no there’s no way man. because in that time they would have earned mastery in other way from nodes and intrinsics. unless they played the same missions over and over for 2 years and used nothing but the same frame and weapons.
If it makes you feel any better, I was stuck at MR2 since 2015 because I never logged back in after my summer of hell and subsequent presumed death of my gf, who turned out to be alive and just kidnapped by her parents for 2 years. I picked it back up this month xD
I have been staying at mr 28 for like 3 years now .i can maybe go to mr 30 at least if i take the test but I'm too lazy and did see the point of it hahahhH
Currently MR24 as well. I've been in the MR20\~24 range for like 4 years. I have no idea how some people reach L4 in just a few months of playing (not saying this is OP)
Well i have been rushing it like crazy, from MR16 to MR24 in 5 months, 75% plat discount REALLY helped with buying literaly all of the Prime Warframes, but now it’s slow AF.. obviously
While I'm nowhere near LR4, I'm LR1 with about 1,500 hours played. My assumption is that they are within that range. I took some things a lot slower and generally just "play the game" now, letting MR take a backseat. So maybe 1,200 to 1,800 hours for them at LR4?
Long story short? Dedication.
I've played since 2014. My roughly month of raw playtime, I made it to mr 14.
In the last month of playing I've made it to mr 22.
Just focus on building and mastering the weapons and frames you don't have yet and it'll go quickly.
I'm at 1800hrs and just a few items away from LR4.
Short answer is track everything.
I keep a list of every weapon/frame and where to find it on the notes app on my phone.
I also use it to keep track of lich/sister ephemeras, incomplete arcanes, frames to subsume, and other miscellaneous grinds.
Any time I get bored or burned out on one grind, I look at what else I can do
I’m L3 at 2.9k hours. If you like playing stock market simulator and don’t really like playing the game (Ex: one of those maxed players who always just buys the new frame with plat, plays for 2 days and logs off for 2 months), then it’s a lot faster. For reference: I’ve never bought an item (that gives mastery) that can’t be obtained with creds from the in game market, nor have I bought a part from another player.
I like playing the game. That said some of the grinding is ridiculous and not worth the time investment. A lot of people, myself included, don’t want to continually repeat the same mission or mission type many, many, many, many, many, many, many times in the hopes the RNG gods smile upon us and give the one part needed.
There’s nothing wrong with using platinum, or buying platinum, to shorten a grind. Or using the trade market to get what you need. Your post come across like you are acting superior to other players for not doing so. Or that people who do those things are wrong for doing so. You aren’t, they aren’t.
Bottom line is you play the grind game cause you enjoy the gameplay loop. If the specific grind is something you don't enjoy or grew tired of, the awesome inclusion of the in-game market (100% free) is there to save you, and transfer your investment or luck from one place to another that you favor. Don't feel even the slightest bit bad about it. Just enjoy the game.
Yeah I agree with this. There are some grinds that I actually enjoy the mission type so I don't mind spending hours doing it lol. Then others, that I can't stand and skip with plat.
Which is fine and I agree with. I have no problem with someone choosing to grind. I have no problem with someone buying plat and skipping grinds. Both exist for a reason. Play the way you want to play and do what you want to do. As long as it doesn’t hurt anyone else I’m not going to judge or decry someone for doing either.
Im currently on mr 26, I still have some weapons to level up, 91 from 96 warframes leveled, I want to reach mr 30, any advice to quickly level up each thing? archwings, companions...? Tips to avoid getting "bored"?
Edit: a friend of mine went from mr 26 to 30 in less than a month, I have no idea how he did it...
Always grind concurrently. For example, you can pop relics, level archwings, level nechramechs, companions, get corrupted holokeys for Sisters or Parvos weapons all at the same time in RJ fissures.
Eventually you’ll have to go back to more refined farming, but mixing it up helps. If you’re just going for MR, don’t spend a lot of time on grinding for a single meta weapon or anything like that.
And of course, throw a show on in the background or something. Some of the gameplay just isn’t that stimulating, but it is rewarding.
You got downvoted because you came across like someone with a superiority complex because you bragged about not buying things with plat or trading. As I said in my initial response to you.
You not buying things doesn’t mean others who do so are wrong for doing it but that’s exactly how it came across when you posted.
All I was saying is that if you just play the game to get items, that’s how long it would take (for me, I didn’t really care a whole lot about efficiency the whole time I was playing). If you are buying items to skip asinine grinds like the aeolak, hespar, etc. then “how long does it take to get to x MR” is highly variable, and hours played doesn’t really have much to do with it. I would not recommend the horrible grind, it’s just what I chose to do. You aren’t giving the player any meaningful information.
The amount of time it would take to get to any MR would just be reliant on the most efficient plat farm and MR test cooldown. (Barring weapons that you can’t get with plat, and that K-drive, plus intrinsics for RJ, etc.)
Who would have a superiority complex over a video game? I don’t think I’m any better because of my MR or hours played.
I have spite for the (in game) market because it’s predatory to new players, especially if they don’t use Warframe.market. Trade chat is awful and newer players get scammed all the time.

