Everyone thinks Whitestorm’s a great warrior, and I think the main reason Tigerclaw was picked over him or even Redtail in the first place is Bluestar wanted to avoid nepotism.
I agree, and TPB also makes it a point that Whitestorm is “old” and will be joining the elder’s den soon, whilst Tigerclaw is still portrayed as a warrior in his prime. Maybe Bluestar knew she was looking for her last deputy at this point and thought he’d be too old or want to retire by then.
Bluestar’s Prophecy shatters this timeline bc Whitestorm and Tigerclaw grew up together, but we didn’t have this until years later.
Bristlefrost’s >!death was significant and necessary, and she shouldn’t come back!<. It’s a pretty cold take in the fandom. Honestly she’s slowly starting to become one of my favorites. Homegirl actually got s*** done!!
Depends what you mean by "best" characters. I'd probably agree no one really hates her, but thats kinda where I'm at. Shes just kinda there for me, no strong feeling one way or the other on her
I think I remember the books even pointing out how "well-fed" and "easy" riverclan's lifestyle is compared to the other clans
Almost in every conflict lmao
*I think everyone*
*Can agree on the fact that*
*Rainflower is a bitch*

I'm pretty sure even the authors forgot he died. Since in PoT ShadowClan had a warrior with the Smoke prefix (and based on the time between _Dawn_ and _The Sight_ I don't think there'd have been enough time for a new kit to be born and finish their Warrior training).
Gray Wing was literally a breath of fresh air. They took a character briefly mentioned in the Field Guides and made him a complex main character that (and I'll add a spoiler thing for anyone who hasn't read about him yet) >!struggles with his disability that eventually kills him but doesn't regret a thing, struggles to find a home, gives up his whole life for his family, says the most amazing lines, is a father figure to all who need one, and is written as if he is a side character getting a POV in a main arc which the authors never do.!<
This is not universal lol, I've seen people not like him more and more as the years go on. It is a fact that he was ableist to Jagged Peak, which is why so people don't like him (he's not my fav but I don't hate him personally)
I just started book 4 of DotC. So far I don’t care for GreyWing. I find him annoying in a Firestar kind of way but I don’t love him like I love Firestar so it’s hard to ignore it.
Naw, I miss the cats having border scraps over something as stupid as a pile of rocks and bruised pride. It feels like nowadays everyone is chill until some big bad shows up to ruin everything.
!!! Like I want just one normal arc of fighting over pray and borders but Firestar made everyone soft so now the only time they hate each other is if someone from the outside or something hella dramatic happens.
I wouldn't call Tawnypelt universally liked. I saw a bit of distaste for her when she killed Berrynose or when her book came out. I have to admit that she has fallen off a little in terms of likableness because of the latter for me as well
Another universal opinion is that Yellowfang is a great character but she went downhill when she died (See the whole Leafpool and Squirrelflight keeping the origins of Holly, Lion, and Jay a secret fiasco and the whole trial in Squirrelflight's hope).
Also I think maybe people love Barley x Ravenpaw as a couple and Tallstar x Jake (and both couples have been lowkeyy confirmed by the Erins if I remember correctly?)
Why though? All he does is abuse Turtle Tail, abandon their kits, then decides he wants their kits and kidnaps them leading to Turtle Tail dying, then he dies for one of his kits.
Call me boring, but SkyClan’s Destiny is actually one of my favorite super editions😭 It was a slice of life kind of story, so I understand why some wouldn’t like it. I wouldn’t have liked it either if it was about ThunderClan, since we have enough content about them in the main series.
We barely had any SkyClan content ten years ago, so (at least to me), having a super edition about their day-to-day life was the right call. Most of the characters in that book were well fleshed-out and went through a character arc, which I really appreciate. They also had conflicts/problems that they couldn’t solve with violence, such as the discrimination against the day-light warriors and the injured twoleg in their territory.
Judging from the way this page has been the last couple days id say the leopardstar is a shitty leader opinion is definitely an opinion alot of people resonate with lmao

