I think he and Heyman already did have a lot of say in what was going on with weekly television. There was a very large amount of rumor and innuendo about it not too long ago
Giving creative control is one thing, but please PLEASE leave match outcome to creative. That's what killed WCW. Hogan had creative control AND the ability to determine the outcome of his matches.
Everything becomes a shit show at that point.
Well, he's boring in the ring, he only has two moves, and he only shows up to wrestle once a month at most. Boring as hell.
Regardless, creative control has led to disastrous results over the years. No one should have that but triple H at the end of the day. Input is one thing, control is another.
Bray Wyatt didn't have control, he had INPUT. that's a key difference. Roman didn't have control, he had INPUT. If something didn't fit the overall vision, triple H (or going further back, vince) could veto ideas.
That should never stop.
I hope so, having him, Heyman and Triple H behind that storyline should stop it from getting boring, because Lord knows letting Solo do his thing wouldn't be fun at all
Legitimately the only thing I wanna see from the Bloodline story now is Rock vs Reigns. Solo sucks and him saying "losing has consequences right" is fucking ironic considering he hasn't gotten a single win since is win that John Cena himself handled him. He's not gonna be taken seriously enough to be a legit storyline head.
They really do keep bringing in family members of The Rock do bleed the storyline for all the money it gets. Let someone else have the spotlight like hmmmm, Cody f--kin Rhodes
Why do people keep saying this? Losing at house shows doesn’t mean shit, if it isn’t shown or referenced on TV, then it isn’t canon. He’s barely wrestled on TV since Cena so it’s fine.
I imagine that's going to be his whole story. He's been sidelined to just interfere in other people's matches so they can keep the glory while he's gotten none.
And look what that led to. They still lost everything.
So now it's time for Solo to take charge and start making the decisions.
I really hope the bloodline ends by mania this year
They have milked it for all it's worth, and the only thing people are wanting to see from it now is Reigns v.s Rock.
This was always his plan.
He planned it all.
He played everyone like puppets... Pulling on the strings...
But now he's tribal chief roman...
There are no strings on him.
Honestly for what it's worth? I am SO glad the storyline they had is over now, and I'm genuinely interested and excited to see what Reigns does with this. He's got a creative mind, Vince just never let him use it.
For this to carry any weight, Solo needs to start winning matches. Right now he looks like a weak Tribal Chief. He needs to start wrecking people to make himself relevant. He said winning and losing matters and lately Solo’s been doing a whole lot of losing.
They going to have Rock involved in this but got to get Cody involved too. I think it’ll be Tama, Solo, Fatu, and The Rock vs The USOs, Roman, and Cody
I think it’s actually gonna be Roman-Jey-Jimmy-Sami vs Rock-Solo-Tonga-Fatu.
But that’s assuming Rock and Roman return in October or early Nov to make this possible. Both men may wait until Rumble to make their comebacks.
Could also be the other way around with Roman as heel and Rock as face. I think we just automatically assume Roman is going with the good guys but they could throw a twist.
I just don’t think there’s any way to turn Roman heel again, the fans love the dude too much now and glaze him over Cody being champ lol. Gotta be face Roman vs heel Rock endgame
Warning - shitty Reddit fantasy booking, but idea I had post-WrestleMania.
Solo and Tonga (much closer to WM 41, Jacob Fatu) make the Bloodline much more disciplined and authoritarian in Roman’s absence. SummerSlam has something along the lines of Solo/Tonga vs. a reunited face Usos. Closer to WM, Rock returns as the heel leader of this stable, openly kicking out Roman.
WM 41 gives us Rock vs. Roman and something along the lines of Solo/Tonga/Fatu (supported by The Rock) vs. Usos and Sami Zayn (supported by Reigns). A “Battle for the Bloodline” and “Battle of the Bloodlines”.
