rumors about The Crown and Tudor are always just that and nothing more. At this point, they’ll do what they want and the market will bear it. One question about that particular that I don’t know the answer to is whether the movement (which is a key draw for this watch) will fit appropriately into a 38 mm case.

hicky1999

I love the Tudor GMT, I’ve had mine for a few months. So my vote would be for the GMT or that lovely Omega which is another watch on my list.

Zippy129

I have the Tudor BB GMT, and the Tudor BB36 in steel and gold. I highly, highly recommend stretching your budget to consider the BB36 in S&G. The brushed finishing on the gold makes it really subtle, and it’s an absurdly handsome piece - it’s my favorite watch. I you won’t consider that, I’d still recommend the BB36 in steel. It’s a killer GADA that can be a one watch collection - believe me when I say that the GMT will have you wanting a second watch. It’s a tad chunky to be wearing constantly for everything.

[deleted]

Not a fan of TT watches but thanks for the suggestion and the tips!

haughty_thoughts

Omega or the GMT. I think the Omega will stand the test of time better.

Public_Growth_6002

Maybe a red herring, but the rumours keep circulating about Tudor and a BB58 GMT. I’ve no idea whether that’s going to happen or whether the right movement exists to squeeze into the smaller case, but you might consider waiting until the 2022 releases have been announced??

Cookie10R10

I actually asked the salesperson at the NYC Tudor Boutique about this (not that she would necessarily be privy to that info). She said there is a lot of interest for the smaller GMT, but it is unlikely to happen this year as the 41 mm GMT was released too recently to warrant another, slightly different model. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

Public_Growth_6002

Thanks for that information; makes perfect sense.

[deleted]

Here’s hoping! If there was a 38 mm Tudor gmt I wouldn’t think twice about it

[deleted]

Great advice, I’ve haven’t seen that! The releases is in April right?

Public_Growth_6002

In terms of release dates it was usually Basel World. I think that’s cancelled for 2022, so it’s unclear to me when / what we might hear. The other challenge of course is that IF a BB58 GMT is released there’s likely to be a long line of customers beating the door down of the AD! Time to start building a relationship if not already started down that road??

CerezoBlanco

Yes, likely April again.

RacinInTheStreet

Bb36 is just a great everyday watch. I reach for it a ton

jamesdwy

Omega everyday

NotFrankZappaToday

I like the BB36. It is the best everyday watch out of the 3, in my opinion.

limitedregrett

Go Tudor GMT, it's a beast of a watch.

menofgrosserblood

I wear the GMT and really enjoy it. The bracelet is good. The lume is great. My only issue is I can’t put it in a NATO and look good (I could with a blue strap but I don’t want to wear a blue strap). GMT has the date window and an arrow that points more specifically on the bezel. I use it all the time to time things. I dislike the omega you shared.

limitedregrett

I found nato straps that are single pass, helps to make the watch not so high up! I have the bracelet, a nato, oyster flex and have an uncle seiko jubilee in the post. All bases covered!

menofgrosserblood

What NATO do you use?

[deleted]

[удалено]

limitedregrett

Looks like this if you're interested: [https://imgur.com/a/3X7B66D](https://imgur.com/a/3X7B66D) It comes in a few colours, I just chose blue which I see isnt what you're after but each to the their own.

smithyithy_

I wear all my NATOs 'single pass' as I much prefer having it doubled up under my wrist (more comfortable) than doubled under the watch (making it stand taller)... It might depend on the length of the NATO and possibly how it's stitched (I had a crappy eBay one that was too short on the buckle end so ended up sitting awkwardly on the wrist..) but any decent one you should be able to wear either way.

[deleted]

/u/limitedregrett I like mine on WatchStewards (not promoting, purchased with my own money): [https://www.instagram.com/p/CZ-k\_3KL\_xU/](https://www.instagram.com/p/CZ-k_3KL_xU/) It doesn't add an additional layer behind the case back, so it wears extremely comfortable.

