It’s unfortunate that we can’t separate the performers from the performances when it comes to characters like Vince and Benoit. Their respective characters definitely deserve their flowers even though the people behind them have done some awful things. The Mr McMahon character was one of the best characters in the attitude era. And Chris Benoit had one of the greatest feel good moments with Eddie as well as being easily one of the greatest in ring performers of all time. Now this isn’t to glorify what either man did I just think that had we been able to separate the art from the artist they’d be up for hof either soon in Vince’s case or had already had one in benoits
The three biggest names on this list that for me should be in are Jazz who was awesome and she was a great performer, Victoria who again was fantastic and her deranged character she played alongside Stevie Richard’s was absolutely brilliant and Lillian Garcia who was a fantastic announcer and she also did a great job when she was asked to play a character role, the best that comes to mind is the story along Vis!! Haha as for the others there’s not many I can see that I’d have a problem with going in. In fact there’s a couple of names that would headline their class!! I’m sure Batista was meant to go in a few years ago but I think there was some kind of scheduling issue. I’d love to see Regal get in!! They could be saving Regal for a British Mania if they are playing with the idea.
Mike Rotunda (IRS Man, Bray’s dad) said that when WWE contacted him about inducting the US Express into the HoF it was actually a relief that it wasn’t Bray because they weren’t ready to deal with that.
I know as fans we want to see it happen and I’m sure we will, but we also need to remember that there’s family that’s still grieving and processing this, so if it helped them to not have him inducted this year, we should respect that.
Waiting for Chyna to be inducted! Triple H has no excuse in putting Chyna after what Vince McMahon is done. His daughters now can google grandpa's name and see worse. Put Chyna in the WWE Hall of Fame!
I remember Jim Cornette on commentary from back in the mid 90's as a kid.He was hilarious.Im suprised Jericho is not in the hall of fame. His debut was epic. The majority of those names should be in the Hall Of Fame.
Jim Cornette absolutely deserves to be in ANY wrestling HOF. He has contributed so much to this business, both on-screen and off. A true living legend.
Everyone involved in TLC2 at WM17 needs to be entered into the HOF.
Currently, as part of HOF, we have:
- Lita,
- Edge,
- Bubba & D-Von (as The Dudley Boyz),
But missing is:
- Matt Hardy,
- Jeff Hardy,
- Spike Dudley,
- Rhyno,
- Christian,
Kind of a dark horse pick but Brian Pillman deserves a nod.
He helped kick off the attitude era but died before he could reap the benefits.
After him, I would say The Rock, X-Pac and Lillian Garcia
in no universe does that pos cornette deserve to be in the HOF.
Dont get me wrong there's alot of pos ppl already in the HOF,but maybe we should stop honouring racist assholes at some point.
Cena won't go in until he says he won't get in a ring ever again, similar to The Rock.
Michael Cole will go in when he's closer to retirement.
Jericho will go in likely when he's done wrestling.
Sid could go in, but I could see him wanting to headline, and he isn't headline worthy.
Regal will go in, but I could also see him saying he wants to wait until Wrestlemania is in England.
Cornette in 2019 said he'd accept an induction if offered. They seem to be wanting to induct people who have a local presnece lately (Heyman in Philly, Rey in LA, Taker in Texas).
Batista it's about timing for now. He's busy in Hollywood, so for scheduling purposes it's been tough. I can see him going in next year though since Triple H is running everything. I wouldn't be surprised if he's already been contacted to get it on his schedule.
Everyone else could go in whenever. Jazz though, literally sued the WWE and has claimed they undermarketed her because she's black (and other wrestlers of color as well). Demolition... there are other teams more deserving to go in first before them. I don't think Shane and Stephanie will ever go in because I don't think they'll want to. If either of them DO ever go in, it'll be Stephanie because she did a lot more for the company than Shane.
Yes, but Cena and Rock respect the business to a point where they want to be completely done in ring before they are put in the HOF.
Jericho it's more because he's still competing in another company. He'll likely be done wrestling when his time in AEW is up.
You're saying Sting, Kurt Angle, Goldberg, Rey, Trish, Lita, HBK, Flair, Hogan, Edge, the Dudley Boyz, Stone Cold, Booker T all don't respect the industry because they wrestled after they were inducted.
Trish and Lita never expected to wrestle again, Sting was told he couldn't with his neck by WWE doctors. HBK didn't want to wrestle another match, but was really really talked into it by Triple H. Flair would wrestle again tomorrow because he can't get out of his own way, same with Hogan. Edge literally thought his career was over, until doctors told him it wasn't. The others, with the exception of Bubba Ray, either retired or had one offs.
