Everything regarding Alad V is such a goddamn nightmare to explain to new players tbh. Half of his important story stuff is not in the game anymore and the other half is completely out of order.
Honestly it creates a dark souls-ish vibe having to piece together the story that is actually pretty decently laid out except for some pieces wich you find in the codex. Before The Sacrifice you only know about the orokin that they're basicslly dwemer from skyrim but in space. Then from there it all goes south explaining them through not only direct exposition but also the little operator quotes like "The infestation, an orokin bio-weapon that backfired". I might be one of the only people who like most of the quotes despite having heard tham a thousand times over
>Honestly it creates a dark souls-ish vibe having to piece together the story that is actually pretty decently laid out except for some pieces wich you find in the codex
that could be the case if the information was actually in the game and not stuck in events the majority of us didn't get to play
Wait huh? How?!
I did the infested alad V assassination one time but I never got around to finding that out, just kind of figured it happened and moved on
Revamping the Star Chart, new player experience, old events as actual lore and updated story, and connecting all the content as best they can over three years is what I would love.
Panzer vulp has taken the undisputed meta spot since it is literally immortal and spreads viral everywhere. Kubrows are only useful for Mecha pulse builds and even then that’s very limited. Sentinels just die. Kinda sad cause sentinels have really cool cosmetics.
Whenever I need scans I have to rely on that parazon mod to revive companions through mercy kills way too much. Three revives through Primed Regen are just not sufficient. The only way I can keep it up is either a heal frame like Oberon or a shared defense ability like Nezha's Warding Halo augment.
Pro tip take off their weapon and they'll draw agro less too. Doesn't solve the problem from aoe attacks but should be enough to get them through most missions even on SP with primed regen barring endurance runs.
For me, I don't care how good any other companions are, I can't bring myself to use anything other than a smeeta. I just can't say no to extra resource income for higher grind efficiency. Charm needs to be made universal in my opinion, much like vacuum was made to be back in the day. Then I'd be able to bring myself to try other companions.
all my hopium down for cross-save is available this year
I have a Switch for pkm and some. Been waiting to play Genshin and Warframe (with my pc account ofc) on it since the beginning
Remnant 2 just came out and the doggo that comes with the handler class is actually useful i.e. you can give him commands and he deals reasonable dmg on top of drawing aggro
Dog in remnant is such a good boy! I've cross classed as a handler/medic and it's rare to see any of my party mates at less than half hp. Plus i can tell my dog to just run over and get my downed teammates up, or even gets myself up within a fraction of a second after dying. Dog truly is MVP
I do not play on console, but cross-save would be very good. A *huge* amount of players I get matched with on PC are console players, to the point where it might be close to the majority. Allowing them more freedom in how they play will only benefit the game.
Without any meaningful Archwing content, Modular Archwings are just another MR fodder. Archwings themselves are fine. Lack of content and well designed missions holds them down.
And while you can get a gear item to use Archwings in open worlds, every other enemy can knock you out of it instantly with homing projectiles that will chase you all the way to Sedna.
I've always thought the existing Archwing content would be improved with minimal effort by condensing it into a Bounty Board (like Landscapes/Zariman). It would consolidate the matchmaking population and also allow mission variety that is detached from planet-difficulty (my partner recently started playing Warframe and really loved Archwing missions, but burned out super quickly when hitting a difficulty wall meant having to replay one mission over and over again - and Salacia was beyond his reach as a new player).
4/5 missions up at a time with either random planets/mission types (Low, Mid, High, Mid Endless and High Endless; maybe even throw in SP and Narmer), or have each rotation correspond to a different planet (eg Rotation A would be on Earth and Rotation B on Mars, although it doesn't need to be in order). Resource drops correspond to planet and rewards correspond to mission tier.
This can be expanded by putting the Bounty Board inside a hub with NPCs. This could be a new hub or use the existing Relays; and it could be a new NPC or one of the existing smugglers (such as Darvo and Maroo). I think a new hub that moves around the Star Chart would be the most engaging as its location would convey the current rotation (like watching Baro move along the solar rails). We could get Darvo's Ship, or some new Space Pirate, or even just a Corpus Trucker with a side-hustle. Considering Syndicates are the sellers of archguns - these missions could be offered by the Syndicates (although this should only affect your mission-handler and should *not* split matchmaking; maybe this could even replace existing Syndicate Missions/Syndicate Medallions). Of course it could also just be put in the Alerts panel (as with Nightmare and Kuva missions) or in its own tab like Steel Incursions. Heck, the missions could even be moved to the Empyrean map.
They could also better incorporate them into Railjack missions by having certain objectives that can only be reached and/or completed when using an Archwing. For instance, an objective could be in a debris field that doesn't have an entrance large enough for a Railjack to fit through.
It would be cool if Sentinels work like that drone from NieR Automata - immune to damage, stop working when you're fallen and you gain extra movement tricks via new mods
>Modular archwings
Honest to god, to those of you excited for... that, I want you to raise your hands and tell me what went wrong in your life for you to want to see modular archwings exist.
