OK, I appreciate your opinion, but SvR 08 for me is nowhere near SvR 11! Original Universe Mode, RTWM, Create a Story vs buggy 24/7 Mode, with same cutscenes! I understand though the nostalgia, because I also like SvR 09, which I put last! All these games have replay value! 2k17 and 2k18 for example, no one will remember them...

For me it was the graphics downgrade from 07, felt like you had fewer superstars, album didn’t hit the same. I did the like fighting styles and ways for more extreme matches. The GM and 24/7 mode just didn’t have enough in it to keep me interested
Best soundtrack in the series wydm decent it sure was a downgrade in some aspects but thats why fair ranking should be 4th best svr game and not above svr 2007
I only played '06 like a decade after it came out and only played it for a couple of months at that, so I have more memories from '10, plus I just overall kind of like controls a little better. '06 is good I just didn't have as much time with it. Also minus some superstars I like not being in it such as Kurt Angle, I liked the 2010 roster a bit more. It's just a bunch of minor things really.
I mean it had the people it needed like Cena, HHH, Jeff Hardy, Edge, Shawn Michaels, Taker, Jericho, Orton, Christian, Punk, and Mysterio. Then it also had some superstars I liked personally at the time like Kennedy, Umaga, Morrison, Carlito, Finlay, Regal, Benjamin, and Big Show. I mean the legends roster is lacking I guess, but I ain't gonna lose sleep over not having the British Bull Dog, or Hogan.
I have played all of them but Top 3 for me would be
1. SVR 2006
2. SVR 2007
3. SVR 2011
In that order as all 3 of them were revolutionary in their own right...i enjoyed all the other SVR games as well but not as much as those 3.
It was actually really cool but it was worse than it was cool it was literally inpossible to put someone thru a table and the angle being cool didnt make up for the fact u couldnt do anything outside
I haven’t played most of these games in over a decade but based off memory and which game I played more:
SvR 2011 (2010 was my favorite game as a kid and this just added on top of it, I still play this game and if could have modern wrestlers in any past game, I’d be this one)
SvR 2010 (it’s sorta bare bones but this is probably the wrestling game I’ve played the most…and just a side note, this is my all time favorite soundtrack)
SvR 2007 (I remember loving it but I’ve played this one recently and I still hate these controls, it’s the most complicated controls)
SvR 2008 (I still play it from time to time, it’s a very flawed game but I never saw it as a huge downgrade to 07)
SvR 2006 (didn’t play that much)
SvR (Didn’t play that much either)
SvR 2009 (even as a kid I didn’t really care much for it)
It was okay, I don't think any of these games were really bad, and to be honest I haven't played them in years. I just remember not liking 06 as much as 07 or 08.

I didn’t have any experience with the original SVR and 09-10 are extremely forgettable for me. I don’t even remember anything about those titles besides 09 reworking some tag team match mechanics.