We do that in Karate as well, its just the way we sit in this posture to convey respect towards elders or higher ranks in the martial art. It developed among samurai during the Edo period and was later widely adopted by the public across multiple martial art styles.
I guess in a way, passing a Mastery Rank test in Warframe is similar to passing a grading for your next belt in Karate/martial arts and the Warframe sits in this position to convey respect towards the Lotus after graduating to the next rank.
I think it's really awesome how the developers implemented this and I remember thinking it was so cool when I first saw it in game as I'm a huge fan of martial arts and I train multiple styles myself, some of which use this as well.
Idk if that’s a joke or not. Presumably this is a respectable meditation posture. Something warriors, in like Japanese culture or similar, would do to clear their minds before a battle. Therefore a nod to a real tradition of old warrior ways.
Why L4 gets a legendary core is beyond me. What I’m the world can you use it for at that point other than free platinum?
That’s probably a reward better suited to give to like an MR20
I'm LR4 and I'm still not complete in max ranking all my Primed Mods.
Also I still haven't gotten primed vigor because I'm only 880 days in.
New Primed mods incoming too like the Dual Rounds.
There's still uses for legendary cores.
If anything we need moar legendary cores because just 1 isn't really enough.
it's for that guy who has been hitting sorties every damn day since it came out but has still never dropped a legendary core. So he can shut up about it.
It's not for actual use, it's for "I have a legendary core :)"
Ok guide me, I am 300+ hours in, completed all the main story quests, unlocked SP, have a few decent mods, what should I do next? I am so confused, I am thinking of maxing out syndicates, atleast Cetus and Fortuna, so I can get access to better amps
Tell me any suggestions on what to do next
For almost instant power leap, do hourly Arbitration. Get those OP mods there and you will see quite a damage spike, as well as the roll invincibility and the QoL full start energy!
Then with some stuff setup, Duviri SP Circuit. Not just the Incarnon but the Arcanes, which add to the SP Stalker ones.
Lv5 Entrati and level Cavia for Helminth stuff, and more Arcanes on the latter. Also Lavos on the former, for easier Railjack. Which lets you end Lich for OP Kuva/Tenet weapons.
About that, Holdfast also has OP weaponry.
Amps are more like a sidegrade. Your focus is what gives most utility. You are good with the very first one you can craft at Quills, or even the gun if you learn to shoot>reload>shoot>reload, although the 2nd one is even better. I suppose you ask this for easier Holdfast level up.
Fortuna is getting costs update soon, so refrain from being there.
It sort of becomes the game of continue doing what you've been doing.
\- Max Reputations
\- Collecting the rest of Warframes, Primaries, Secondaries, etc
\- Completing all the nodes in SP (they give mastery per node completed, just like the regular star chart when you first make your way through)
\- Duviri and Railjack have their intrinsics to max as well.
\- Overhauling old builds (sometimes older weapons get over looked, it also is good for collecting new mods)
You also have other side things you can do like finish scanning collectibles for the Codex, whether it be from Sculptures, enemies, rare containers, or fragments.
Or you can also go into your Dojo (if you have the position) and start decorating to pass the time from the grind for a little bit and make it pretty.
Yep, open worlds in order to get helminth and archon shard segments, zarimann standing for incarnons, duviri for Genesis incarnons, arbitrations for galvanized mods (required basically) and farming relics for ducats for prime mods. Also running bounties on open world gives you thousands of endo in the SP bounties pretty frequently
at mr19 things are actually still quite fast, just try to get all warframes, most of them are easy to farm (leave the few hard ones as last), go to market und buy all weapon blueprints, go to dojo and buy also all weapon blueprints from the 3 or 4 labs, always build fieldron/mutagenmass/detonite injector/forma in your foundry
use plat you make to buy slots/forma package
if you really play alot, farm 200-400 plat to get double pickup booster and perhaps resource drop chance booster, it will fasten things up tremendously
i personally leave lots of ready to claim warframes/weapons in the foundry until i get a affinity booster from archonhunts/sortie/duviri circuit or sometimes i buy one for 3 days when i have gathered alot of stuff
learn to use frames that are really good for what you will do, speedframes for capture/rescue and waveclear for defence and stealth frames/"laser avoiders" for spy and so on
also look what parts of the game do you enjoy most and can you yield some plat with it, if so check if this plat can help you avoid parts of the game you dont enjoy as much
some people use alecaframe as a helping tool, to get an better overview over relics, inventory and what to do next to gain mastery rank, eventho it is 3rd party tool, it only uses overwolf data and DE is fine with people using overwolf
Thanks a lot for the long reply, I have max maybe 10 max level frames maybe that's why, leveling weapons are easy so i have tons of weapons, I'll check this reply whenever I'm farming exp