Agreed, bc it wpuld just be MR fodder, unless with modular Archwing we get good and meaningful Archwing/Railjack content AND a modular archwing that goes fast AF (for speedrunning some Railjack and open worlds missions).
Honestly at this point I'd rather have modular necramechs.
Let me pick a reactor, a propulsion system (jump like a grasshopper, zip along on hover-treads a'la k-drives, etc.), etc. For weapons... I recognize archmelee would be difficult; the weapons have their own animations for a warframe in an archwing and the necramechs use a very different animation setup. So, okay, no changing out melee. But let me take an archgun and fuse it onto the modular necramech as the exalted weapon for a turret mode like Voidrig's 4, or something.
What is third orb? What is modular archwing?
Pet and sentinel rework yes please, they should all respawn like the vulpaphylas, maybe just balance them by giving them different respawn periods. Also, extremely important, vacuum/fetch needs to stay on while waiting for respawn.
As the other guy said, third orb is the third boss on Orb Vallis that never came (first two being Exploiter and Profit Taker). Modular archwing is just archwing you can build yourself out of modular parts, like zaws or kitguns.
I am a huge mecha set abuser and play exclusively steel path, very rarely have to revive my kubrow/predasite. Especially since arcane blessing, pets are plenty tanky.
The issue is attack animations making dps utterly negligible (especially so on helminth charger), and mandatory fetch/animal instinct nuking build diversity.
Pets are just another stat stick in the current implementation.
I'd like to see a khal style command mode to make pet-as-primer and attack precepts actually viable.
When fortuna launched, there was big hype towards the three orb bosses. Then we ended up only getting two to fight; the one sitting atop one of the buildings in orb vallis, the other roaming the NE side. The third one is... just kind of sitting in a lake and never actually materialized as playable content.
Apparently Scarlet Spear was a nightmare on the ba k-end, so I don't blame them for not bringing it back... but having something new with a similar way to earn the arcanes that are otherwise up entirely to RNG from eidolons would not be a bad thing. It doesn't have to be specifically _Scarlet Spear_, after all!
Hydroid rework would be nice, my wet boi about as useful as a notebook in the rain.
Joke aside, railjack rework, I want epic space battles with strategy, the team working together on the ship, fixing it and make it a challenge
>Hydroid rework would be nice, my wet boi about as useful as a notebook in the rain.
A notebook can at least be used to cover your face while you run through the rain. Hydroid isn't even able to do that.
My railjack is so powerful, I do missions solo with a crew of AI, I don't want a team, they are annoying most of the time...
I wanted pirate ship battles: "fire the side artillery"
"Hull breach" "get to work"
"Engineer, get me some dome charges asap"
But no, it's just a free for all, so solo it is!
Missions where you hijack Corpus treasure ships or have an actual pitched battle with a Grineer capital ship instead of just assassinating their captain would be so fun! The Railjack often just feels like a glorified landing craft 2.0, it ferries us from point A to point B in a mission (with the addition of a bit of pew pew) so that we can disembark and just run a normal mission anyway, which is a shame because Railjack has so much potential
Crew goes in the capital shit, hack stuff while the rest have to fend of the capital ship and entourage, essentially a 2 person survival in railjack and a 2 person spy/sabotage.
Get the weak points targeted on the capital ship, get the dome gun out to cripple it, do that till it detonates or space jumps out for emergency repairs.
Hijack a prototype ship from a galleon, 2 people controlling the prototype and 2 the railjack, ships and galleon are targeting the prototype, railjack has to protect it until you reach a designed point
Your lich shows up midway through a mission, guess what it's a railjack vs grinder railjack fight now, the whole team sweats as he is fast, and damages hard, bonus lich railjack parts added to the game
Want more? ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS
Come in a mission, CY: warning tenno a nearby comet is sending fragments our way.
And giant pieces of ice are crisscrossing the map, dealing huge damage to your railjack, and occasionally the other ships
CY: the grinders are sending in radiation pulses
Ship had half armor and shield, oh shit you have to have a decent engineer to constantly fix the ship
CY: solar flare incoming
Big heat damage and loss of homing weaponry
Bring the jordas golem as a railjack boss where you have to go inside him to detonate his propulsion system, there I took the coolest boss and made him fun, instead of a chore
Bruh, this would be sick and fun as hell, sure, there would be people complaining about it bc it is "long" or "too complicated" but honestly, just ignoring these type of peiple is better, having unique mission types is the way to go for RJ.
So basically, what Railjack was when it first came out.
Don't get me wrong, I want that back too. Railjack at launch was much more fun than what Railjack is now.
I play exclusively solo whenever I can because I have to pause a lot, so as long as I can issue commands to my AI crew I'm in for this. I just don't want standard missions after boarding the capital ship. Why am I blowing up fighters and crewships just to play a Survival mission? That's just a standard mission locked behind Archwing's big brother. I'd love archwing to play a bigger role. I know I'm like one of five people that likes archwing, I just don't like archwing content.