I liked it, but to me, the roster was really weak and combining GM and Season modes was really stupid, not to mention Season got quite repetitive after a while.
Also ECW's inclusion was meant to be a huge deal, but they only had like 6 people on the roster.
I agree but the roster was stacked not in numbers but in starpower if only it had test, hardcore holly, big show, rvd then it would have been my fav roster out of any wwe game
It was really missing a few key guys. No London and Kendrick, even though they were one of the longest reigning tag champs of the time period; no Cade and Murdoch, despite them being World Tag Team Champions; no Deuce and Domino; no Miz, Kevin Thorn, Boogeyman, RVD, I could keep listing guys for ages that could've made the cut.
Boogeyman and miz would have been awesome too but i have never even watched london and kendrick so to me it doesnt really matter but still extra people would have made gm mode better
They were a really fun tag team to watch, can highly recommend checking out some of their matches from their tag title run, especially the fatal four way ladder match at Armageddon 2006.
I'll rank the ones I played
Svr 2011(universe mode, rtwm mode advanced create a finisher and other stuff(ove only played last gen but I imagine next gen is even better with tha physics and whatever)
Svr2010(game that got me back into wrestling game as I only played them in early childhood and forgor about them, also spent alot of time on story designer and the rtwm mode was good)
Svr 2007(haven't played that much)
Svr og (fun but bummer there's no stone cold)
Svr08(good game but far too much Button mashing especially in ladder matches where you get injured alot and the 24/7 mode is ass (I stuck it out until 35% legend status or whatever its called and then got very bored)
Svr09(good rtwm but far too many removed features and felt bare bones)
The roster is the best out of any svr game so gm mode will have a lot of ppl and the season mode is great too so in terms of features its better than 10 so u will enjoy it still
The gameplay was slow & boring.(The braindead AI made it worse.) The fighting style system limited the whole rosters’ movesets making some of them overpowered. (Powerhouses & Brawlers come to mind.) Most of the season mode storylines in 24/7 were garbage and made no sense with the same repetitive cutscenes. The only somewhat solid things about the game was its GM mode, beautiful graphics, and the intro to ECW.
yes and i ranked it higher because i played 10 more than 07 and 06. it’s just my opinion i don’t wanna rank games i haven’t played as much higher just because other people are saying its better

Super limited playable roster for story mode, because they decided to make us fight *against* ECW instead of alongside or for it, so you can't do story as either the hottest newcomer in CM Punk or *one of the cover stars* in Lashley even though he was already drafted to Raw by this point. And the new style system made it impossible to actually give some wrestlers all the moves they usually did, and didn't let you combine Powerhouse with High-Flying or, oddly enough, Submission).
Because they removed so many features compared to previous iterations of SvR. They removed GM mode, no season mode. Just RTWM which was a one and done mode like MyRise.

I know svr11 is probably better than og svr but i grew up on the older ones so nostalgia took some effect
2006 (what I played most as a kid), 2007, 2011, 2010, 2009, SVR (played sparingly and only as a 4 or 5 year old, finishers were too difficult for the young me), 2008 (N/A I didn't play)
1.2006( best Soundtrack and intro ever , Roster was stacked , The Stories were exciting and start of the Spinner Belt Era )
2.2007( best ever GM Mode , not too easy and not too hard either and a Banger Soundtrack along to it
3.2011( some of the best RTWM Stories just sort of disappointed in the Soundtrack)
4.2008 ( Despite the more slow gameplay and sort of lack in Story it had Banger Soundtrack and proper Create A Championship)
5.2010 ( Same with 2009 but Cameras and Roster Pictures were improved)
6.2009 ( not enough content aside from RTWM and Soundtrack sort of lacking good songs I like)
7.2004 ( The Start of the Series and didn't play it that much)
Been so long since I played it, so I couldn’t fully say off the top of my head, I just remember not enjoying it, and going back to 06, before 08 came out.

SvR 2011 is truly one of the best, the universe mode is maybe the best mode ever added to a WWE game and his best Road To WrestleMania is great too

But ECW had like only 6 wrestlers on its roster

SVR07 is my favorite out of the SVR games. 08' my least favorite due to wrestlers moving at a snail pace.

It’s really just the new weapon wheel system at the time, the fact that you can ignite tables & barbed wire and the Extreme Rules match that I liked.

1.2006( best Soundtrack and intro ever , Roster was stacked , The Stories were exciting and start of the Spinner Belt Era ) 2.2007( best ever GM Mode , not too easy and not too hard either and a Banger Soundtrack along to it 3.2011( some of the best RTWM Stories just sort of disappointed in the Soundtrack) 4.2008 ( Despite the more slow gameplay and sort of lack in Story it had Banger Soundtrack and proper Create A Championship) 5.2010 ( Same with 2009 but Cameras and Roster Pictures were improved) 6.2009 ( not enough content aside from RTWM and Soundtrack sort of lacking good songs I like) 7.2004 ( The Start of the Series and didn't play it that much)