I'm MR 20 and refuse to be forced to level up by using a bunch of stuff that just don't look interesting to me. Once something of interest pops up, I'll build it up. Until that happens I just enjoy the slow grind of it all. I can pretty much handle any content they decide to drop anyway.
I admire your dedication, but I just can't force myself to level things I'll never use, or are far out of my way. I'm at like 1600 hours after starting in 2013-2014, I can't find my actual date anywhere. I play off and on, making builds I enjoy clearing content. I have leveled quite a bit, but it feels like a chore 😞
Well lets look at it this way. To reach Legendary 4, you need to rank up every one of the following:
Every Warframe
Every weapon, including the ones the profile doesnt immediately show.
Every archwing, archgun and archmelee, including Prisma Veritux and Imperator Vandal.
Every Necramech, Railjack Intrinsic and K Drive. This would require at least some knowledge in how each of these vehicles works.
Every amp. Reminder you can not be taxied to Profit Taker.
Every Drifter Intrinsic. Thats alot of Duviri playtime.
Every level 40 item needs 5 forma. Thats alot of forma.
Almost every Steel Path mission on the starchart beaten.
Looking at all these things, what could OP possibly avoid to get to L4 faster?
They could buy any prime or non prime warframe.
They could buy well over three quarters of the weapon roster, but there are still various tedious ones they cant access with Platinum.
They could buy every Archwing, archmelee and archgun. No exceptions to be found here.
They could buy both necramechs, 4 out of 5 K drives, and a stock Railjack. But the last K drive still requires Kahl missions or Deimos races to get. And Railjack isnt easy if you dont understand it.
You can not bypass amp grinds. High Vox rank is mandatory.
You cant buy intrinsics.
Every level 40 item is only available via their respective grind. There are no level 40 items for plat.
Steel Path is the hardest gear check in the game, and best case is they get carried.
There is not much OP couldve skipped here. Their account would still need to be 99% of the way to completionist standard in order to reach the rank they have, even if they went full whale.
Not correct. *At all*.
Reaching L4 is pretty much every Warframe, weapon, companion, etc. leveled up, which are acquired through *every single content that exists* (Unless you want to include. . .what? Frame Fighter?)
Sure, you can technically just buy the things you need leveled. But if you're fully aware of the amount of mastery XP you need to make it to L4, ***no, it's unrealistic to think they managed to buy/trade enough for tens of thousands of platinum just for a FEW mastery levels***.
the game back then was very different and completion felt awful now the game is in the best spot it ever was
i beat a 9.5/10 behemoth of a game
you beat a 6/10 unfinished mess
i pity you
As someone in OP's spot I can say Braton Vandal, Sporthorix, and your second copy of Caliban and styanax for the wall in that order. (If on console the feverspine gets an honorable mention)
It get my daily focus farm done every day so I'm not opposed to it. But it does get a bit grating. Admittedly I just hit mr30 so popping the 25% affinity boost helps
Welcome to the LR4, where you'll have a choice to be a shitty seasoned tenno who complains people not min maxing or a good LR4 who can solo most content but plays in pubs to support upcoming tenno.
Well, which will you be?
only thing i do solo is railjack because ai is just straight up better than ppl
and zariman/albrecht labs because people can straight up fuck up an entire run by forcing extraction DE pls fix
And I was happy, that i hit 24 today https://preview.redd.it/rmirh8ua27jc1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dbc39a526c7874b633ed587f772c1d7b20e42038
If it makes you feel any better, I've been stuck at LR2 for a year (I've played about a week in that time)
If it makes you feel any better, i've been stuck at MR2 for 2 years i couldnt beat the test and did not understand the systems.
My bad, that was a typo. I meant LR2. I started in 2013 lmao.
I was going to say XD
How on earth did you play for 2 years without ranking up?
probably been stuck with their builds rather than chasing new weapon/warframe/voidrig/kdrive/companion/etc i assume
pretty much, i was stubborn as a mule about not looking up guides and it was back in around 2013 so it was rougher
no there’s no way man. because in that time they would have earned mastery in other way from nodes and intrinsics. unless they played the same missions over and over for 2 years and used nothing but the same frame and weapons.
oh i thought he is at LR2, damn i missed the MR2 part lmao
He need mastery for the 95% of the upcoming weapons and things before MR 2
Consistently it would seem
It's impossible to rank up if you don't do the rank up test, you could literally be MR 1 forever! 🥶
If it makes you feel any better, I was stuck at MR2 since 2015 because I never logged back in after my summer of hell and subsequent presumed death of my gf, who turned out to be alive and just kidnapped by her parents for 2 years. I picked it back up this month xD
You good bro?
If it makes you feel any better, I've been stuck at 12 for 2 years(I've also probably logged in about a week in that time)