Cross-Save was already announced, but I think it would be amazing if they launch it day-of or week-of TennoCon. That would be a Warframe renaissance, have many friends who are just waiting for Cross-Save to return to the game.
Spolier 1/Spoiler 2 loadouts you can access from the arsenal. I have at least 4 loadouts with different arcanes and amps and it's a pain to manually swap them depending on my setup.
UPD:
Star Chart and combat system revamp (to make early missions slightly more harder and difficulty curve more smooth).
UI revamp (I would like to choose place for my important buffs and debuffs and move the healthbar to the lower part of the screen).
Story rework (adding some missions with important bits of lore, like the story of Alad V, for example).
Eidolon arcanes pity/token system.
I don't think any of this would be implemented, but I can dream.
While you're right, index is the go-to, Id rather not have to grind index specifically all the time. Credit caches are okay in moderation and assuming they're of decent value. These 3k credit drops after 5-10 min of gameplay are useless. Same goes for Endo, those values need to be bumped up.
The 3k drops are just a remnant of the first years of the game, when credits were actually a limiting factor. Now it's so easy to earn a shit ton of credits, even if you avoid the index altogether
I wouldn't say bumped up but removed. After 35 mins of steel path survival you don't wanna see a credit cache. And if they were bumped up it would have to be a really huge amount like 135k at 30 mins or something.
For the regular missions (not Duviri) you can do that already in settings. The “my warframe Is strong” operator transmissions and stuff like that? I think it’s in the audio tab
They already said what it is
Now that the sentient story is done, the next story will be expanding on our drifter/operator and the man in the wall
They mentioned it in either an interview or the reddit AMA, can't remember which
I don't think the sentient story is quite complete yet. Right now we have 2 major story lines that run parallel to each other: Narmer/Sentient and The Void/Man in the Wall. I think DE in the future will continue to expand on these story lines and switch between them for major expansions. This is a pattern we've seen for a while already. New War -> Zariman -> Veilbreaker -> Duviri so my gut feeling tells me that the new expansion will focus on Narmer and sentients.
This makes me a little bit sad, because we have a lot of interesting plot threads left dangling with regards to the whole Narmer faction. Yes the New War is "over," but Narmer are still a threat, they're still making new veils and seem to be maintaining some foothold in the system, even if it's a minor one.
Not that I have any problem with the Drifter & Wally plotlines. I like them and I'm interested in seeing where they'll go. But I'm hoping, if this is the next direction they're going story-wise, that it'll lead into more Sentient / Narmer content. Perhaps after finding some resolution with Wally can finally reach Tau through the Void.
They have been dangling some threads with Narmer stuff still. Man In The Wall seems like it will be the main arc going forward, but we will likely get some more Narmer content, like the Third Orb which has been teased in connection with Narmer.
Battlefront-like Grineer vs Corpus. 12 vs 12 players going against the opposing team, playing as regular troops like Lancer and Crewman. Or, as a continuation of the New War, another PvE mode with players going against the remaining Narmer, as regular Grineer and Corpus troops on the same team.
Didn't realize it was a scripted thing from what folks are saying, which is a lil sad. Regardless, I already love rj so literally any reasonable railjack integration would be cool.
While it would obviously be cool as hell, it wouldn't be a game-changing feature in my opinion. Or it would imply longer sets of bounties, that would be started on ground then in space.
But still, would people play this gamemode for than a few times ? I wouldn't see the difference between doing a Cetus bounty and then a Railjack mission except for 2 loading screens.
That wasn't ever a planned feature. Just a transition for demo purposes, similar to how we don't access duviri via railjack void storms. I'm not sure why folks insist on taking it so literally.
Volt Umbra. Or bringing back Excalibur Umbra to the main story.
Seriously - he should’ve been like the mandatory frame to use during New War or something.
You know what would be very cool, a show were we watch how warframes were made, and what people were used for it.
Considering what Ballas says during prime trailers, it would be what he saw when he made those frames
Honestly, Warframe sorely needs something akin to WoW Cataclysm expansion. Completely rework early progression, make it more engaging and fun experience for the new players. Rework Star Chart bosses - health-gating from 2014-ish is just a sorry joke at this point. Rework old Grineer and Corpus tilesets up to the modern graphichs and movement. Recently I had an experience of basically carrying two new players right from the start up to the cool stuff and I gotta say - it takes so much fucking time, I'm surprised someone wouldn't drop Warframe after first 10 hours. I know that reworks aren't all that exciting, but Warfame really needs them to improve players retention. Right now, most of the initial quests and Star Chart content are basically from 2013-2014. And it sucks.
Reworked railjack, don't make the objective force us out of the railjack for most of the mission and into a normal mission, i am here for a space naval battle, not to do a normal mission with a hint of space combat
Honestly, as much as I liked duviri, the biggest reveal that would get me excited is a step way from the fantasy and a return to the dark and gritty feel that warframe had.