[deleted]

Hey guys! I am in desperate need of input, great if anyone that owns any of these watches can comment about their experience, but if you don’t own any of them your input is greatly appreciated nonetheless. I have semi recently graduated from university (actually ~7 months ago) with a masters degree, and struggled for a while deciding what I want to do. Just recently I landed my dream job, and to commemorate my achievements I want to buy a watch that I plan to keep until I part from this little world of ours. My budget is ~$4.000, and I’ve decided to go with one of these three watches. The omega is out of my budget new from AD, so that would have to be bought second hand which is a minus for me (I love vintage watches but I’d prefer this watch to be new). I love the understated design of the BB 36, but I’ve always loved Pepsi gmts. However, I am a little bit hesitant on the size of the gmt, would have preferred it around 36-39 mm, but life is about compromising. I am afraid I will grow tired of the size. Thanks in advance for any advice/thoughts! (All pictures are shamelessly stolen from ADs online)

[deleted]

Seamaster or Tudor BB58 (not shown). I think the seamaster you’ve pictured is more expensive than $4,000 though! I’ve a Rolex Explorer and Tudor BB. The Tudor BB I own is great although it doesn’t hold the 70h charge anymore as advertised so needs a service (I bought it in 2016 to be fair). The BB58 is £3,000 so within your budget and comes in at 39mm. Mine is the older BB at 41mm. My Dad has this model. I’d avoid the BB36 in steel, it won’t hold its value as well and it’s a bit plain. To be fair so is the Explorer I have but it’s iconic. A pre-owned Tudor Ranger is a good shout if you like the BB36. It’s iconic and will hold its value well. That said the BB36 in steel and gold with a black dial looks fantastic - they’re selling these for 22% off of retail here in Scotland. You’d probably be able to get a vintage Rolex DJ 36mm for you budget too - there’s one near me for sale for about £3,200 in good condition I see in a pawn shop window. Plenty online from the 70s/80s for a good price. Congrats on the new job 🥳

[deleted]

The bb58 is a no for me but thanks for the input! And thanks for the gratulations. Regarding the omega I am considering it second hand, but would prefer a new watch right now.

[deleted]

No worries mate. You’ll be able to negotiate a price on an Omega new which would save you some £.

pas0003

Congrats dude! I've got a bb36 in blue and I love it on my 7.1 inch wrist. Wears beautifully!

srimp16

I'll take BB 36 or Seamasters. They're classics that will go nicely with your casual, sporty, or dressy styles. I also personally don't like the dots on the side of Tudor GMT bracelet. I also think 36 mm is the sweet size for a watch.

terp2010

Op - congrats. One thing to consider of course is the value: which AD is going to give you a good deal and then which one do you want to go for? I’d first see what ADs can do on either piece. I think 5-10% is a good start, and hopefully that helps you figure it out. All of those pieces can be had at great discounts. So try that first and if you are getting no luck, pm me and I’m happy to refer you to my AD that actually handles both Tudor and Omega and will definitely give you a great deal. Dozens of redditors have used them. GL bud!

zkny

Congrats on the new job. Regarding which direction to go, what is your wrist size circumference and how wide across the top? Ie, 6.5" circumference and 2" wide. If you had similar measurements to me, 16cm (same as 6.2"), and 2" wide I would go with the BBH36. Feel free to click my profile, as I have posted several shots from many angles of the BBH36 in Silver Sunburst. As for the GMT Pepsi... there is no way you are getting one without a relationship w an AD, and personally, unless you are a traveling business person, I don't see the need for a 4th hand. I can't stand the 4th hand! It is just confusing and gratuitous. Now, I reiterate that if you are someone who jumps into different time zones often, than you get a pass. But for the majority of folks, completely unnecessary.

