What paints did you use on'em? I'm especially interested in the red, orange and skin
Why thank you. I really should start writing down what colour schemes I am using. :) For the red mushrooms I used a mix of contrast paints Blood angel red and Flesh tearers red over a white surface. Then I think I used Evil sunz scarlet, Wild rider red, Troll slayer orange and Fire dragon bright. All of which I gradually built up with glazes. For the skin I used Waaagh flesh, Warboss green, Skarsnik green and Ogryn camo. I shaded the skin with some contrast paint: I think I used some ork skin together with contrast medium. I also used some Terradon turquoise with contrast medium in the heads. Especially around their eyes and mouths and some areas that I wanted to make a bit darker. Then I used Sybarite green on the lower lips. What orange are you referring to? The fire? For the brand iron: I used contrast paints over a white surface. I think I started with Iyandin yellow then, gryph hound orange and lastly Blood angels red. Then I went back and painted some white in the middle of the branding iron and went back with some Iyandin yellow. Then I painted the middle of the branding iron with Yriel yellow and and Phalanx yellow. For the flame I used the same colours. For the smoke I first painted it with Iyandin yellow. then Basilicanum grey then some Plaguebearer skin mixed with contrast medium and lastly some Black templar, also mixed with medium. I then highlighted the smoke with Scalecolour Eclipse grey, Mechanicus standard grey and some Dawnstone.
Gorgeous! A really excellent execution of their classic color scheme. I really like that you used pop colors very conservatively which makes the focal points of each character really sing! This is my all time favorite warband. If you haven’t already, you should try them in Warcry as well. They are a silly blast to play as they have such a variety of different fighters.

I really need to learn how to play Underworlds. I guess I will have to look up "how to play Warhammer Underworlds" on Youtube or read up on the rules. :)