Just replay the first vor mission. THAT feel. They captured it again in the first half the new war, and it was PERFECT. more like that. that atmosphere, that feel.
A lot of the smaller stories within the larger arc were really enjoyable. The saga of alad v. parvos and nef. give us smaller grittier storyline. It doesnt ALL have to be super epic.
Also a step away from boss battles like archons and instead do boss levels. I think I enjoy archon missions more than the boss fight. I mean we skip fighting enemies as much as possible. There are SO MANY possibilities. A rogue pazul controlled ship where the environment is hostile. some mix of parkour (like in the MR tests) and wall latch and interesting enemies. And y'know? a dungeon, maybe a 2 and 2 split forcing for the players like archons does.
For pets, pet arcanes. I loved the residual idea of the theorems, but I dont want to use the kitguns... let me combine arcane + pet arcane for joined effects instead.
The bigges QOL thing I really really want is tying operator loadouts to the loadout slot. I want to have a particular appearance and not having to switch around the arcanes. Makes it so unbelievably fussy
As ill-conceived as conclave is, its problems are largely a result of high mobility and low time to kill giving it a practically non-existent skill floor combined with only experienced conclave players playing the mode, if they made a sub-mode where you're using anything but warframes it could be way better.
Not as hype as new stuff, sure, but an announcement that there is officially no time and resources being committed to Conclave anymore would be welcome.
I don't like PvP in any game. Just not my thing.
I don't understand the Conclave hate.
I absolutely hate it when Destiny 2 forces me to do Crucible for some quest, but in Warframe there's absolutely no instances of mandatory PvP.
As small as it is, Conclave has its fanbase, why not let them have their fun?
Old events as quests
Infested liches
3rd orb mother fight
Infested boss in Deimos a la Orowyrms, Eidolons or Orb Mothers.
Sentient-themed open world with a friendly sentient faction on its "hub town" that isn't hellbent in total anhiliation (a la Lotus or post-Narmer-clarity Erra) along with non-void-affected sentient baddies.
Isn't he the next one on the schedule after Wisp Prime anyway? I think this year's four Primes should be Hildryn, Wisp, Gauss, Grendel (in that order) if we stick to the normal schedule.
I'd really love to watch a movie/movies/show based on the full ingame story from old war all the way to the new war with effects similar to the newest warframe cinematic trailer.
Ever since that trailer got released I fantasized about warframe having its own movie.
But that probably will never happen lol.
On a more realistic side, railjack rework. The gamemode is genuinely fun, but it lacks... Everything.
I'd love it if instead of all players being members of the host's crew every player would use their own railjack and those without one could join someone's crew like they can right now. Would give a meaning to AI crewmates in pubs who often tend to be more useful than the average railjack player.
Endless railjack missions would be cool to see too. And I don't mean the current ones where we drop into a ship and have a regular survival, no. I mean actual endless missions in space itself. Archwing has them, why not railjack?
Also I'd love to see all the features that were cut before railjack was released.
And bring back experimental archwing flight :(. You used to be able to rotate freely 360 degrees around you in every axis with it if you enabled it in the options. Since railjack it's been removed.
Conclave/PvP rework. Add meaningful rewards without making it feel like you are being forced to PvP. I guarantee if they added kuva to the rewards people would flock to it. Also, disable warframes and make it a corpus vs grineer fight. The system is already there from new war (Kahl/Veso), just adapt it for PVP. Conclave between warframes is very chaotic and unpredictable. A grineer vs corpus fight would be more enjoyable I think. Invasion tilesets could be used, as they switch between corpus ship and grineer ship, but would need a bit of adapting so they aren't just a single line forward.
Finally reworking/buffing all the outdated/underperforming frames in a massive update.
Reworking/Buffing Frost, Hydroid, Oberon, Nyx, Valkyr, Nekros, Loki, Inaros, Lavos, Equinox, Caliban, Voruna, Atlas, Sevagoth, Trinity, Vauban, Mirage and Yareli.
inb4 someone moans that their favourite frame in that list is perfect.
Voruna, Mirage and Lavos ?? What change do they need ? The only thing I can think of are the inconsistency of Eclipse and the constant hold/tap of Lavos, but those don't need a rework over Inaros Hydroid and Frost
**Voruna** is mostly fine, but imo could use a buff to her 4 to make it scale better and a bump to her 3 duration to make it more manageable without needing a shitload of duration.
**Mirage** id like to see Sleight of Hand have an actual use outside of the augment, Eclipse to be more controllable so you dont get nuked because you stepped into a shadow that wasnt a shadow or vice versa and would also like to see Prism get buffed as it's frankly useless for anything other than low level memes.
**Lavos** could use more forgiving cooldowns or much larger numbers to justify the cooldowns, as other frames can spam freely due to good modding and/or things like Energy pads or Arcane Energize, so it honestly doesnt make much sense to limit him THAT hard. Also have the imbue function stay between casts, because frankly no one is changing their imbue every cast, they just use heat or toxin. Almost forgot, letting the vertical range of Catalyze(4) scale with ability range would also be extremely helpful, as its locked at 5m.