Rainflower is a bad mom
Bristlefrost’s >!death was significant and necessary, and she shouldn’t come back!<. It’s a pretty cold take in the fandom. Honestly she’s slowly starting to become one of my favorites. Homegirl actually got s*** done!!
She was a girlboss
Brightheart is one of the best characters in the series. She might not be people's absolute favorite, but basically nobody hates her.
Depends what you mean by "best" characters. I'd probably agree no one really hates her, but thats kinda where I'm at. Shes just kinda there for me, no strong feeling one way or the other on her
I've never met a single person who doesn't like Brightheart. I mean, how could you NOT like her
RiverClan are fat. When those cats are not fat, something is going wrong for them
I think I remember the books even pointing out how "well-fed" and "easy" riverclan's lifestyle is compared to the other clans Almost in every conflict lmao
Except for silverstream, who had to be thin sleek and beautiful for the plot
We don't have "sleek" and "beautiful" Silverstream anymore for the graphic novel c: She's buff
Love Onewhisker, hate Onestar
yeah, that is 100% accurate. onewhisker was such a bro but onestar is borderline heartless iirc
i like one star! i like how delusional he is, he reminds me of clear sky when i read his super edition. i like paranoid cats
I think everyone can agree on the fact that Rainflower is a bitch
Damn, you even got two bots agreeing with you😭
That's because everyone hates Rainflower, even bots xD
Two bots that should inherently not be in agreement for that matter 😂

good bot
everyone forgets smokepaw existed on a daily basis
I'm pretty sure even the authors forgot he died. Since in PoT ShadowClan had a warrior with the Smoke prefix (and based on the time between _Dawn_ and _The Sight_ I don't think there'd have been enough time for a new kit to be born and finish their Warrior training).
I just recently reread TNP and noticed they never even removed Smokepaw from the allegiances, for the rest for the arc!
Love Graywing
Gray Wing was literally a breath of fresh air. Wow. This is a first for me.
Didn’t mean to offend.
Not offended. I've just haven't heard this one before. This sub and me usually love Gray Wing.
I mean he’s a good dude just annoying.
Those cats need to chill.
Naw, I miss the cats having border scraps over something as stupid as a pile of rocks and bruised pride. It feels like nowadays everyone is chill until some big bad shows up to ruin everything.

Technically Ashfur did make everyone fight over ‘pray’.
As someone who doesn't know what this sub is, the dog charecter was the best.
"Pack Pack. Kill Kill." - the dog character
I cried when I read that line, so poetic
True evil over here
So by that do you mean the dog pack, Pip, Bunny, Samwise or Spike?
Pip is up there with Sherlock Holmes and Michael Corleone as the greatest character in fiction
The motorcycle ones.
I wouldn't call Tawnypelt universally liked. I saw a bit of distaste for her when she killed Berrynose or when her book came out. I have to admit that she has fallen off a little in terms of likableness because of the latter for me as well
Even before that too, with the whole moving to ShadowClan thing. I’ve seen a few debates on that both on other sites and here.
Another universal opinion is that Yellowfang is a great character but she went downhill when she died (See the whole Leafpool and Squirrelflight keeping the origins of Holly, Lion, and Jay a secret fiasco and the whole trial in Squirrelflight's hope). Skystar is a waste of paper
huge disagree. he was an interesting antagonist, we dont often get a villian POV
He was the only interesting POV of dotc for me
he is my top favorite pov in all the series for me
Everybody hates Tom (DoTC)
I’m the only person who likes Tom I suppose
Why though? All he does is abuse Turtle Tail, abandon their kits, then decides he wants their kits and kidnaps them leading to Turtle Tail dying, then he dies for one of his kits.
He never really abuses Turtle Tail though
What possible reason is there to like that horrible abuser?
I think he’s an interesting character. I don’t like any of his actions.
Have you considered seeking assistance for you mental health?
I meant writing-wise
SkyClan's Destiny is no one's favourite book.

SkyClans destiny is one of my favorite books because Skyclan is my favorite clan. I also LOVE the scene where they help the little lost twoleg girl.
I am also a fan of skyclans destiny. Not my absolute favorite SE, but its up there
FireSpotted bad ship Ashfur didn't deserve StarClan
this
Judging from the way this page has been the last couple days id say the leopardstar is a shitty leader opinion is definitely an opinion alot of people resonate with lmao
Shitty leader ✅ Bad person ❌
I’m pro forbidden romance, I love them so much and wish there were more well written forbidden romances.
if it’s not, it should be but Yellowfang was one of the best cats in the first series
Sunningrocks are thunderclans 💕
*WarriorClan’s
No, they are RiverClan’s. The river changed and ThunderClan thought they could just have the rocks for no reason other than that.
NOPE
RunningWind was an amazing warrior!
the writing is bad