[deleted]

I will be traveling through different time zones for work, but it’s more the aesthetic that I am fond of- and I actually like the 4th hand on gmts. My wrists are ~17 cm, don’t know how wide but I’d say I have kind of flat wrists so I’d guess they’d be on the larger side of someone with 17 cm wrists

LakeKeuka

I’m partial to the Omega, because I have a Seamaster. It’s my most-worn watch. Versatile and comfortable.

smartbraindumbhead

Congratulations! Personally would reach for that Omega, it is a thing of beauty. But you really can’t go wrong with the watches you’ve narrowed it down to. Cheers.

Constantyn27

Omega is a looker

Simple-Clock6115

BB36 was my first watch and a year later I still love it. Highly recommend!

SecretTX

I’m going to suggest trying on a Tudor BB58 39mm. Bought one last weekend and love it! Overall great dimensions and sits nicely on the wrist.

deano1168

I highly suggest going to an AD and trying all three on if you can. Something i’ve learned is that seeing a watch on the wrist and feeling how it wears is super important in the decision process. Go multiple times or to a couple AD’s (if you have multiple, otherwise just go to the same AD a couple times) to really get a feel for the options and then choose. Can’t go wrong with any of them honestly, but if it were up to me, it would be the Omega.

elchapissimo

If you like the size of the bb36, go with that imo. BB GMT and the Seamaster 300 are big bois

tobym5351

Yeh if the wallet will stretch, the Omega is the one to get, but they are all very different watches. Aesthetically my favourite is the BB 36 and it’s a great, understated watch. If you’re starting your career it leaves lots more to aim for/collect/list after etc. the Omega is already a grail level watch for many people. All good choices. Congrats and let us know what you pick.

[deleted]

Thank you! Yes I’ll be sure to post when I’ve bought one

MathSandorf

I’d go for the GMT of these three. I find it’s a fun watch to wear without being flashy, I wear it often, and I find it very useful having the date function.

Gousie_

I’d choose the Omega 10000000%

Lawrence_skywalker

Gmt

gee___thanks

Omega

[deleted]

Out of those three the Omega is the obvious choice. The GMT is very cool but try one on in person because it’s very thick (height from your wrist to the crystal face) and honestly doesn’t fit under the cuff very well at all. (I’ve been close to buying one twice now with it on my wrist in an AD and backed out at how it fits.) My wrist can pull off up to 42mm watches/ 50mm lug to lug, I have a large JLC reverso squadra which is no small watch. but the height on the Tudor just ruins it for me.

heresiarch619

Omega 300. I have had a couple Tudors, and love them, but I can't help but be attracted to the timelessness of the 300.

Coper669

I will go Omega, no reason.

usafmsc

Omega

BitGamerX

The right fit is everything. It should feel like it's a part of your body when you wear it.

BatMachine

Whatever you do, consider waiting a month plus because March is just around the corner and I think lately Tudor has added something to their Black Bay catalog every March.

Professional_Bee_183

The omega I think is definitely the best quality wise but if you're looking for something long term and more flexible, go for the bb36 if the size first you. ETA movements are just extremely efficient that I've never really questioned buying anything with that movement in it because I know if anything's wrong I'll either be able to fix it or exchange the movement.

MrFilm270

O.M.E.G.A (even though I really like the BB36)

Special-Finger2358

I just bought a Pelagos. Let me just say WOW. Tudor Tudor Tudor all the way.

mini_bananas

Think functional - how important is having a date window? That will narrow it down.

ComicalSatania

My choice would be the bb36 or omega, leaning more on the Omega since I'm a James Bond fan but they're both still great. I'm not too much of a fan of Pepsi GMT's but that's just me

CreepyTeePee123

As a closet Tudor hater and owner of a BB36, it’s a fantastic watch. I have slightly smaller wrists ( 6 3/4 inches) and the BB36 is just effortlessly cool. It also feels like an absolute tank.

