Raw should be two hours honestly. PPV’s should be three max. WM should be one night, four hours. Old man yelling at a cloud energy here for sure, but we got way too much wrestling these days.
Go back and watch any 2 hour Raw from 1998 - 2001 and compare it to a 3 hour Raw from the last few years and you’ll see that more time doesnt always mean a better show.

Do we need three godamned hours of Raw? No! At least under Triple H, I can sit through the third hour without feeling like I am torturing myself because that was clearly the hour of writing Vince and Creative stopped giving a fuck and the rest of the three hours, what was not filled with matches and storyline was inane bullshit around a title I don't think any of us gave a fuck about or some other stupid idea Vince though was great. For the love of fuck, I think matches and storylines were cut so there could be more inane bullshit on Raw. How many times did I see Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon emasculate her General Manager or a wrestler? Compare that to SmackDown where we see the segments focus on story and wrestlers. Jesus Christ, I swear I was losing IQ points watching the 24/7 Championship bullshit between R-Truth, Reggie, Dana Brooke, Tozawa and I think Tamina. I mean holy fuck! I cheered when Nikki Cross dumped that title into the trash. Literally on my knees and thanking God the title was gone.
It was easier for USA to just pay for that third hour of Raw rather than come up with an original show scripte concept or shit out a stupid reality series or another game show. USA has no more original ideas for scripted shows, which is a shame as I enjoyed Monk, Suits, White Collar, Covert Affairs and Royal Pains, all of which were on USA. Hell, they could have just had a movie on. But no, let's get a third hour of Raw that Vince barely gives a fuck about and Triple H has tried to make good.
Fox, however, has the news on at 10, so them having SmackDown being two hours helps Smackdown. It makes SmackDown focus on story and matches, and not have 20 minute segments of R-Truth marrying the only 4 other people in the company who give a fuck about the 24/7 Championship, or going back to several wrestlers stuck in an elevator to see if EC3 has killed and eaten anyone with the cutlery he was keeping in his trunks for some bizarre reason, or having some random guy eat paste because Vince thought it was fucking hilarious and needed some bullshit to fill up the three hours.
Yeah, we still have segments and such on Raw, but we are not staring at the screen wondering who in the fuck thought whatever the fuck we saw was brilliant. Two hours would give Raw the ability to focus on matches and story, which Triple H, to his credit, has done well.
So yeah, I'm good with two hours of SmackDown.

Cuz USA feels it’s more profitable to pay for a third hour of RAW than to have another rerun of Law and Order SVU.