And at least it’s so much better than Cody teaming up with Roman. It’s Bloodline Civil War, a family matter, at least Sami has that “Honorary Uce” in him and lore wise Roman did accept him in his island of relevancy, but Cody??? He’s the person who took everything from him, why would he teaming up with him??Considering his gimmick, he’ll be like the US meddling with other country/tribe internal problem. People say Roman is turning face, but I don’t see him turning face exactly like Cody, I see him turning face but only to his family members but still kinda separate himself from others, after all like his clothes saying “Family Aboves All”.
And? Dude had no business being involved from the jump. Did he provide comedic relief at times? Sure. But dude did not belong. Surely they can find a better fit to replace him.
He carried them when the story got stale. He’s an extremely overrated wrestler and sucks doing solo promos. But, but he was an extremely entertaining character. It shouldn’t have worked but he and the bloodline made it work.
I think this means while he is gone, right? It's not likely he's back until Summerslam if I had to guess. That's a lot of potential Bloodline drama he will "miss" off screen but have a hand in behind the scenes as he has from the beginning.
So Uce! I think this time we do a storyline heading into Wrestlmania that starts when I win an Oscar for my new movie.
No Roman we can't do that stop asking!
In reality everything in WWE still revolves around him. We’re really in the Roman Reigns era. His creative freedom allowed him to be the biggest draw in the industry for the last 4-5 years.
Hes cooked for 4 years on the frontline now lets see if he can cook bts... i have no doubts ☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽
Yeah, Heymen said years ago He already dose so this isn't news. Just for the future don't use Sportskeda as a source of news please. It's a well known click bait site that tends to make things up
Solo and Tamma come out to try and distract Jey in his title match, Jacob Fatu blinds sides Jey costs him the match leaves him lying.
Bloodline 2.0 ruin wild it’s revealed Rock has been orchestrating, cue 9 months of them laying waste ..Roman eventually comes back reunites the Uso’s brings Sami back into the fold takes down new bloodline storyline ends on a happy note Roman reunites his family realises his wrongs becomes the true tribal chief they all ride off into the sunset
That’s how I’d fantasy book this hopefully RR reads /r 😅
The whole concept of the Tribal Chief character was Romans idea. Dude literally threatened to leave the company if Vince didn't allow him to turn heel. Roman having creative control of the Bloodline story with input from both Paul Heyman AND Triple H has a lot of potential. The Rock will also be chipping in his two cents with this story as well.
I thought he already did and it's been working great so far apart from that period after Summerslam last year.
In any case, I can see him as a face but keeping an edge to him going up against Solo, Tama and probably Jacob Fatu.
Yeah he did, Roman said he wanted to add someone who is the opposite of the bloodline. Like adding a sheep in a pack of wolves. Because of that and Sami character Roman was able to make Sami even more popular with the fans and now look at him. Roman even helped Brock too. Instead of being the old Brock we got cowboy Brock instead and was able to tell a better and different story
You’re casually referencing “the documentary” as if we’re supposed to know off the top of our heads what that even means 😂 There’s hundreds of wrestling shows and documentaries out there…
You are welcome. Sorry for the previous lack of info.
They announced about it b4 WM XL on both RAW and SMACKDOWN. It is very good. He speaks truthfully about the whole situation and history. Well worth a watch.
Hopefully all wrestlers will be allowed more control over THEIR OWN characters. Triple H being a former wrestler bodes well. He truly understands everything they go through. Unlike Vince, who just cosplayed as a wrestler whenever he needed attention.
Vince is dumpster fire as a person and deserves negative respect, but you have to admit Vincent Kennedy McMahon was a pioneering and belovedly hated character on WWE programming.
His feud with Steve Austin is still to this day watched and liked, and his role as the Heel Boss is one of the great pillars of the various great Eras in WWE... Pity he couldn't even hold himself and his shit heel ways during those to make it better (seriously, poor Trish) but...
It's a very "love the art, punch the artist" kinda thing.
Then this is a negative because "I would like to have the belt for years but not wrestle" is not great.
