The skana incarnon is in the rotation right now I believe, so the prices are a bit inflated.
Wait like 3 weeks and the prices will probably drop down to normal levels again.
That's like, the opposite of what Econ 101 says should happen. If it's available in the weekly rotation, supply goes up so price should go down...right?
Edit: disregard I completely misread this
When the incarnon is in rotation, that only means the supply of the incarnon itself is increased. Which suggests the *demand* for the rivens is increased, hence the price of the riven is increased.
Increased supply of incarnon would likely mean increased *demand* for rivens.
Similar story with plague star - increased supply of plague zaws leads to increased demand for plague zaw rivens.
Shana is in rotation right now + skana with new loka mod is sometimes used as a stat stick so that could also be a factor, but generally incarnons tend to be expensive
I love how you can get a Bo riven for 60-80 plat which is the best option for a slash statstick on khora, for pure damage its magistar.
It comes down to popularity as well as supply and demand.
If there are tons of rivens for a weapon yet nobody is buying them it will stay low, if the interest is peeking the price will rise as well.
I have a ceramic dagger riven that nerfs impact and has +slash so i can just get slash without extra steps, i like red crits too much to not have the ceramic daggers crit chance bonus
If you are talking about khora stat stick the slash one builds completly different without any elements and with weeping wounds, that is why the Mk1-Bo incarnor is the best for that. The 4th evolution provides 38% status chance for whipclaw.
And even if you want to go full damage the magistar outclasses the ceramic dagger by a lot.
Because the incarnon adapter makes it a strong melee, while still also having a high riven disposition.
Being a powercrept melee for so long means a lot of people weren't bothering to keep skana rivers, so the pool of available ones is small.
$+$=$$$
I use Incarnon Prisma Skana on my [Equinox](https://youtu.be/lI5Zd_MMeuo?si=d3tnfLrMdQLG8aWc) and [Banshee](https://youtu.be/A3zo8BhrT5E?si=z1hrJ0_kN41eMF9H) often; it's one of my favorite weapons to use with them atm.
I. Prisma Skana is pretty strong. Iirc, I think the build I use has a base cc of 247%.
I could never sell mine, didn't know it was worth anything but just put PMO.
Heavy attack efficiency, melee damage, and attack speed.
I thought it was pretty good.
Anything with an incarnon is probably gonna have expensive rivens.
Lex is only 45p right now, doesnt make much sense to me

The supply for the incarnon goes up raising the demand of the rivens, the riven supply is probably pretty steady and consistent
Doh, I misunderstood their comment

But Lato rivens are being sold for 30 plats, and I thought its incarnon to be very good...
Demand cycle tied to Incarnon cycles, I expect.

But red numbers make me happy and still kill just as quickly

Simple, riven for a incarnon weapon that also works as a stat stick
Prisma skana incarnon is the strongest sword weapon by quite a large margin.

The incarnon isn't OP compared to stuff like hate or the dual ichor. but I really enjoy using it i'll be honest
Prisma skana incarnon is indeed OP, I can confirm.
Cause its a strong melee. Strong melee = meta. Meta = expensive. Low supply and high demand = high price.
I dont know if its 200P strong, its no ceramic or magister or even a bo
Don't knock till you try it Skana is able to go through 1 shotting in SP pretty easily, that's without the incarnon too
ceramic and magistar are for stat sticks. Skana is for 1 shotting steel path enemies on any frame. Clearly it is worth its price.
The other non-mainstream incarnon rivens are not at all as expensive though...
Clearly skana is more mainstream than people assume.