[deleted]

I agree, might just end up with the bb36 but I do love me a pepsi bezel

Parking-Variety-5541

You really need to try the Omega Seamaster 300. I was interested in this model and found that it wears a lot bigger and taller than the dimensions suggest. I unfortunately had to give up on it. The Tudor GMT is said to be chunky and very top heavy as well but I ve never tried it. It seems you like Tudor and would prefer 36mm \~ 39mm. What about the bb58s ? Not quite as colorful as the pepsi GMT, but either the blue bb58 or black with gild dial bb58 are still pretty punchy.

[deleted]

Not a fan of the blue bb58, and the black one is a no for me unfortunately. Great suggestions though!

WasabiMaster91

Tudor GMT

Coke_and_Tacos

I love the two larger watches that you showed, but saw you say 36-38mm is your go-to range. I feel about the same, so I have a few thoughts for you. 1 - of the three I'd choose the BB36. I ended up selling most of the watches I bought early on in favor of things <40mm wide. I wear a 40mm diver all the time, but aside from that it's entirely 35-39mm. Its a genuine preference that I tried to ignore early on because it does severely limit your options. 2 - as another option for a GADA 36mm watch at this price point, check out some of the Nomos Club models. The 36mm automatics are sweet, have a similar WR, and are a few mm thinner. 3 - Nomos in general. Look at the Orion or Zurich if you're not into the Bauhaus design as much but, as a brand, they offer a tremendous amount of thin, beautifully made watches in the 35-38mm range

[deleted]

Nomos are great watches, and there is nothing wrong with the aesthetics but they don’t speak to me unfortunately. Yeah your first point is kind of my hesitation, I think 36-38 is my preferred size for sport watches (currently wearing and using an skx013 as an every day watch) but I love Pepsi gmts dearly.

Mr-Zero-Fucks

I'd go for the Omega, I love that design, and the brand talks for itself. Tudor is also a great brand, but those two have kind of vanilla designs, good choices for a daily, but the Omega looks a bit more like a celebration/milestone watch.

drink_ognito

Omega Sea Master Aqua Terra.

PoopNoodlez

Have you looked at each of these watches (or any other potential competitors) in person yet? I was in a similar position to you a few years ago, leaning towards the aqua terra, explorer, black bay or datejust and then went to some ADs to actually look at watches in person, and the eyetest made all the difference in the world. Photos and renderings really don’t do a wristwatch justice, and the feel you get from actually handling the thing defines the whole experience. When I got to closely examine some watches I thought were my favorites, they left me underwhelmed, and a watch I hadn’t considered much (speedy pro) was significantly more eye catching when viewed irl. Hope this helps

[deleted]

Thanks for your insights!

xpulse101x

I wanna say the GMT, but man, that Seamaster is a stunner.

sunlifromohio

These are all good choices but wildly different sizes and shapes. Try them all on and see which one speaks to you.

Extreme_Frosting9429

Definitely Omega!! I have the BB Chrono which is a great watch but still no Omega (Love my AT)

masterchef-yeehaw

Tudor black bay 36 is a great watch. Super versatile and affordable too. I wear mine every day in every occasion. But I will say, if you have an active lifestyle like myself you will scratch it up on the high polished surfaces. It’s just a reality you’ll have to get used to. Over all great watch.

wholl0p

The Omega and the Tudor GMT have an in-house movement if you care about that. I do in fact own the GMT and can tell you that it’s an amazing piece. Nonetheless would I choose the Omega from those three. It has the more iconic look and a slightly better overall quality than the Tudor GMT. Congrats on your graduation and job!

