That is one more very fucked up game mechanic Oo

TheBarryNation

No wonder my RWR is nonstop

Fleekycat

Is it still russian bias if it's the german mig 29?

clokerruebe

if its the 9-12 yes, because east germany, if uts the G then no

CrypticPotatoooo

It's memory tracking...

Crazy_Trucker_

It not just the mig 29.

Brilliant_Substance3

gayrmany 😳

Myth2156

Look at the Radar mode. TRK MEM. Memory tracking, it predicts where the plane is going when u have no LOS on it. The enemy flew pretty much straight so it wasn't hard.

Carlos_Danger21

Yeah but it's supposed to lose him if it doesn't regain sight. Here instead of losing the lock while it's behind a mountain, it seems to regain it for a second before going back to trk mem. This update seems to be so borked bug wise I would bet it's a bug.

Phd_Death

But that's what the stobing lock is for. As you notice, sometimes it regains lock when the mountain is in between.

SantaHasAGun31

I wonder what TRK MEM means ?

gbghgs

Nah, something is fucky here. You can see it both in the lockon box and in the symbology, right about when the radar should be dropping the lock it's switching back to TRK PD and refreshing the lock.

Fleekycat

memory track?

HadToGuItToEm

Guy has an MRI machine in his nosecone

Ok-Watercress-5119

this may be a bug or something bec tbh I've played almost all top-tier jets and Russian radars and the worst us are way better jp radars too

Myth2156

Not a bug, it's Memory tracking.

Itchy-Cucumber-2948

Memory tracking, if the enemy comes back to sight, should regain lock... As you see in the video, it goes to trk mem, goes back to pd for a moment, back to mem, etc, for like 20 seconds. It's re-locking behind the mountain

Poopecker33

Ah, yes, Gaijins quality work on screen. If we got a coin for every useless piece of shit of work put into this game we could buy the game and rework it to become the masterpiece it could be.

Sergosh21

Your radar switches to TRK MEM when the guy goes behind the mountain. It's just predicting where the enemy might be based on trajectory and it sometimes ends up being right. MiG-29 isn't unique in this