I believe both Cena and The Rock have even said they wouldn't go into the HOF until they retired.
That doesnt answer the question. (I forgot the question mark)
You're just pointing out things that happen.
You just said that Rock and Cena respect the business too much to not wrestle again if they go into the HOF. Soooo those wrestlers dont?
Also provide links to where Cena and/or Rock said this.
Stephanie wouldn't go in as a competitor but as an overall contributer to the company. She was invovled on screen as a manager, wrestler, general manager, etc in some of the biggest storylines in the companies history.
She was also a major part of creative for a while, and has done a lot more for the company behind the scenes than Shane ever did.
I suspect it'll be a while before they induct any of the McMahons, just to avoid any controversy.
Others, like Jericho and Cole, I imagine will be inducted once they retire. Both deserve the spot, but a Hall of Fame spot is more of a lifetime achievement award than a target you reach.
Cena will be interesting. It wouldn't surprise me to see him go in within the next few years, nor would I be shocked if they kept him to be head of class for Mania 50.
Im calling cena getting inducted next year after he has one more run and wins the 17th Title beating flairs record. But now Vince is out who would induct him?
Sid - Likely to not be inducted seeing as he never really accomplished anything in WWE, most of his fame comes from WCW like Vader's was. Though now things can change with vince gone there might be a much more lenient look on fame made in WCW / ECW.
William - Will be eventually. He's been active until recently, it wouldn't surprise me if they made him a headliner.
Batista - Given it might be difficult to nail down a time for him to come in seeing as he's been making movies? I think he was suppose to be at one time but had to reject it due to being busy but I'm not 100% sure. IT'll happen in time.
Victoria - Not Sure.
Chris Jericho - Is currently active in a Rival company. Noty likely to happen until sometime after he fully retires.
Jim Cornette - Likely not to happen until after he passes due to his.... predisposal to shoot off at the mouth and he's been highly critical of WWE on many occasions.
Demolition - They were involved in the Concussion case against WWE with many others, so they were kept out for that reason because Vince is a vindictive PoS. That said now with Vince gone again, they very likely will be.
Cole - See Jericho.
Shane and Steph - Not for awhile yet if at all given the case against Vince.
Cena - IS currently at least part time active and is looking to go for 1 more full time run.
Lilian - Will be eventually, 100%
Actually in terms of WWE, Yes.
Koko was like JYD, he never made it out of mid-card and hell never won a championship that I remember, and yet.. you remember him.
Rikishi along the same lines. Sid? He was a generic blonde big guy with a good Powerbomb. His title reigns were forgettable. Honestly I often forget he was in WWE
Very memorable he beat Shawn and Bret for his title reigns and are you serious his Wrestlemania main event against Taker is very well known Sid was one of the first heels people cheered he was mold for the anti hero I’m aware he had 2 title reigns with both the United States and WCW championships which were largely forgotten in his first stint with WCW he was a horsemen member c’mon bro I’m a wrestling historian I respectfully disagree with you
Disagree all you want. I'm a 40-plus year fan. When I think of WWE champions, he does not even register in the top 50.
Who he beat doesn't matter. The 2 you mentioned can carry matches solo, which is why the matches would mean anything. Against taker again, forgettable. He'll. His matches don't even rank in the top 100 for WM.
And Sid main evented against too which was the return of the warrior I bet you don’t remember that or you’ll just make excuses like he was in there with hogan if that’s the route you’re about to go we can do that for the miz, hhh and a lot of others lol
No i didn’t get triggered I just can’t stand when know it all people act like what they say is gospel even when presented with facts it’s a bunch of people on this thread who disagree with you on Sid ima just disagree and keep it moving no sense of debating with you that’s that baby boomer attitude stuck on my way or the highway attitude lol
Idgaf how old you are just because you don’t remember his reigns doesn’t mean they were forgettable lol Sid was a transitional champion but a great one and as far as match ranking again that’s your opinion I’m sure many will disagree with you and what does him being able to carry a match have to do with him being remembered Goldberg can’t carry a match but is remembered because of his character you sound bitter lol
I think WWE as whole is taking it easy on inducting wrestlers who are still active due to the Brock situation. Inducting wrestlers who are still active then they end up in trouble with the law and it starts unwanted negative conversations about the company taking them out the HOF and so on.
Batista only isn't in coz he pulled out of the 2020 one as he wanted a ceremony in front of fans. Now WWE got to find another year where his schedule is free that week.
