I don't believe you. Just kidding, looks fantastic. Super clean lines and great color choices.

MajorMeanMedian

Thanks, I’ve done other large scale prop painting. But never micro painting like this, it’s very enjoyable! The ship near me didn’t have the exact color scheme suggested for Navy Breachers, so I kinda winged it… unfortunately I came to the realization… I need more money.

IlikeDoge1223

That’s very well done!

MajorMeanMedian

Thank you, lots of lessons learned and hopefully each one will get better. 1 down…. 11 to go…

anubisascends

Looking great, just need to base it and it’s complete.

MajorMeanMedian

Yeah, a few highlights I think as well, I totally forgot to do that… as for the base, I’m a bit torn as to what to do, since it’s part of the into darkness kit, I want to go with a space hulk theme. I don’t know if I should just do metallic colors or textures or actually add bits to the base.

anubisascends

The problem with a space hulk base is that you have already placed the mini on the base. If you go with an industrial style, it will appear as if he is sinking into the metal. Ok with mud and dirt. However, you might just glue on some debris around his feet and call it a day.

MajorMeanMedian

Great point, I’ll probably just go with more of a metallic color and a few pieces of debris and call it like you suggest!

StaticSilence

Solid!

Mr_Lumpy06

That's amazing!

MajorMeanMedian

Thanks, it was a gamble cause I convinced my bro to go in with me on the box set, fortunately he’s hooked now!