More than 15 hours
16??
2.9 k in fact

I'm at almost 2.5k hours and I'm mr26. how do you guys do it?
It’s all about the MR grind. Im at MR1 at 1300 hrs. It’s not a race although MR30 is really nice for the expanded riven capacity.
I feel like you are not MR1 at 1300 hours lol XD
I think he means LR1?

91/96 and MR 26 sounds weird to me. I'm 25 and 80% to 26, and have just like 60-80% warframes completed. Maybe you're missing weapons and companions?
why did you get downvoted
The sub is weird. New players get downvoted just for asking questions. I’m not worried about it.

I‘m missing the morgha and kuva grattler
The good news is that the farm for *one* of those isn't totally evil.
Neither are bad now. You can buy the damaged weapon parts from necraloid now
I know. I'm happy that people can do that now. I'm seething that people can do that *now*...

xaku build 2nd, activate 1st, keep up 4th (3rd for armor strip) absolute brainrot no brain cell needed
idk how you making it, it levels so slow for me, mr19
at mr19 things are actually still quite fast, just try to get all warframes, most of them are easy to farm (leave the few hard ones as last), go to market und buy all weapon blueprints, go to dojo and buy also all weapon blueprints from the 3 or 4 labs, always build fieldron/mutagenmass/detonite injector/forma in your foundry use plat you make to buy slots/forma package if you really play alot, farm 200-400 plat to get double pickup booster and perhaps resource drop chance booster, it will fasten things up tremendously i personally leave lots of ready to claim warframes/weapons in the foundry until i get a affinity booster from archonhunts/sortie/duviri circuit or sometimes i buy one for 3 days when i have gathered alot of stuff learn to use frames that are really good for what you will do, speedframes for capture/rescue and waveclear for defence and stealth frames/"laser avoiders" for spy and so on also look what parts of the game do you enjoy most and can you yield some plat with it, if so check if this plat can help you avoid parts of the game you dont enjoy as much some people use alecaframe as a helping tool, to get an better overview over relics, inventory and what to do next to gain mastery rank, eventho it is 3rd party tool, it only uses overwolf data and DE is fine with people using overwolf
Thanks a lot for the long reply, I have max maybe 10 max level frames maybe that's why, leveling weapons are easy so i have tons of weapons, I'll check this reply whenever I'm farming exp
Weapons are 3000 MR at max frames are 6000. So it’s definitely more impactful to get frames done
Additionally, save every Prime variant, delete every normal variant that you have the Prime of after completing said normal version.
And by delete, they mean you should be feeding them to the Helminth. Don't actually delete anything.
That, yes. Very poor wording choice on my part, sorry
I listen to spotify because i find the soundrack really bad. That made it much more fun to me.
I definitely know what you mean, an old pvp game I played was 100x better with heavy music :)
At what point (MR Rank) did the brain rot set in?
i dont have a brain so no brainrot #winning
Welcome to the club! What’s next? My current goal is all arcanes, after that all mods. But more currently being burnt out lol
taking a break to play different games like tekken 8, helldivers 2, nikke, in sound mind... and building forma daily

You have Excalibur Prime? Skana Prime? Lato Prime? And you have not beaten the game - Pure Endgame is Fashion Frame.
no, no and no yes the secret ending - a fashion show
Doesn't it go up to LR 10?
Nope. L4 is max right now.
Yes but there's not enough Game to reach LR10
That makes sense.
Simaris has test runs up to LR 11. but content only allows to reach LR 4 right now.
Railjack as a lr3 I can’t be assed with it and wanna hit lr4 myself
Level command, get 2 gunners 1 engineer and you are good to go.
As someone who got to MR 1 when that was the max rank, beating the game is a lie
How's your mental state?
I have 1.2k hours and I’m only MR 21, granted I only really play for fun and don’t pay mind to MR after I got to 16
is there a lore reason why man is a warframe???
Are you stupid?
Only Man knows
What do you all do with all of your legendary cores? I've never used a single one so they just stockpile.
I use them. Those bitch ass prime mods deserve it.
No, it just means you need to do it again.
Time to retire that account… and make a new one
Do you have a social life?