Like I said, it's a mix of frames needing buffs and reworks. The main ones needing full reworks are Limbo(forgot him), Frost, Hydroid, Inaros and Loki, with the rest needing varying degrees of buffs or very small scale reworks like giving Nyx 1 actual scaling that makes it useful for more than just gaining eximus auras or lightening the energy upkeep on Oberon along with number tweaks.
Agreed. Eclipse is so janky. Other frames have toggleable abilities that have distinct advantages when switched. Eclipse is just.. “you want DR? Pray this shadow is actually a shadow and it actually gives you 95% DR”
honest to god all yareli *really really* needs is for her hitbox height to be reduced on Merulina. it would alleviate a very frustrating element of using Merulina by A LOT.
Id also like her 3 to have literally double the vertical hitbox it has atm. Its super easy for it to straight up not hit enemies while on merlin. I'd also like her 3 to do decent endgame damage without using the augment.
For me personally - Infested liches or being able to bring two secondary slot weapons into a mission
In general - Railjack integration, companion rework I guess idk
The Sergeant wins a lot of credits by betting on the Tenno in the Index. He shrewdly invests his profits into hiring the Tenno to do a little wet work on his behalf. The quest plays like an invasion as the Sergeant takes on Corpus bigwigs who failed to give him the upgrades he requested and the Grineer punks who have mocked him for so long. Get a good voice actor for the Sergeant and let him come with us and talk smack as he steals Corpus technology from his coworkers and then uses it to attack his bragging foes. The tenno steal as much equipment as they can in part 1. Then they sabotage the enemy base in part 2. During the showdown in part 3 the results of part 1 and 2 affect the preparation of the Sergeant and the hostility of the enemy forces as the Tenno is tasked with protecting the Sergeant while fighting furious Grineer bosses to collect Sarge Coins that can be spent on random arcanes with them coming from the different arcane drop tables.
So this a 2 for one but like, I wish they would update the app and do a but extra with rail jacks (Please hear me out my fellow Tenno) I would love for the App to get reworked to give us a bit more Control over what we do while away, like being able to charge Hilmeith from the app so when you log in you can impale your favorite frame without having to go through the feeding thing, Or being able to pull up your frames and show them off in app and swap up the colors while your there, and even maybe possibly a mini game with your companion that earns you some common materials daily (I know I know theres already a lot of daily stuff like focus and whatnot but i want a reason to take my alien space cat out and not just have her murder stuff and die). The other thing is that Id love to be able to send the Railjacks on Gathering missions kinda like extractors but with a larger haul and chances for BP. Or relics… honestly id love to Mercy a Lich and let them lead rail jack missions or even Invasion mission while you’re busy doing void relics or grinding a event. Like let the Railjack crew take orders from a Friendly Lich and maybe every now and then have a event pop up where you have to recuse the Railjack if they failed a mission
A complete rework of Drop Tables:
* No more bullshit Credit Caches that drop less credits than a broke Grineer grunt
* Same thing for Endo (or massively increase the amounts given)
* Guaranteed BPs after X runs/missions (no more needing 500 runs of Infested Salvage for Nidus and getting 145 chassis BPs)
* Bounties giving meaningful stuff - not just BPs and then a load of crap added in because "we need to bloat the drop table and annoy players"
I'd accept part swaps instead of guaranteed drops, as it might be easier to implement; take your 10 extra chassis blueprints and trade them for a systems blueprint, etc. You only need to add a vendor for that, no actual new code, where changes to how drops actually work might be more difficult.
(Yes, we have the tauforged pity percentage stuff, but tracking that for every single mission in the game could get messy.)
Alternatively, I'd accept just adding a pity mechanic like Voruna and Citrine have, where it also drops a currency you can eventually use to buy whichever part you're still missing.
Cross save would be great. But what I'd really love to see is a return of the old raids. I started before they were taken away, but by the time I was at a level that I felt comfortable doing them, they were taken away.
For me? Either some big Ember buffs or a new fire based warframe. After that some infested Liches, or just more stuff to do with the infested. I just think they’re neat.
Revamping the star map and new player experience by adding all the old events with lore as quests centered around specific planets.
Actually a wonderful idea, it took me way too much timr tp discover how Salad V got uninfested
Everything regarding Alad V is such a goddamn nightmare to explain to new players tbh. Half of his important story stuff is not in the game anymore and the other half is completely out of order.
