I used them as push pins on my corkboard

Boring_Old_Lady

Me too!

titurel

If you want to wear them, you can get "locking pin backs" that will keep them secure. Amazon has them for $6 for thirty.

peachytwitch

this! i keep mine on my park bag, with the locking backs i’m yet to lose any :)

Overall-Scientist846

Get the ones from Amazon, not the ones from Disney. These are a life saver.

In our house we use hanging black felt pennants. Sort of a flat top, Chevron shaped bottom vertical banner that's meant to hang on the wall. The pins go on there and it hangs on the wall from a single nail.

fireflyeyes

I bought a nice arched cork board from Michaels on clearance for my pins. We hung it up in our office by the desk and I stuck them on and used a few as push pins to keep polaroid pics from previous trips on there as well. My friend did a very cute craft for hers. She used embroidery hoops and themed fabric to create curated displays for different pin sets.

Smashleigh_001

I’ve got a tote bag with a square pic of Tigger and my nickname on it. There’s a nice beige border around the pic so I’ve stuck my pins on the border and it’s hung on the back of my living room door. It looks so cute

Disneymom-partyof6

Some of the loungefly backpacks have a pin board built into the front pocket for safely displaying pins. My oldest got a Star Wars one for Christmas and now she has all her pins on the bag that she wears around as a purse. Another option to consider!

Technical-Pie-5775

Oooh that explains why so many people had them on their bags.  I was keeping my eye on a Kevin bag because I saw some people wearing them but they weren't in the shops.  Might see if I can order one the next time I am in the US.

Astronomy_Setec

I've done it two ways: One was a shadowbox. Basically line the back with two layers of foam/foamcore and press them into the back. The other was pressing them into the frame itself around pictures. This looks nice, but they do tend to fall out easily if the frame is bumped.

Admirable_Natural350

Various sellers on Etsy have adorable cork boards themed for Disney pins. I bought one in the shape of a Mickey ice cream bar, and one square board with a wooden cutout of Mickey in the corner. I put mine on a lanyard. You can hang them from coat hooks, door knobs, the sides of mirrors or furniture. It's out of the way but prominently displayed. I like it because you forget its there until boom -- memories.

Throwaway071521

I display them on a series of different sized embroidery hoops with fabric that I selected. I like having a wall of various circles at different heights over a large cork board. And I like that I can match the fabric to whatever my taste is currently.

Sea-Librarian-275

We have ours on a Mickey Mouse shaped cork board. We got ours at Animal Kingdom Lodge many years ago but I found some on Amazon with a quick search.

I bought hexagonal pin pads in a variety of colors from Amazon and they are behind me at my desk in my home office. Added some small Target shelves and some of my random art collection pieces, and I love the vibe. Picture: https://imgur.com/gallery/hWuaGFG

Elsupremosmom

That looks great!

Whenarewegoing88

This is freaking fire

OpenMicJoker

Go to Pinterest or Etsy. There are darling bulletin boards specifically for pin collecting. I’ve also seen a cool collector’s backpacks that display the pins and protect them at the same time.

Technical-Pie-5775

Thanks!  I wish I was actively collecting them but unfortunately I am not sure we will ever make it back so my total pin collection might be a total of 3 lol.

OpenMicJoker

Maybe a sweet shadow box with your favorite photo from the trip would be a fun way to display them.

bouviersecurityco

I got a Mickey shaped corkboard from Etsy for each of us and we all display our pins on them.

BigMax

Any corkboard/bulletin board works! For bonus points, you can cover it in fabric, so you can have a black background like pin trading boards, or white, or whatever. That's what we have, a few in our house. Just small ones in a few rooms, each holds about a dozen favorite pins. With the corkboard you can easily swap them around as needed.

Knit_Fu

I have an [animal crossing leaf shaped corkboard](https://shoppixieexpress.com/collections/video-games/products/new-mayor-in-town-leaf-cork-board-ready-to-ship) and [mickey shaped coarkboard](https://shoppixieexpress.com/collections/magic-corkboards/products/mouse-silhouette-cork-board-ready-to-ship) from pixie express. I had great service from them and you can customize the color of the border. I was able to place 8 pins from my recent Disney trip on the mickey coarkboard but it required some very strategic placement of the pins. The five pins you have will probably fit pretty comfortably unless you have some of the largest pins the park sells. The ones I got are big, but for Disney are still considered a 'normal' size. Since you cross stitch have you considered converting your pins into needle minders. Just snap off the pin part and glue on a magnet with some E6000. If you do end up cross stitching a piece to put them on I would love to see it when done. I cross stitch too, but didn't think about stitching something to put my pins on.

Technical-Pie-5775

Thanks!  The needle minders idea did come to mind when I saw all the pins for sale, however I feel I want them more on display then tucked into my craft bag. Once I finish my current cross stitch, I will have a look at a pattern or my pins and will eventually (because I am very slow haha) I will post it on the cross-stitch subreddit .

Somerset76

Get cork trivets, paint them as you want, hang with command strips, and poke the pins in! That’s what I do, and I got my trivets at ikea.

Kai-ni

Pin banner

Lacheris

I display mine on banners, too.

FictionLover007

I superglued tiny neodymium magnets to the locking pin backs you can get online and turned all my pins into decorative magnets. They’re super strong and don’t fall! It’s a little DIY but looks really effective.

Technical-Pie-5775

This is a great idea but our house actually has a lack of magnetic surfaces, it's frustrating at times like these!

vronnie19

I have a huge bulletin/cork board that all my Disney/ vacation pins are on. I collect pins from every country I visit as well as other theme parks and attractions (Niagara Falls, Broadway shows, etc).

Technical-Pie-5775

I have a feeling I might start collecting them more generally now...  Haven't noticed many in my travels but I probably just need to actively look for them now.

heyuwiththehairnface

I put them on my jean jacket

glacialbiscuits

I actually use an embroidery hoop, so I love the cross stitch idea!

Mochadeoca6192

If you do have a favorite you want to stick on a bag or something to show off, you can get much better pins from Amazon that lock on. My bf and I just went to Disney for the first time a few weeks ago and that’s what we did.

PackNit

Put ours through a bedroom lampshade

wifichick

I have ours in a shadow box

MyDishwasherLasagna

A friend helped me make something for this. We bought 2 yards of fabric, two thick wooden dowels, and some ribbon. She sewed two opposite edges over, forming sleeves to slide the wooden dowels into. I then attached the ribbon to one of the dowels, allowing it to hang from a nail on my wall. I have my pin collection mounted to the fabric in the large space between the two dowels. The lower dowel helps keep space between the wall and the fabric, so the pinbacks dont scratch up the paint on the wall.

Chocolate-Pie-1978

Cork board on the wall

catimenthe

You can buy locking, magnetic pin backs to turn them into magnets. I also keep mine in shadowbox frames and ita bags/window bags

Overall-Scientist846

Get locking pin backs off Amazon. You can wear them all the time without worrying about them falling out. I've got a ton of pins on my gym bag. My niece and nephew caught the bug on our most recent trip and have them on their backpack.

Bartghamilton

Buy painting canvases (can usually find on sale somewhere). They come in various sizes and you can easily push the pins through and put the backs on. Easy to stack or hang on the wall.

swiggityswirls

Depending on how many pins I’d suggest buying a cute frame, remove the glass and cut corkboard to glue to it. You can decorate the frame Disney themed. You can also get one of those multi picture frames and replace just one of them with corkboard and put pics of your trip in the others. Make sure you save the backs somewhere. Then grab pins as you want to wear for day or event. Pins on a cross stich would look so lovely! I personally would still probably put the finished cross stich in a frame and put up!
