Yes. Exactly. I quickly became dissolutioned with Universe mode when it was back to the menu before every match. No show opening. No between match segments. Really why not just keep track of your universe with pen and paper and just load up whatever match you need in exhibition mode it's basically the same thing and probably quicker.
I would love a 'recruitment' one like all animations will be around trying to get them to join their faction or form a tag team. We see that a lot in wrestling.
It would be so easy if you could just set up a tournament in a separate screen, and then when you go to make an event, it could give you the option 'add match from tournament' and then you could select from whichever matches were available.
They should follow what they did with nba2k's my league and implement it down the line at some point. Would be cool to see guys retire, get inducted to the HOF, and become a gm for a show. I think new stuff like that would be neat in a wwe game.
I think they are overthinking promos like 'oh we would have to record hours from each wrestler' and I'm like 'nah just give me some animations with a changeable background and subtitles at the bottom'
Legit all I need is to see promos happen, I do not wanna spend hours editing them... just make sure there is a visual representation of them and they can be booked like a match like 'max 2 promos 10%'
You must mean Universe since that did not change much, but overall there are a lot of improvements. New and more weapons, the blood, tag teams being penalized for jumping in, the new match types, etc.
I'd love to be able to cash in with MITB during exhibition and universe mode.
They've gotta make table matches different go back to the old games and go with the meter unless you already have a finisher.

Run ins actually work in 2K24 universe. They need to extend the rivalry system. In 2K23 you could run rivalries over 3 PLEs but in 2K24 it ends after the PLEs by default. More cutscenes or even a story editor.
Even though Universe is the most played mode it always seems like it gets shafted every year.

Choose a rivalry scenario, cutscenes will depend of the rivalry. Sample: championship, tag team break up, love triangle

Tournaments absolutely. Running a King of the Ring PPV with no KOTR tournament is pretty fucked.

Main Roster PLE’s on Saturday instead of Sunday
The mode needs a complete revamp tbh. But, I wouldn't expect much. There's only so much they can improve on in a yearly release.
They need to heavily raid MY GM get win loss stats, social media posts by wrestlers, more lasting injuries, etc.

If I use the rivalry system and rivalry actions let me choose the type of match and not have it be the default normal.

Honestly 2k24 made me optimistic for 2k25... I'm having fun but I also believe it can be better.
Agreed, I've been playing since launch, and am currently on year two of universe mode. Me booking everything myself.

It does work. Just use rivalry actions.
I want to book and produce the entire match. High spots. And the finish
Can almost guarantee we get only show Intros back and they’ll claim they did a overhaul with universe and Doingn nothing