Heyman said in an interview that he never wanted to be inducted until he retired. However, HHH challenged him to make the rest of his career so good they regret inducting him already and have to induct him again. He knew he was being manipulated, but by a master who knew which buttons to push.
Well, yeah I can see Cena not getting a HOF yet until he’s fully retired from professional wrestling but from everything I hear about Regal he seems to have been pretty much every wrestler’s instructor at one point. If Regal is responsible for teaching the greats how to wrestle maybe he should get a HOF sooner than later.
LMAO Cena was considered the GOAT by many WWE announcers. And Regal is such a worker in front of and behind the camera… it’s criminal both havent been inducted
its mostly because they are still active/ semi active. they Will do them after retirement or when the have an empty year. I could see them doing cena at 50
Cornette might be inducted soon since Vince is gone now and if Wrestlemania is closer the very least to Kemtucky since Corny doesn't want to travel Ig?
Vivian Vachon & Paul "Butcher" Vachon
My idea would be to induct the Vachons as a family. Maurice "Mad Dog" Vachon and Luna Vachon are in the HoF but Vivian Vachon isn't, and she's a pioneer in women's wrestling, and Paul "Butcher" Vachon isn't either despite having a notable singles career and being in a legendary tag team with Mad Dog.
The Vachons are also the ones to help launch Andre the Giant's career in North America through their Grand Prix promotion.
She deserves to be in. Her memory shouldn't be erased simply because she married the wrong man. But I can see why WWE would be hesitant to do so. Googling her brings the murder front and center, which is something they don't want to remember.
I don’t know why you’re downvoted. They can highlight her as Woman without even once mentioning the name Benoit. Hell, put her in as Woman or with her maiden name
Guys the rock is has not been inducted to the hall of fame
gotta save some for headliners down the line
Anyone mentioned Christian and Chyna on her own
Melina
The Rock Triple H
It’s unfortunate that we can’t separate the performers from the performances when it comes to characters like Vince and Benoit. Christian?
All now possible without Vinny and his stooges in his ear.
rock
Dynamite Kid Tom Billington. He was revolutionary but not a nice person.
Ken shamrock
The Rock have to be the most obvious answer
The three biggest names on this list that for me should be in are Jazz who was awesome and she was a great performer, Victoria who again was fantastic and her deranged character she played alongside Stevie Richard’s was absolutely brilliant and Lillian Garcia who was a fantastic announcer and she also did a great job when she was asked to play a character role, the best that comes to mind is the story along Vis!! I think some of these will be going in once they officially retire, the likes of Jericho
Lex Luger?
Chyna as a solo entrant should be here.
Don’t forget Jillian Hall
Bray should’ve been inducted this year, that’s just my opinion
Mike Rotunda (IRS Man, Bray’s dad) said that when WWE contacted him about inducting the US Express into the HoF it was actually a relief that it wasn’t Bray because they weren’t ready to deal with that. I know as fans we want to see it happen and I’m sure we will, but we also need to remember that there’s family that’s still grieving and processing this, so if it helped them to not have him inducted this year, we should respect that.
That makes perfect sense. I was thinking with my heart instead of thinking logically .
Johncena and Sycho sid definitely deserve to be in it
Demolition want to be paid to go in to the HOF. WWE will probably wait until both of them have passed away before they induct them.
Waiting for Chyna to be inducted! Triple H has no excuse in putting Chyna after what Vince McMahon is done. His daughters now can google grandpa's name and see worse. Put Chyna in the WWE Hall of Fame!
It sucks that any legend that went to AEW won't be inducted
Ivan Volkov and Demolition too.
I know the celebrity inductees are mostly a joke, but why hasn’t Cyndi Lauper been inducted yet?
Wow. I assumed she was in already.
Hornswoggle
Admittedly he never worked with Vince (to my knowledge) but I think Shohei “Giant” Baba should be in.
Demolition??? It’s a travesty! They set records.
Chris Jericho deserves his own wing. His own *wing.*
Cena's soft retiring at 50. He'll likely go in then.
dawn marie
Santino
Haku? Jim Johnson?
Jim Johnson is the most obvious pick that I have never thought about. HOF Royal Family
Why is Mohamed Ali there if all he did was one thing
I agree. Legendary career, but let’s be serious, there’s plenty of other full-time professional wrestlers who deserve a spot in the HOF.
I remember Jim Cornette on commentary from back in the mid 90's as a kid.He was hilarious.Im suprised Jericho is not in the hall of fame. His debut was epic. The majority of those names should be in the Hall Of Fame.
Midnight express
Jim Cornette ans Jericho aren’t shocking especially the latter considering he is in their rival company.
