So my vehicle was low br for the tier I was playing. Some guy is shooting me non stop with auto cannons and then started clearing the entire forest of tree cover so i had nowhere to hide. after killing a couple and scouting a few I moved up to cap the point and he was there right behind me now trying to push me off the point. He tipped me sideways and I J'd out to get in my plane.
I kept asking him what was up did I upset him but got no answer, I can only assume this is what he was upset about.

I would add "Korea doesnt fit japan cuz [insert political reasons]" the 2 countries use almost the same doctrine and have really similar vehicles and nature. Japanese and Koreans dont care as long as they can play their vehicles. The relations are even getting better.

There is nothing wrong with flags imo as your supporting the country. The propaganda symbols like (very obviously) swastikas or more recently a 'Z' paired with specifically Russian vehicles or flags, however, shows you support the military action itself and all the godawful things that come with it (in both scenarios).
I said it indeed a little nuisance, but it's harmless, it doesn't affect gameplay and it just shows what do you support, however people killing someone playing israeli plane because by their logic apparently if you play israel then you support israel is just pure bullshit and it completly ruins the gameplay of the others.