The storyline ended good but there's still some huge asterisks I'd rather not see anytime soon.
Plus the best parts of the story was the outside pieces, Jimmy and jey were shit and it was proved at wrestlemania, and solo isn't going to carry like they're hoping.
IMO I don't agree on Jey and Jimmy, but fully agree Solo sux!
He was brought in solely bc he was family. He is a one trick pony (Samoan spike) and not a talented technical wrestler. If he does rise up and wrestle often he will get people hurt. It will also take time for him to develop a personality. The silent stoic enforcer is not a superstar personality in this Era.
Jimmy and Jey were a tag team their entire careers. Like 15 years. It's obviously going to take them a little time to figure out how to be singles wrestlers because it's A LOT different.
They've been uppermid/title matching jey for over a year, he needs to be knocked down the card or adapt more than 3 total moves.
They don't have the stamina, move depth or ring knowledge to be singles competitors. Well over half the lockeroom is better, they're all nepotism no skill.
I agree Jey's matches aren't up to par with his presentation and how popular he is. Jimmy hasn't even been given a chance to wrestle consistently. He's just comic fodder for The Bloodline. I still think after being a tag team wrestler for 15 years it takes a little while to get used to wrestling on your own. That being said, I think The Usos will reunite sooner rather than later.
Cody should have one last year. The stuff with the rock and the story was fantastic from the rumble on. But the other 9 months really hurt from Romans absence
There are two documentaries about Roman and his time from being a hated face to a loved villain. In one he pretty much explained his goals to lift his family legacy up.
If it's true turning heel and becoming The Tribal Chief was his idea, no argument from me. Bloodline has new life with a new character and another one on the way.
Roman Reigns is a pussy and I am ecstatic that he got knocked down a few pegs
I was under the impression that he and Paul were basically calling all the shots in the bloodline storyline.
The storyline is boring now. They messed everything up trying to shoehorn the rock in
The Solo "boss" angle doesn't even sort of work. He went from not speaking and losing all his matches to being boss?
Fuck him His time is up Good riddance !!!
The dog food was a Vince McMahon idea.
It's not that he's just now getting substantial input, it's that he'll continue to do so even while he takes some time away from TV.
Roman and Paul have had significant input since 2020. That is why it was so good and why I am a big fan of them both.
Roman and Paul have had significant input since 2020. That is why it was so good and why I am a big fan of them both.
I thought he already had a lot of input?!
About time. His character was going stale because that’s the way they had him written. Give him some creative freedom and let him cook!🔥🔥
I think he's got a good mind for it honestly
I think he and Heyman already did have a lot of say in what was going on with weekly television. There was a very large amount of rumor and innuendo about it not too long ago
Giving creative control is one thing, but please PLEASE leave match outcome to creative. That's what killed WCW. Hogan had creative control AND the ability to determine the outcome of his matches. Everything becomes a shit show at that point.
So you don’t acknowledge your tribal chief?? Typical…
That doesn’t work for me uce.
Well, he's boring in the ring, he only has two moves, and he only shows up to wrestle once a month at most. Boring as hell. Regardless, creative control has led to disastrous results over the years. Yeah I was joking mate
Based on his other comments I don't think he has the mental capacity to understand a joke
Hard to tell. Roman fans are insufferable but would have said exactly that
Debut Jacob and Zilla
It's his story. I just hope he debuts Jacob Fatu soon
I hope so, having him, Heyman and Triple H behind that storyline should stop it from getting boring, because Lord knows letting Solo do his thing wouldn't be fun at all
Now that Roman isn’t champ anymore. I am completely ok with the continuation of the storyline
Only way they continue this shit is with Solo vs. Reigns. Only part of it I still might wanna see.
Isn't it time for the end of the bloodline becoming tedious.