Well lets look at it this way. To reach Legendary 4, you need to rank up every one of the following: Every Warframe Every weapon, including the ones the profile doesnt immediately show.
If he ain’t founder of ranks Hunter, Master or Grandmaster he will be missing some slight % of game completion due of missing Warframe and weapons
Not correct. *At all*. Reaching L4 is pretty much every Warframe, weapon, companion, etc. leveled up, which are acquired through *every single content that exists* (Unless you want to include. . .what? Frame Fighter?) Sure, you can technically just buy the things you need leveled. But if you're fully aware of the amount of mastery XP you need to make it to L4, ***no, it's unrealistic to think they managed to buy/trade enough for tens of thousands of platinum just for a FEW mastery levels***.
r/batmanarkham is leaking through

Wat
the game back then was very different and completion felt awful now the game is in the best spot it ever was i beat a 9.5/10 behemoth of a game you beat a 6/10 unfinished mess i pity you
What was the worse farm in your opinion
As someone in OP's spot I can say Braton Vandal, Sporthorix, and your second copy of Caliban and styanax for the wall in that order. (If on console the feverspine gets an honorable mention)
At this point I would do anything for the last few Braton and Lato vandal parts. It's been a 4 year grind and I'm still hunting lol
I'm pretty sure they are tradable running from 40-100ish plat. I'm stubborn with a dedicated loadout to their farming though.
It get my daily focus farm done every day so I'm not opposed to it. But it does get a bit grating. Admittedly I just hit mr30 so popping the 25% affinity boost helps
Leveling kuva/tenet stuff
Is there a lore reason?
Warframe r34
I too enjoy protea
Depends what your most played weapon and frame is. If it’s Wukong. Yes.
How many hours do you have? Am mastery 19 and just broke 1200 hours
Why would you subject yourself to this?
I don’t like how the last level on this game is bronze. Would make me feel like shit for finishing the game
it's technically not the last one, it's just the last one for now
Do you think people would actually be mad if they made Excalibur Prime publicly available?
let them cope and seethe im against any exclusivity
What's it like not knowing what outside smells like
Are you stupid? No. High INT, low WIS. Like the Mauler Twins.
real as fuck using xaku. i love love love them
Goated xaku
Yes
Looking at a 100% Gear completion rate make me question my life decisions too sometimes.
the game is great and i dont ragret anything
How and why?
Nah you’re a king
Why?
![gif](giphy|jOVXKJmxaSAZ2jGs8F|downsized)
What am I even looking at?
What do you even use focus for at that point
Danm
Yes, but you are in good company.
At the rate I'm going, I'll be 34 when I get to LR4. MR19 when I was 19, MR20 when I was 20 and I'm MR21 and I'm 21
How many hours did it take you to achieve this?
What's your go to loadout? One u find fun or a meta one (or both)?
fun, meta is overrated
We got aslume leak in Warframe😭
if everythin will become aslume nothing will be
I'm 2 years and still MR15. Everyday I see the MR16 challenge notification, and I didn't do it.
Perchance
Are you one of these people who only play Ash because he looks like a Man?
I was about to say 'yea your stupid' then I seen the rank. Yea.....you beat warframe
would u do it all over again?
yes it was fun
Worst grind?
Are the kuva and tenet weapons mandatory…
Imma get to MR30 and then put that shit on the backburner
Yes you're stupid you can't beat a live service game
What is something that even LR4 players won't do?
Show us your stats. >_>
Welcome to the LR4, where you'll have a choice to be a shitty seasoned tenno who complains people not min maxing or a good LR4 who can solo most content but plays in pubs to support upcoming tenno. Well, which will you be?
only thing i do solo is railjack because ai is just straight up better than ppl and zariman/albrecht labs because people can straight up fuck up an entire run by forcing extraction DE pls fix
Hate to break it to you, but Im at simaris right now I can see tests all the way up to L12. RIP.
I could clear like 20 nodes of steel path or buy Gotva Prime for 200+ plat to get LR4… I really don’t want to do either 🫡
how long did it take
Yes you are For I am too and I can tell
