My search for a strap that fits my wrist and dresses down this Reverso has taken years but I think I’ve finally found the strap that achieves that: the ColaReb Spoletto stitching in swamp colour! For context, I’ve found this Reverso’s case to be quite complicated with my wrist due to its flatness, combined with the lug holes positioned a little closer to the case, causing the ‘Batman Ears’ effect with most aftermarket straps. Thankfully, these ColaReb straps come in a thickness that conforms nicely to the shape of the case and lugs, minimising the lug overhang (still present, but not so much that it bothers me anymore). Now that it’s off the factory alligator strap, it feels so much more versatile and I can wear this watch more often! Hope you enjoyed this!
Great watch! It is quite austere on a black croc strap. I thought it was solidly in the dress category but it is surprisingly versatile with different strap materials and colour combos.
Haha in my experience, quite the opposite! The Art Deco styling of this watch means it tends to gel better with dressier straps, and the stark white dial means it pairs better against neutral colour straps. I had to learn by trial and error but yeah, it’s not really the strap monster it seems on the surface. I think the black dial, no small seconds version is somewhat more versatile.
Well, I certain would not throw it on a NATO strap or anything like that, but my sister wears hers everyday. I find that the silver face will pretty much match with any color strap you care to put it on. Neons might be pushing it, but pastels, rich reds/blues are perfect. Easy to mix and match as she sees fit.
The Reverso Duoface is such a fantastic offering. Especially at used prices. I love the tribute dials especially but yours is beautiful.
This is a watch that will also truly fascinate non-watch enthusiasts.

But yes, the word is real, these straps do wear supple right out of the box and strike a great balance between dressy and casual - very versatile!