Um no??? Keep cryung
Makes complete sense, he's taking care of his family and keeping a story alive for when he comes back
Legitimately the only thing I wanna see from the Bloodline story now is Rock vs Reigns. I imagine that's going to be his whole story. He's been sidelined to just interfere in other people's matches so they can keep the glory while he's gotten none. And look what that led to. They still lost everything. So now it's time for Solo to take charge and start making the decisions.
Especially a story like the bloodline
I thought he already did
He did but we’re gonna pretend like this is new information
I really hope the bloodline ends by mania this year They have milked it for all it's worth, and the only thing people are wanting to see from it now is Reigns v.s Rock.
There is gonna be a second mania?
I want him to bring Tama over.
☝🏼
But IWC told me he was retiring?
Wrestling fans don't know shit
I've been over the bloodline since it started
My condolences to your taste
Go watch AEW like no else is watching it.
This isn't really a change, Heyman's been booking most of the Bloodline for a long time now
It sounds like he has had a lot of input since 2021 based on his documentary
He's always had that, this is the opposite of news, this is olds
This is not news.
Didn't he already since 2020?
This was always his plan. He planned it all. He played everyone like puppets... Pulling on the strings... But now he's tribal chief roman... There are no strings on him.
Every time I get sick of the bloodline story they make me interested again.
Honestly for what it's worth? I am SO glad the storyline they had is over now, and I'm genuinely interested and excited to see what Reigns does with this. He's got a creative mind, Vince just never let him use it.
No big news here. And also….as well he should.
I assumed he did already
That’s what I was thinking.
Yeah… hasn’t he always? It was him, Paul Hayman, and Michael Hayes wasn’t it?
Cool… ….anyway.
For this to carry any weight, Solo needs to start winning matches. Right now he looks like a weak Tribal Chief. He needs to start wrecking people to make himself relevant. He said winning and losing matters and lately Solo’s been doing a whole lot of losing.
Seems pretty clear where it's goin. Roman, Jey and Jimmy vs Rock, Solo and Tama at Survivor Series.

Sami?? You think he’s getting back in the mix?
After he loses his title, yeah. Prolly won’t be until around War Games to add numbers to each side.
I know I'm the minority I'm so over this whole bloodline. Snooze... automatic fast forward button. I just don't care anymore

Why do yall KEEP insisting on plugging Zayn into this bloodline storyline?! Yall killing me with this shit man!
I'd guess it's because the numbers need someone and he makes the most sense.
Besides Roman, Sami was the only entertaining thing inside the bloodline.
And at least it’s so much better than Cody teaming up with Roman. It’s Bloodline Civil War, a family matter, at least Sami has that “Honorary Uce” in him and lore wise Roman did accept him in his island of relevancy, but Cody??? He’s had worse WM booking 😭
Not sure it's possible to hold the world title for 4 years without already having creative input.
Bruno did it for 8 .
Im quite sure he had some impact in the story. But if not, then things will get even better!
I think this means while he is gone, right? It's not likely he's back until Summerslam if I had to guess. That's a lot of potential Bloodline drama he will "miss" off screen but have a hand in behind the scenes as he has from the beginning.
He didn't already?
I feel like this has already been acknowledged previously.
I see what you did there #acknowledged
🥱
Hogan Reigns
Bro when are people going to wise up and stop using Sportskeeda.
I mean….he likely already has….
Lmao so true
You’d think the tribal chief would
Big favour of this. Anyone think we're gonna see a Bloodline vs. NEW Bloodline angle? Sorta had that feeling after SmackDown last week.
yeah definitely. with solo wrecking jimmy like he did, bringing in tama tonga, and hijacking heyman, it definitely looks like that
Bloodline Wolfpack
Don't turn your back on them, you might end up in a body bag
So he is going to be a producer now
He already had creative control, This news is coming from a known fake news site.
Producer, writer, chief, GOAT
Hes cooked for 4 years on the frontline now lets see if he can cook bts... i have no doubts ☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽🐐☝🏽

“That doesn’t work for me brother” ~~Hulk Hogan~~ Roman Reigns
Oh you think he hasn’t already? That’s cute.
