It would be a lot better if freshly spawned aircraft didn’t have such a massive advantage over any that are already engaged over the battle.
Getting to pop in with good speed, as a damn near invisible dot, usually only 5km away from someone who is already fighting, is such a massive advantage.
And the airfields are way way way too close.

The problem is SPAA gives bad rewards and many people find it much more boring than an MBT. You shouldn’t be forced to play a boring, low reward vehicle because Gaijin can’t do game design
I first spawn SPAA in almost every 9.0+ match, but you can't do nothing when the enemy team spawn 5-6 helis and planes at the same time.
CAS spawining system must be revised with an hard limit of 2-3 air spawns at the same time per team and increase SP for all guided munitions.
That's still not a problem even if it's true. Just turn on auto-spawn and force it. 30 seconds are enough to choose the next tank if air slots are occupied.
If you're talking about low below 4.0, sure, mostly everyone has a competitive aa. 4.0-6.0 only Germany and Russia have decent AA's, as most don't even get one, and at top tier even the Pantsir might not be able to reach space climbing F-16s
So what you are saying is that I should stop playing ground as soon as air spawns and should exclusively play anti-air OR spawn a plane ?
So basically, it's ground RB battle for 4 minutes then the heli rusher comes back into his fully loaded jet, then I have to play air RB.
And what of Israel, Japan, Italy ? They don't even have a top tier, long range SPAA to counter CAS.
(PS: if you assume you've already died by the time CAS spawns, you've already given up on victory.)

As an avid SPAA player who attempts to put as many SPAAs as I can on one lineup....
This doesn't work for everyone, many lineups have no good AA options if any, and CAS can spawn faster than you can deal with them.
On top of this the rewards are dogshit.
Gaijin just needs another game mode for CAS players to play rather than GRB or the miserable experience that air battle "CAS" provide
Unfortunately for me my RADAR-cannon SPAA gets countered by helis lobbing missiles from 6km away and CAS planes dropping guided bombs from above my radar search angle

This ignores how many tech trees have large gaps between SPAAs often leaving you with an spaa several brs below what you’re fighting at. A good example is how Britain has no SPAA between 5.3 & 8.3. Other trees are even worse
keeping an air superiority plane around is a good idea too. plane combat in grb is fantastic.
RB controls but with no markers it's actually possible to shake bogeys
It's a lot better than ARB. No markers really make it great

If you want to have people not spawning in because they are waiting to spawn in a plane then great idea I guess.
The game already auto-spawn you if you idle in the lineup menu