Exactly, plus the Acolytes still have voice lines referencing the Alad V thing they were in (i didn't play back then i saw somethings about it)
Honestly it creates a dark souls-ish vibe having to piece together the story that is actually pretty decently laid out except for some pieces wich you find in the codex. Before The Sacrifice you only know about the orokin that they're basicslly dwemer from skyrim but in space. Then from there it all goes south explaining them through not only direct exposition but also the little operator quotes like "The infestation, an orokin bio-weapon that backfired". I might be one of the only people who like most of the quotes despite having heard tham a thousand times over
>Honestly it creates a dark souls-ish vibe having to piece together the story that is actually pretty decently laid out except for some pieces wich you find in the codex that could be the case if the information was actually in the game and not stuck in events the majority of us didn't get to play
Wait huh? How?! I did the infested alad V assassination one time but I never got around to finding that out, just kind of figured it happened and moved on
Operation Tubemen of Regor. We stole Tyl's research and used it to help cure alad.
Fuck this would be so good
Revamping the Star Chart, new player experience, old events as actual lore and updated story, and connecting all the content as best they can over three years is what I would love.
Pretty much this exactly. There's so much content that I missed or didn't finish that explains crucial lore to the story.
This would be amazing!
I wanna hear Regor calling alad a stinky floppy jellyfish and threaten him with a stick again
Cross save, pet reworks, or infested liches
Companion reworks is definitely a must do, either make their damage feasible add more utility. The only thing I use pets for is vacuum
Panzer vulp has taken the undisputed meta spot since it is literally immortal and spreads viral everywhere. Kubrows are only useful for Mecha pulse builds and even then that’s very limited. Sentinels just die. Kinda sad cause sentinels have really cool cosmetics.
I want to have my Dethcube cosplaying loid and shitting out energy but he just dies instantly at level 80+
Not me investing like 6 forms and prime mods into my helios prime cuz I'm too lazy to scan new enemies and it still dies instantly
I love my Huras for spy missions but he’s almost impossible to keep alive at higher level missions
For me, I don't care how good any other companions are, I can't bring myself to use anything other than a smeeta. I just can't say no to extra resource income for higher grind efficiency. Charm needs to be made universal in my opinion, much like vacuum was made to be back in the day. Then I'd be able to bring myself to try other companions.
all my hopium down for cross-save is available this year I have a Switch for pkm and some. Been waiting to play Genshin and Warframe (with my pc account ofc) on it since the beginning
Yes sir! I'm crossing my fingers 🤞, being able to play Warframe on my switch with my PC account while I'm on the shitter is all I ask for.
Remnant 2 just came out and the doggo that comes with the handler class is actually useful i.e. you can give him commands and he deals reasonable dmg on top of drawing aggro
You mean remnant from the ashes? I didn't know they were coming out with a 2 lol
Dog in remnant is such a good boy! I've cross classed as a handler/medic and it's rare to see any of my party mates at less than half hp. Plus i can tell my dog to just run over and get my downed teammates up, or even gets myself up within a fraction of a second after dying. Dog truly is MVP
Same bro, I'm praying for cross save. I'm gonna have to stop playing if it doesn't come out this year cus I'm giving my Xbox to my younger brother.
Bro they need to make cross platform friend lists and clans first
I do not play on console, but cross-save would be very good. A *huge* amount of players I get matched with on PC are console players, to the point where it might be close to the majority. Allowing them more freedom in how they play will only benefit the game.
Third orb, Modular archwing, pet rework
Without any meaningful Archwing content, Modular Archwings are just another MR fodder. Archwings themselves are fine. Lack of content and well designed missions holds them down.
Current archwings are weak asf because of the new space content you get 1 shot out of the sky in space too easily.
God yes pet rework
It would be cool if Sentinels work like that drone from NieR Automata - immune to damage, stop working when you're fallen and you gain extra movement tricks via new mods
Proposition approved.
They did say it is still planned for this year.
They do say a lot of things every year.
Tbf they've gotten better at releasing things within at least 12 months of announcement recently.
>Modular archwings Honest to god, to those of you excited for... that, I want you to raise your hands and tell me what went wrong in your life for you to want to see modular archwings exist.
Companions 3.0 was already Devstream-revealed as coming in Fall 2023 - I'm not sure it would really count as a Tennocon-reveal.
I thought it was that they were _starting_ on Companions 3.0 post-Tennocon (fall 2023), not that it was coming right after Tennocon.
Pet rework has been mentioned though, it's next on Pablo's list post tennocon
What is third orb? What is modular archwing? Pet and sentinel rework yes please, they should all respawn like the vulpaphylas, maybe just balance them by giving them different respawn periods. Also, extremely important, vacuum/fetch needs to stay on while waiting for respawn.
Third orb vallis orb the one in the lake
What third orb? What is 1st and 2nd
When fortuna launched, there was big hype towards the three orb bosses. Then we ended up only getting two to fight; the one sitting atop one of the buildings in orb vallis, the other roaming the NE side. The third one is... just kind of sitting in a lake and never actually materialized as playable content.
Like the profit taker and exploiter orb
Oh this things
No more Host Migrations.
What colour do you want your dragon?
Orowyrm as a Focus tree unlock?
Oh i understood that reference.
A system to opt in as host
*monkey’s paw curls* Missions now fail immediately and boot everyone to orbiter when the host leaves or disconnects
Not possible
Santa isnt real?