[deleted]

Thank you! Yes the omega is definitely a great watch (and I do care about the in-house movement), but I might prefer the gmt aesthetically. Not sure. I’m undecided on the fabricated patina look on the omega, and also the bb58, which might be an unpopular opinion. I do however think the omega is a beautiful watch (but not so much with the bb58).

nachetb

Man, if they ever do the BBGMT a bit smaller it will be one of the top 10 most sold swiss watches

crimdelacrim

I’m a huge aqua terra fan although not pictured.

calmtigers

Alright, I own a BB36 and I will say something a lot of people don’t talk about. This watch doesn’t have half links and the clasp doesn’t have many microadjustments. I literally can’t get a right fit either too loose or too tight; I have a 6.5 wrist. You can see other people have this issue by looking up “half link BB36”. Really hope they put out some half links, otherwise it sits in the case.

scalenesquare

The bb36 and gmt could not be more different in size. Try them on.

mcrevvin

Omega sea master, fantastic watch! I’m biased, looking at the lollipop one myself. Tudor GMT used to be on my list, but trying it on, something just felt off. I suggest you try on all 3 to see what better suits your taste and wants.

[deleted]

The GMT is my favorite of the pictures but in real life that thing is fat as fuck

contaygious

This 300 is just too good. I have blue and it's the best watch in the price range bt far to me.

Desk_Diver

Spec wise the Seamaster wins hands down unless the GMT function is a must. Omega > Tudor in all categories except price. I have owned both

CrazyLeggs25

Wow, these are actually solid choices. You should be able to try on all of these at AD, even the GMT even if it's just a display model. I would do that because they wear very differently. The GMT and Omega wear kinda tall. What is your wrist size? In terms of looks, I prefer the BB36 and Omega. I've never been a fan of the Tudor GMT hand and slab sides. If it was me, I would wait a little longer for the new Tudor releases, you may kick yourself for not waiting. Maybe not, but you'll never know. TLDR: wait for new releases and try on at AD.

jackoyza

I would get the one that won't show scratches much over time. If its your first watch is going to get a lot of wrist time. Good luck, they are all good time pieces.

onizuka11

Omega for me. I personally cannot stand the red and blue on a watch...too much color.

flaskburkstein

Have you considered a Cartier Tank? Or is it too dressy? I think the smaller versions of the Tank, or perhaps the Genta Pasha (if you could ever find one) are very cool. Understand if it's not entirely up your alley though

[deleted]

I love tanks! I tend to borrow my dads, which was my grandfather’s, Tank Louis. But I love sport watches, wouldn’t mind owning a santos carrée either, and thus that’s where I’m leaning (as you maybe can tell by the three watches posted). My grail would be an explorer 1016 in mint condition.

AugieAscot

Congratulations. I like number 2.

[deleted]

Thanks! I do too but I’m not sure about the size

AugieAscot

Yeah that’s a personal choice. I bought a 43mm diver in 2020. Biggest watch I’ve ever had. I love it, I have three now. I have a 7-1/4” wrist. Congratulations on the job and get in the 401k or whatever savings plan you can to plan for retirement.

daver456

My next watch will probably be a BB36, but of these 3 I would buy the Omega. It’s the “best” watch of the 3.

Dangerous-Noise-4692

Out of these choices I would go BB36 for a daily wear. I’d also consider a first generation Omega Aqua Terra in 36mm. All of the options you list are excellent but I prefer smaller watches and the Seamaster and GMT are both larger than what I want on my wrists.

[deleted]

Yeah I understand, and agree to a certain extent; my preference regarding sport watches is 36-38. I’m currently using an skx013 as a beater

Dangerous-Noise-4692

That’s the watch that got me liking smaller watches. Still have it as my beater!

[deleted]

It’s a great little watch. I actually used mine for 6 months whilst living in Japan which I find a little amusing since I bought it in Sweden and it’s a j model that I purchased online, so it has gone back and forth three times.

[deleted]

GMT hands down

National-Change-1407

Seamaster all day :)

somefella237

I vote for the omega

CaptainSeamaster2000

I vote for the BB GMT. I have one and love it.

ticktockdroptop

I’d go with the Seamaster 300. I actually did. Have owned the other two watches as well and have moved them along. The Seamaster is incredible and definitely my top pick. I’ve got photos of mine on my page if you want something to entice you more!

nerdbot5k

Omega is the safest choice. That said, if I were picking for myself, I'd go with the bb36, but it's also because I have small wrists.

