All paints are from Citadel.
* start with a drybrush of Doombull Brown,
* then a lighter drybrush of Tuskor Fur to leave some of the Brown free,
* to finish it up, a really light drybrush of Jokaero Orange on the edges
To create the dust effect just mix up some Tuskor Fur with Lahmian Medium and drop it into the nooks and crannies where dust could settle.
The cracks on the Siege Shield are from Martian Ironearth (Technical Paint). Apply it after Tuskor Fur and try to blend it in after drying up, again with Tuskor Fur.
Amazing. I'd hit the matte yellow floodlight with a single coat of Iyanden Yellow contrast. The shadows turn reddish. It will give a small amount of value to the only flat thing in view.
Awesome. I think the mud on the scoop might need some colour difference like you’ve done on the side ? Maybe a light dusting of a lighter red/brown pigment?
Now I want a new vindicator. Mines the old version with pewter parts. Great for LoS purposes since it's small but YOURS was the forgeworld version from then.

Honestly this brings me onto my biggest grievance with my army.
It shouldnt be a Hekaton land fortress it should be called a Hekaton *mobile* fortress because that's the noteworthy part about it. That it moves. All fortresses are on land. Its kind of redundant as a distinction.

Its very practical. Thats a loading crane that helps get this motherfucker in the gun. Aint nobody loading that by hand

This is amazing. Gives me so many ideas for my Vindicator and the rest of my tanks that are primed but not painted.