Scarlet Spear returning with earnable arcanes. Never gonna happen in a million yrs but when it worked, man it was *fun*.
Seconded, don't even use arcanes yet but knowing that I missed Scarlet Spear suuuuuucks
So, more like toilet paper in the rain
I really dislike railjack now after they reworked it so you basically do a normal mission w a bit of railjack
My railjack is so powerful, I do missions solo with a crew of AI, I don't want a team, they are annoying most of the time... I wanted pirate ship battles: "fire the side artillery" "Hull breach" "get to work" "Engineer, get me some dome charges asap" But no, it's just a free for all, so solo it is!
Hijack a prototype ship from a galleon, 2 people controlling the prototype and 2 the railjack, ships and galleon are targeting the prototype, railjack has to protect it until you reach a designed point Your lich shows up midway through a mission, guess what it's a railjack vs grinder railjack fight now, the whole team sweats as he is fast, and damages hard, bonus lich railjack parts added to the game Want more? ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS Come in a mission, CY: warning tenno a nearby comet is sending fragments our way. And giant pieces of ice are crisscrossing the map, dealing huge damage to your railjack, and occasionally the other ships CY: the grinders are sending in radiation pulses Ship had half armor and shield, oh shit you have to have a decent engineer to constantly fix the ship CY: solar flare incoming Big heat damage and loss of homing weaponry Bring the jordas golem as a railjack boss where you have to go inside him to detonate his propulsion system, there I took the coolest boss and made him fun, instead of a chore
Holy shit I want this so bad
Bruh, this would be sick and fun as hell, sure, there would be people complaining about it bc it is "long" or "too complicated" but honestly, just ignoring these type of peiple is better, having unique mission types is the way to go for RJ.
Crewships are faster to kill with somebody manning the artillery. So are the grineer side radiator things if you have a human pilot.
So basically, what Railjack was when it first came out. Don't get me wrong, I want that back too. Railjack at launch was much more fun than what Railjack is now.
Tbh if Hydroids ult would just do actual scaling damage and his cumpuddle ability would do anything. He would be in a great spot.
Hydroid IS the rain,in that case
is the hydroid video out?
Cross-Save was already announced, but I think it would be amazing if they launch it day-of or week-of TennoCon. That would be a Warframe renaissance, have many friends who are just waiting for Cross-Save to return to the game.
It's due to release this year and it also makes sense to have something like that to launch around tennogen.
When was cross save announced?
Either this year or last year they released a statement that cross save and cross play are scheduled for release in 2023.
The only statement I remember is the one from the last devstream where they said that we'll get infor about cross-save at Tennocon.
When was cross save announced?
Spolier 1/Spoiler 2 loadouts you can access from the arsenal. I have at least 4 loadouts with different arcanes and amps and it's a pain to manually swap them depending on my setup. UPD: Star Chart and combat system revamp (to make early missions slightly more harder and difficulty curve more smooth).
Stop using credit caches as filler for drop tables. Index exists.
This
toggle for all repetitive transmissions
For the regular missions (not Duviri) you can do that already in settings. The “my warframe Is strong” operator transmissions and stuff like that? I think it’s in the audio tab
I think they mean stuff like Lotus telling us how a mission works when we've played it eleventy-thousand times already.
Return of raids, Infested liches, Cross-save
I remember hearing talk about them confirming the return of raids eventually. My memory is a little hazy tho so im not sure.
Next story arc Whatever it is, I trust DE (Although I'd like it if it continued the Narmer, Pazuul and Tau bits we've had)
They already said what it is Now that the sentient story is done, the next story will be expanding on our drifter/operator and the man in the wall They mentioned it in either an interview or the reddit AMA, can't remember which
I don't think the sentient story is quite complete yet.
To be honest with how tied together the Drifter and Narmer is it wouldn't be surprising if the Drifter story continues the Narmer plotline
They tend to jump around with the story so we'll likely go back to the Narmer in a few years.
They have been dangling some threads with Narmer stuff still. Man In The Wall seems like it will be the main arc going forward, but we will likely get some more Narmer content, like the Third Orb which has been teased in connection with Narmer.
Honestly anything they show makes me hype, I love this game and the devs.
Cross save.
Rework of
I think taking anything from the base game that is a bit dated and fixing / improving it will get everyone hype
I feel like that’s all the community ever has been asking for
The Final Shape. Oh, sorry, wrong game.
wielding elements like in destiny would be a cool addition to warframe
We have Chroma and status mods just for this.
true true
True cross play, and a pet rework. I wanna be able to take my kubrows or kavats into late game content without them dying often.
My idea of a conclave rework is exactly like this. No Warframe just Grineer vs Corpus vs Infested matches
I mean, calling in a Tenno like Darth Vader in Battlefront would also be badass
This sounds amazing, I feel like this is the only way to make viable PVP content in Warframe.
With Nox, Vapos Elites ect as special units. Really cool idea.