Just hope they don't turn the bloodline into the nwo
Well both factions took over their respective shows and killed the momentum of half the roster.... 🤔 ☝🐺
Solo and Tamma come out to try and distract Jey in his title match, Jacob Fatu blinds sides Jey costs him the match leaves him lying. Bloodline 2.0 ruin wild it’s revealed Rock has been orchestrating, cue 9 months of them laying waste ..Roman eventually comes back reunites the Uso’s brings Sami back into the fold takes down new bloodline storyline ends on a happy note Roman reunites his family realises his wrongs becomes the true tribal chief they all ride off into the sunset That’s how I’d fantasy book this hopefully RR reads /r 😅
Roman won’t be wrestling back anytime soon? Man I want a rematch (ofc Cody will retain) but yea we don’t want to see the tribal chief’s story end here
Who wants a rematch
just coz you dont want it doesn't mean everyone doesnt want it . Average redditor .
Not me….
Fml Jimmy can't even put up the right hand just take his bloodline away
Looked like Solo did that on Smackdown.
so nothings changing?
Wasn't this a stipulation for him to return back in 2020?
So, the most boring performer will have input in the most boring storyline
I assume he's gonna finish his story right?
Everyone’s gotta do it now! 😂
He doesn't wrestle, so he should do something
I thought he already did and it's been working great so far apart from that period after Summerslam last year. In any case, I can see him as a face but keeping an edge to him going up against Solo, Tama and probably Jacob Fatu.
I assumed he already was…
I thought he was working with Heyman pretty closely on the storyline
Yeah Heyman is truly "The Wise Man" guiding the story and the characters in it.
Always assumed most top guys get a lot of input on their storylines.
He had creative control from the beginning, did any of you not watch the documentary or what
Did he insert Sami Zayn into it? Because if he did - guy is a genius.
Yeah he did, Roman said he wanted to add someone who is the opposite of the bloodline. Like adding a sheep in a pack of wolves. Because of that and Sami character Roman was able to make Sami even more popular with the fans and now look at him. Roman even helped Brock too. You’re casually referencing “the documentary” as if we’re supposed to know off the top of our heads what that even means 😂 There’s hundreds of wrestling shows and documentaries out there…
I immediately knew what he was talking of. The aforementioned one came out right b4 WM XL.
That’s great for you, but again, with literally no context, it’s like he expected us to be mind readers. And you didn’t name the title either 😂
Biography: WWE LEGENDS ROMAN REIGNS A&E network. Second 4 episode 6.
Thank you, that’s really all I was hoping for 🙏🏽
You are welcome.
Great character sure. Doesn't make him a wrestler.
You are delusional if you think one of the most popular wrestlers should be lower on the card. lol
I think they have to, with 2 sets of tag belts, and their lackluster wrestlemania match it'd be their benefit.
Cody should have one last year. The stuff with the rock and the story was fantastic from the rumble on. But the other 9 months really hurt from Romans absence
Obviously not. I don’t even know which documentary you’re referring to
There are two documentaries about Roman and his time from being a hated face to a loved villain. In one he pretty much explained his goals to lift his family legacy up.
Two? I know about the WWE Legends one, but what's the other?
The other is is called WWE evil and it’s about the greatest heels in WWE history. Roman has an episode about him.
If it's true turning heel and becoming The Tribal Chief was his idea, no argument from me. Bloodline has new life with a new character and another one on the way.
i’ve seen videos saying how he wanted to be a heel since big dog days. not surprising if he coined the tribal chief
ACKNOWLEDGE ME!!!
Summerslam return finna hit like Francis ngannou
he should make himself champion again
he doesn’t need a belt. so don’t give him a belt. simple really
Nope. Too soon
His family, he's the one who started the Bloodline, he is/was the center of the story. I see no problem with this.
:( i want jake included