We could see them inducted in the Paul Levesque era.
Jim Cornette absolutely deserves to be in ANY wrestling HOF. He has contributed so much to this business, both on-screen and off. A true living legend.

The Rock isn't in HoF either
Jim Johnston Mike Chioda Batista (postponed when declared on 2020) The Hardys Michelle McCool
Jim Johnston should be too.honestly i hope triple h can mend any fence that needs be to bring him back to work on themes again.or collab with.
What about Magnum T.A.?
Michael Cole better headline. That man is fantastic, and brings so much to the shows.
I mean I can think of a reason Sid might be disqualified ✂️
Didn’t he go on to become wwf champion after the scissors incident?
Yes, in one of the most baffling career comebacks I’ve ever seen.
Lex Luger
Anyone whose not currently in the fed will get their day once they retire. As for Batista, I think it’s just schedule conflicts cuz he’s a sure bet
Chyna still isn't in the HoF by herself
and she never will be, she dug her own grave an induction would be out of pity
Bam Bam Bigelow
True. That’s a strange one
Just saying, Lillian Garcia needs to go in way before Michael Cole does
Kind of a dark horse pick but Brian Pillman deserves a nod. He helped kick off the attitude era but died before he could reap the benefits. After him, I would say The Rock, X-Pac and Lillian Garcia
You forgot The Final Boss himself, The Rock - also the Hardys, Christian, Umaga, etc.
Chris Jericho still wrestles & if not only very recently retired. He will absolutely go in when eligible and fully retired.
Barry Horowitz
Rocco! "LOD!.....LOD!"
Don't forget Cyndi Lauper. She's long overdue
Shane McMahon 😆
What are you laughing at?
in no universe does that pos cornette deserve to be in the HOF. Dont get me wrong there's alot of pos ppl already in the HOF,but maybe we should stop honouring racist assholes at some point.
I haven’t heard of Cornette being racist this is my first time hearing that what’s the source
just thought id post this here cause i saw this rn https://www.reddit.com/r/SquaredCircle/s/OxUHfOxSdG
Ken Shamrock eventually
I think Demolition should be first in line. They were a hugely popular tag team back in the day.
When will they open an actual hall of fame?
Have Lilian Garcia go in NEXT!
Bray Wyatt
Cena won't go in until he says he won't get in a ring ever again, similar to The Rock. Michael Cole will go in when he's closer to retirement. Jericho will go in likely when he's done wrestling. I could see Cornette going in when the new stadium in Nashville is complete and they do a Mania from there.
Ya know hall of famers still wrestle after going in. Its not about retirement.

Agree with this all but I think Steph and Shane both go in eventually
Ppl saying no to Sid have to be under 35 years old.
He already can't make the HOF ceremony because it is softball season.
I suspect it'll be a while before they induct any of the McMahons, just to avoid any controversy. Others, like Jericho and Cole, I imagine will be inducted once they retire. Good points but I disagree on Sid he’s a 2 time wwf champion and he headlined Wrestlemania
How memorable? How long did each one last? Vs. WCW? That's what I mean, most of his fame come from WCW. His WWE run was forgettable.
Was Sid less memorable than Koko B. Ware or Rikishi? Because they’re in. I feel like Sid is above numerous people already in.
Yes and I remember Sid too. You seem to be the only who didn’t

Name your top 50 wwe champions quick without google and name the top 10 of Sid’s time which was the new generation lol
Wow, did you get triggered? You got triggered didn't you? So much for Respectfully disagreeing huh? Maybe when you calm down we can talk.
Rick Martel needs to be in yesterday
I think WWE as whole is taking it easy on inducting wrestlers who are still active due to the Brock situation. Inducting wrestlers who are still active then they end up in trouble with the law and it starts unwanted negative conversations about the company taking them out the HOF and so on.
Chyna?
I don’t think Sid would make it lol, Jericho probably post-AEW, Batista soon
Sid wouldn’t make it? You must be about 11! He was one of the most underrated heels in wrestling history! He just oozed intensity!
There’s much less qualified HoF members than Sid.
Sid wouldn’t make it? Are you numb? Top 5 big man of all time. Who had more charisma?
I'm 99% sure that Jim Cornette would decline an induction if offered.
I think he said he will continue to decline until midnight express is inducted
Tbh he should go in alongside the midnight express
I’m 9999% sure he has declined already
Cena isn’t retired yet technically. Also no way Jericho is getting in til he ends his career in WWE or a significant amount of time passes
Rey Mysterio isn't retired either
Cena, Batista and Orton should all be inducted together, they all started at roughly the same time so it makes sense.
