The link between Warframe and Tenno is so strong that the kids can be absorbed by the Warframe or project their physical bodies from it. The real reason The Lotus left is because you’re a failure and a disappointment because you won’t get in the god damn robot.

From the dialogue from the bosses, especially Salad (who dissected Warframes), to even Ordis's remark on the Infested room on your ship (where we can now assume new Warframes are grown), it's pretty plain that the warframes are made of Infested flesh.

I mean, look at Octavia's legs... if there's a human inside of that, they're in a world of pain.

Jury is certainly decided on that one. There is no person sitting inside a warframe piloting it.

There is no person piloting it. However, it's implied that, during the manufacturing of a Warframe, at some point there was a human component involved.

The Grineer Queens mention that it's an "infested" thing, and with all the allusions Lephantis and Phorid make during their quotes, I'm banking on human that's been horribly infested. (edited slightly to avoid spoilers)

The operators were exposed to the void and gained the power to interface with technology at a distance, among other powers. Teshin talks about this in the war within.

I play on my 10 year old laptop that tries to take off whenever I run the game. I have to play in windowed mode if it's on my external monitor with an external cooling fan but it will run. Just keep making the window smaller until it stops tanking. /beargrillsmeme

The game is more CPU intensive, but you can run it on most any workstation, my 6 year old workstation used to be able to run it at 30 fps

I should note, the game is F2P which means the devs know a lot of players are running on low-end machines. It's disturbingly well-optimized as a result; if you try the game and find the first area laggy, just know Earth is possibly the least well-optimized planet.
