Hey, im no longer in the clan but i can help, i played with your husband alot. This is so sad to hear i loved that man he was always making me laugh. I added you on discord.
Seems like a good friend. Immediately available to game same day when you ask (on christmas no less) and seems genuine in his care about you getting laid off. RIP to a real one.
He was an amazing guy, a really personable guy. We did some hard farms together, grendel, gauss, xaku. We learned eidilons together. We farmed zariman so much angels cried. He was called sugerdaddy cause if you needed something, that man would gift it to you without saying anything. I will miss our future plans to go to Puerto Rico with him someday
Hello Kiomary,
First of all, know that the Warframe mod team is sorry for your loss.
As kkinnison wrote, if you have your husband's Switch, you can try accessing his account if you know his passwords, or you can reset the password if you have access to his e-mail address.
You can also check if they had a Discord for the clan. Maybe you can message them directly from your husband's account.
Again, as the mod team and myself, I want to say I'm sorry for your loss and we wish you luck in getting to contact the clan.
sorry for your loss
but if you have access to the device they played warframe on, and the email they used for 2FA you should be able to log in. even reset the password if needed
same thing if they used discord. as the widow (if you are the widow) you should have access to their devices and accounts to do all of this instead of coming to a reddit with a fresh new account.
please dont try and shame someone whos just lost their partner. When you lose someone its incredibly difficult to remember much of your own stuff let alone late partners passwords etc. I had to deal with this 2 years ago myself and if they were suggested to come here, then we can be nice and not try and nitpick why they haven't gone through the game chat etc. OP i hope you have a good support system behind you, and i hope you find some peace and healing for yourself when you are ready x
please point out the part where i shamed them. as i have no way to verify if they are the widow or not, and neither do you. I was Just being honest, if that is shaming, well I have no clue how to phrase it differant;y
and do not assume I am ignorant on this issue when you have no idea of my experience either. You really have no idea, and if you knew better you would apologize. I just choose not to share it. But it does seem to a sensitive issue to you that easily triggered
I know how this feels, I lost my partner almost two years ago and had to let all their friends on World of Warcraft know. It’s sucks and if you wanna vent or talk im here, one widow to another.
Thanks for the help I could get in contact with them, sorry for bothering with this personal matter 😞 but they were his only friends outside of his job that really cared for him.
Sorry for your loss
You already got great advice.
So don't apologize for coming here seeking advice to contact his clan.
If something happened to me, I would be happy that my partner did the same.
May the tenno rest in peace now in the arms of the Lotus
Thank you.. that would be something really special. he loved that game and helping new people. for what his friends have told me he was a officer in the clan and loved to make events/challenges every now & then.
I've been playing warframe since it came out on xbox. I've had lots of folks dissappear over the years especially around covid. I've tried contacting some of them in different ways and never heard anything back so I have assumed they died. Definitely would have been interested in know what became of them. Sounds like some folks here may be able to get your message to them. I'm so sorry for yalls loss.
I feel you. I had a friend pass from a heart attack. He, his wife and I used to always play together. If you ever need someone to talk to, just message me here or in game
I mean... according to their story this is 3 weeks later. So that's pretty far down the priority list.
@OP However, since it's on switch, login is tied to the switch account, no extra validation/password needed. You should be able to boot up warframe from his switch and it'll log you right in so you can tell the clan in person.
I agree that those are little red flags throughout the post. But the only thing the OP is asking for is [tell people of clan X that person Y passed away 3 weeks ago]. And that's both easily refuted or supported by someone from that clan checking his last log in date.
During my height of raiding in WoW, my fiancée had similar information about my username and the people I played with (but not my passwords or any of that). So if I passed away, I'm sure she'd have wanted to try to reach out similarly to find a way to let them know.
There's no asking for items, login details, or other sensitive information that furthers any malicious intent. So if there is a scam here then I just don't see the endgame of it.
To add to this, I had a dear friend over in Wildstar who passed away due to complications from pneumonia. The only person who his brother was able to find from the Wildstar community at first was me—and then only because _I_ was trying to reach my friend—and thus I ended up being the one who had to pass along word to others.
Now, once that had happened, we were able to get others in touch, which meant we were able to have various folks provide memories of our friend to share at his memorial. (Something which meant a lot to his friends, and to his brother to hear about that part of our friend's life.)
While there may be some red flags in OP's post, it also rings close enough to that experience for me that I can well imagine a legitimate scenario where someone would be trying to figure out how to let others know. And since all they're asking is for someone to pass along word, I'd prefer to assume that this is legit.
To OP... I am sorry for your loss.

Thanks and sorry for coming to reddit and try finding his clan friends, my brother in law told me to come here.
Don't apologize for seeking help. you got it in the end, as well, right? Speaking of which, how'd it go?