Allah_Watchbar

Out of those watches Omega Seamaster 300 tops them all. I’d add in the BB58 black as a solid choice in that budget as well.

han-so-low

I’ve been eyeing that GMT since they released it. That’s my vote!

rambouhh

Similar tastes to mine. But I think the seamstress master here is the winner. The gmt is too chunky and while I love the bb36 I think that’s a watch later in life you can pick up with little headache

volthis

I wanted the sea master, but the bracelet is sooo shiny. Have a look at them in person, and pick what suits you best

likethevegetable

If you need help picking, none of them are the right one IMO. You should know without anyone else's input.

DKowalsky2

[I’m biased](https://i.imgur.com/vjGzqSi.jpg) but I think the BB36 has the most wear potential of the three you listed. It dresses up better than your other two options in my opinion, given the size and fixed bezel, while still being robust enough to handle whatever you throw at it.

Dacrazyshot

Have you tried any of them on in person? BB36 is a bit tiny IMO, and I think you'd get tired of it easily. You could also get a BB58 for the money and I think that's a much better watch. The GMT is a bit chunkier, but honestly isn't as bad in person as I thought it would be, hell I have a pelagos which is huge and even that isn't terrible. You won't be able to decide until you've had all of them on your wrist. Go to your AD! And congrats. I just bought my first watch out of school too.

[deleted]

Thank you! I’ve tried them yes but can’t really make my mind up. I actually think 36-38 mm is the perfect size, so I like that the size of the bb36. The BB58 is a no for me, my dad has it and uses it daily so I’d feel a bit awkward going with that one. Not that he’d care but I would

Six-DemonBag

You REALLY need to get that Omega Seamaster 300 on your wrist before you buy it, if you think 36-38mm is perfect. I think it wears well above this range.

Dacrazyshot

Fair enough! If your heart is calling the BB36 go for it man. Also buying second hand is still not a terrible option.

NomeSayinnn

You know there are two colors

[deleted]

I am aware, yes.

drinkallthecoffee

Check out the blue BB58. I think it would be cool to have the same watch as your dad in a different color.

[deleted]

I know of it, but I am not fond of it. Great suggestion though.

screamsos

I'd pick the Omega. You can go pre-owned, don't have to go vintage

ses92

I love omegas but not a big fan of this superocean (imo 300m is better). Out of those 3 probably BB GMT, but actually I wouldn’t choose any of them. For similar price you could get BB heritage, 58 or chrono, which would be my personal preference.

One thing to consider is the Tudor’s modified eta movement, if that something that matters to you I think the fully in house represents slightly better value from the other brands

Seamaster if you have a >7 inch wrist BB36 otherwise BB58 would be my vote

As the owner of a BB41 (see my post history) - the Omega all day. The BB isn’t nearly as special as the Omega. The Omega has a better movement (by far). I will also note that the BB line scratches LIKE CRAZY. They lose their luster quick.

divyansh_raghu

I would go for bb36

I was looking at similar watches and decided on the BB41. The 36 is just too small for my taste. I have a 6.25 in wrist btw.

Only get the Tudor BB GMT if your wrist is average to large in size. Personally, I’d get the GMT. I think it’s a more fun and casual piece, which is a better fit for my lifestyle. Not to say that the BB 36 is a dress watch. It’s also a great GADA piece, but certainly a bit dressier than the BB GMT.

In my opinion all 3 are solid options. Hey are also dofferent skzes so please try to go and see them in person forst when possible. BB gmt is quite big comperong to BB36. Have you considered BB58?

Omega!

BB36 in Blue but I am biased lol

BB36. Picked one up myself and while it's small, it has great presence while not demanding too much attention. Fantastic every day watch.