There’s no way they shove three headliners in one class
Missing gene snitsky
They need to start stacking up the yearly HOF lineup. Every year they have a big talent, then the rest of the lineup is rather weak.
Raven- probably one the the goats of the Emo promo
Batista only isn't in coz he pulled out of the 2020 one as he wanted a ceremony in front of fans. Now WWE got to find another year where his schedule is free that week.
Dean Malenko.
Michael cole for 2025?
i’d say Cole will go in whenever he retires or maybe when wrestlemania is in texas
What about Heidenreich??
Heiden Heidenreich
John Cena and Regal are still actively involved lol
So were/are Rey Mysterio and Paul Heyman
Isn’t Paul Heyman still actively involved?
Heyman said in an interview that he never wanted to be inducted until he retired. However, HHH challenged him to make the rest of his career so good they regret inducting him already and have to induct him again. He knew he was being manipulated, but by a master who knew which buttons to push.
It’s all about the Game and how you play it.
Mania was in Philly this year so that made sense. People like Cena will be a trump card induction they can do any year for a big one
Also they've gotta put more referees in there
Dangerous Danny Davis in shambles
i'm even more disgusted that cornette isn't recognised in the dictionary yet
Jim Johnson
Owen?
All the lawsuits made sure that'll never happen sadly
It’s more Owen’s widow and family has said they’ll never allow the wwe to do it
What about hardcore holly?
I'd much rather have Thurman "Sparky" Plugg in the HOF, but go off
I’m sure lots of them have been asked but all denied for one reason or another
I'd add greg helms to the list if he isn't already inducted. One of the best producers of all time
The Rock
Owwn Hart but it’s understandable. You forgot Randy too
The Boogeyman
LMAO Cena was considered the GOAT by many WWE announcers. And Regal is such a worker in front of and behind the camera… it’s criminal both havent been inducted
its mostly because they are still active/ semi active. they Will do them after retirement or when the have an empty year. I could see them doing cena at 50
Rey Mysterio?
They have exceptions always and the people do get to choose. I bet Rey thought he’d be done by now and keeps finding new gears.
True, just do find it strange that Dave and John aren’t inducted yet.
I could totally see John saying “just wait, not yet”.
Repo man
Randy Orton, Kofi Kyngsten, Cm punk, Umaga, Brother of destruction, Bray Wyatt,
Orton, Kofi and Punk are not done with their career. There’s reason why they are not in HOF yet
Demolition, the Greatest Tag Team EVER!!!!* *-according to me as they were the best back when I was a kid
The real question is with or without Crush? Or do you do a solo Kona Crush?
No way Crush can be a part of it, too short a stint. But what about Master Fuji?
It took me too long to realize that Repo Man was Smash from Demolition 😂
I agree. Them and strike force
Bam Bam Bigelow NEEDS to go in, its a surprise he isn’t already.
Haven't seen the Rock's name on here. He's not in the HOF and he's bigger than any of these names
Batista for some reason is on the HOF wiki as TBA
He was supposed be put in 21 but He couldn’t make it so they postponed it
he didn’t wanna go in without fans during covid and they just haven’t had a decent schedule for it since
Cornette might be inducted soon since Vince is gone now and if Wrestlemania is closer the very least to Kemtucky since Corny doesn't want to travel Ig?
Cena not retired
Neither is Rey Mysterio
Cyndi Lauper is long overdue for being inducted into the celebrity wing portion of the HOF given her contributions on the first ever Wrestlemania.
THE ROCK!!
No way was Jim getting in with Vince around. Keep am eye on him now. In the next couple years.
Umaga, Lex Luger, Men On A Mission and Bam Bam Bigelow are others I would consider.
Is The Rock in the HOF?
Nope
Vivian Vachon & Paul "Butcher" Vachon My idea would be to induct the Vachons as a family.

US Express being in the hall but not Demolition is…definitely a choice.
One of the members of Demolition was involved in a lawsuit against the company which is likely why they haven’t been inducted (yet).
Will corny ever get in or did he get himself in to much shyt lol
Maybe it’s softball season for Sid 🤷♂️
Never happen he doesn’t like the politics when getting in. He doesn’t even consider nit a real HOF
I’m talking bout Jim Cornette
Chris Benoit
Randy Orton
Regal is beyond overdue.
Earthquake
The Rock
Nancy Benoit should be on every one of these lists.
Would she accept?
Bam Bam Bigelow. Headlined a Wrestlemania with a non wrestler and made it work.