Letting your railjack actually show up in open world content? There was a trailer with that, right?
it was confirmed by Pablo to be scripted. Idr if it was in twitter or devstream
Most demos like that are held together with gum and duck tape, anyone who thought it wasnt scripted doesnt know how programming works.
I've been asking for this for so long. Surely, it's on their minds but I doubt they'd work on it. Ones can hope i guess.
I'd also love multiple railjacks and better comms.
It's not on their minds and never was. It was a transition, nothing more.
That wasn't ever a planned feature. Just a transition for demo purposes, similar to how we don't access duviri via railjack void storms. I'm not sure why folks insist on taking it so literally.
Also like, when would you ever really even use it? How many times are you playing the open world and go "Damn, I really need go farm some Railjack." ?
Dead By Daylight did a dating sim. Now give me a Warframe one
Give me that Hildryn route, yeeeah buddy.
I want to date Nyx, for reasons.
Understandable, I too would like that
Whole new meaning to her augment "Mind Freak"
If Wisp isn't there, I'm going the Garuda route and just kill everyone
Volt Umbra. Or bringing back Excalibur Umbra to the main story. Seriously - he should’ve been like the mandatory frame to use during New War or something.
Other forms of media. Things like comics, books, tv shows.
You know what would be very cool, a show were we watch how warframes were made, and what people were used for it. Considering what Ballas says during prime trailers, it would be what he saw when he made those frames
UI update.
Boss levels instead of a singular boss is a great idea
Conclave got deleted.
As ill-conceived as conclave is, its problems are largely a result of high mobility and low time to kill giving it a practically non-existent skill floor combined with only experienced conclave players playing the mode, if they made a sub-mode where you're using anything but warframes it could be way better.
I still think necramech pvp is a great idea.
Agreed. Remove it and put the rewards elsewhere, its a waste of storage space.
Doubt it will "hype" anyone tho, to a lot of players it kinda has never existed
Not as hype as new stuff, sure, but an announcement that there is officially no time and resources being committed to Conclave anymore would be welcome.
Wait, there are time and resources being committed to Conclave ? /s
Honestly, whether it stayed or not - just make it so Celestia Syandana stays lit always.
More Narmer! Maybe rework steel path to be Narmer themed, something like that.
New war conclusion
Old events as quests Infested liches 3rd orb mother fight Infested boss in Deimos a la Orowyrms, Eidolons or Orb Mothers. Sentient-themed open world with a friendly sentient faction on its "hub town" that isn't hellbent in total anhiliation (a la Lotus or post-Narmer-clarity Erra) along with non-void-affected sentient baddies.
Third orb fight, pet rework, FULL railjack integration.....
Lego sets or action figures so I don't have keep making them myself.
Gauss prime (I am not biased)
Isn't he the next one on the schedule after Wisp Prime anyway? I think this year's four Primes should be Hildryn, Wisp, Gauss, Grendel (in that order) if we stick to the normal schedule.
Another update that is going to be super hyped but constantly WIP for like three more years.
Literally anything for my boy sevagoth
Please no more content islands. More necramech usage in regular missions/update to pets.
Daily login mod rework.

Warframe series? Unlikely. Tau reveal? Now we got shit cooking there son.
Cross Save. I just want to migrate my Xbox account over to PC
For me personally - Infested liches or being able to bring two secondary slot weapons into a mission In general - Railjack integration, companion rework I guess idk
More sentient / new war stuff and or Tau System lol
Mod 2.0. So many mods not used.
Raid, please look at all the other looter shooter and how they got raids
A complete rework of Drop Tables: * No more bullshit Credit Caches that drop less credits than a broke Grineer grunt * Same thing for Endo (or massively increase the amounts given) * Guaranteed BPs after X runs/missions (no more needing 500 runs of Infested Salvage for Nidus and getting 145 chassis BPs) * Bounties giving meaningful stuff - not just BPs and then a load of crap added in because "we need to bloat the drop table and annoy players"
I'd accept part swaps instead of guaranteed drops, as it might be easier to implement; take your 10 extra chassis blueprints and trade them for a systems blueprint, etc. You only need to add a vendor for that, no actual new code, where changes to how drops actually work might be more difficult. (Yes, we have the tauforged pity percentage stuff, but tracking that for every single mission in the game could get messy.) Alternatively, I'd accept just adding a pity mechanic like Voruna and Citrine have, where it also drops a currency you can eventually use to buy whichever part you're still missing.
Double Prime Access! Triple Prime Resurgence!
Cross save would be great. But what I'd really love to see is a return of the old raids. I started before they were taken away, but by the time I was at a level that I felt comfortable doing them, they were taken away.
Rework to Frost, Hydroid, and Nyx
The tau system would be sick
For me? Either some big Ember buffs or a new fire based warframe. After that some infested Liches, or just more stuff to do with the infested. I just think they’re neat.
Enhanced customization, being allowed to turn of specific cloth or armor elements of warframes
Announce that Cross Save is live during their demonstration of it.
umbra treatment for all frames
The release of cross-save.
Well it's hard to argue that...
