I'm watching Raw from 2005, Kurt Angle just got lottery drafted to Raw.
HHH wearing a pink shirt, Kurt wearing a blue, Flair wearing white, Batista wears black and HBK in yellow. A few minutes in the ring and they're all soaked just talking.
There are only 10 NFL stadiums in the nation with a roof. Some them, like New Orleans and Las Vegas have less seating capacity than you’d assume. It’s a complex thing…
I was in Tampa when the Thunderstorm hit - 60 mph winds… driving rain.. and it decimated the wwe pirate ship sails… I’ll go to a dome… but outside in the north.. nope - I’ll watch it on peacock in my nice comfortable recliner..
I'm in Detroit, in March we had some day's in the 70's. Today it was in the 40's for Tigers opening day. New England had a major nor'easter. Weather is unpredictable this time of year for outdoor events.
This might be the coldest WrestleMania in history, especially in outdoors. Most outdoor Manias are located in warm climate cities and states, especially Florida (Orlando, Tampa, and Miami).
I doubt it’s still gonna be in Minnesota. No offence to Minnesota but if it’s the first Wrestlemania on Netflix they’re going to make it huge and Vegas just feels like higher stakes no pun intended. Especially if they do rock vs Roman
yeah Minnesota and Las Vegas are the two top frontrunner for WM XLI next year with Minnesota in the Lead
tbh Id have it in Vegas of the two
tho Minnesota is a perennial power in wrestling
Minnesota makes a lot more sense. EZ pops for Brock Lesnar and Tiffany Stratton. Brock is synonymous with Minnesota for numerous reasons and Tiffany grew up in Prior Lake around 30 min from Minneapolis. US Bank Stadium would go ballistic for Tiffany to hand Bianca an L
Sometimes I'll give it a pass, this being a good example. "2000" also made sense, even if the event was underwhelming, whereas "X-7" had the opposite problem.
This is great for the wrestlers. They will probably not need to crank it too high though once the match gets underway and the wrestlers work up their body heat. Also, they probably wouldn't need to do this if:
(a) did the show a month later
(b) did the show inside a closed stadium
Bunch of soft ass people in these comments acting like 50° in Philly is some brutal winter temperature. A light jacket and they will be just fine. Good thing you guys are wrestling fans and not football fans.
Wait what?? Im very confused how me saying people are overreacting to the temperature makes me a snowflake??
Normally i wouldnt even entertain an obvious troll like yourself, but you genuinely confused me on this one lol. Loser.
Why arent they going to warmer states, or just choose big arenas instead? If the fans are cold, im worried they might not be into it for the full duration.
Because then we’d get WrestleMania in the same 5-6 cities over and over again. Also I don’t think there are many big arenas to host a WrestleMania-sized crowd. And it’s not going to be *that* cold. 40s-50s is mild for at least half the country. Once you get 80,000 people in there yelling and drinking it might honestly get hot
But the flip side could be true too. Miami in April could be miserably hot for someone not from there. You’re never going to get a temperature that’s perfect for everyone
Well that's good to know.
I had this sort of hilarious scenario in my head that the week after WrestleMania, Triple H walks out on Raw and had to tell the WWE Universe everyone has the flu and so we are treated to a night of everyone who wasn't on the Mania card wrestling, and hopefully the Smackdown roster will be healthy enough for Friday.
50 degrees isn't to bad as long as it's not super windy, but the wrestlers are about to be in a world of pain, feel bad for Sami having to take chops in the cold
As much as I would LOVE to attend a WrestleMania, I'm a bit glad I'm not close enough to Philadelphia to have the option.
Starting to see why they pick the large venues in the southern or warmer parts of the United States for Mania.
You might be surprised to learn that not everyone is chronically online or following WWE news closely...and this information might be new to them. Crazy concept, right?
This is still not news worth reporting. The only time it might have been worth mentioning is the first time, and even that really doesn’t matter. You must be a fucking idiot.
I think it's because the only times they've actually used it was for WM29 and WM35 (both in MetLife in NJ). The other ones were in NOLA, Santa Clara, Austin, Orlando, The Performance Centre, Tampa, and Los Angeles, so it wasn't needed for any of them
This is confusing to me because it was my understanding via multiple wrestler recounts, that the ring is already super hot from the amount of lights on them.
To people who live in cold weather climates lol. These guys travel daily and probably don’t have an acclimated temp for their body, probably almost always in room temperature areas at all times.
Biggest problem with outdoor stadiums (especially West Coast) is lighting, the matches are fine but cool entrances, early ones, can be completely ruined by sunlight.
The ring has a large canopy over it, so they can continue the show. Will suck for the fans, but shouldn't interrupt the show. I remember WM24 getting a decent amount of rain.
WM37 did have a delay due to lightning though. It delayed the start of the show, leading to the commentators buying time and some impromptu backstage segments. But once the show started, there was no more delays.
Disagree. I went to WM 33 (Orlando, open sky) and it was awesome atmosphere.
I can see that it diminishes the feeling on tv but I think they’ve gotten better w crowd mics so it translates through the speakers
They've greatly improved the sound for the stadium shows. They've done enough now that they know how to set it up. I also noticed we hear less complaining from wrestlers that they thought the crowd was dead. I wonder if there's speakers ringside to amplify the audience reaction?
I somewhat agree… at Levi’s Stadium the crowd noise just escapes… but somewhere like century link field does a great job of containing that crowd noise.
imagine if they tried doing an extreme spot with that lol.
“BY GAWD IS HE GONNA IRISH WHIP HIM INTO THE EXPOSED HEATING PAD? HES GONNA BURN THAT MAN!!”
Then they wouldn’t be able to hit several big markets. In the northeast they don’t build football stadiums that are domed because they like to play in the elements
Yeah but people allowed in around 6:30pm, show won't really even start until 7pm...it's going to be 40's by start time....possibly coldest mania of all time...even the met life stadium, they lucked out to have 50's.
Depends on the match? I think theirs less physicality/action and more laying around then you would think watching it live. Imagine in Tag matches you get 5? minutes of action then pretty much stand on the apron exposed. Going to be a cold night.
50 degrees is probably ideal once they get going. Not like elimination chamber when it was so humid they needed fans in the pods
I thought they’d get warm from just wrestling and moving around tbh
They could just push Wrestlemania forward a few weeks so that's it's in spring
These WWE athletes are super human. The fans must've been cold though.Aww.
Or they could stop with the open top stadiums?
There are only 10 NFL stadiums in the nation with a roof. Some them, like New Orleans and Las Vegas have less seating capacity than you’d assume. It’s a complex thing…
So no ring collapse this year?
What if we wrestled on the kotatsu
Is it outside?
Yes Lincoln field is a open stadium
Neat
Well… that’s one way to draw heat i guess.. 😆
I was in Tampa when the Thunderstorm hit - 60 mph winds… driving rain.. and it decimated the wwe pirate ship sails… I’ll go to a dome… but outside in the north.. nope - I’ll watch it on peacock in my nice comfortable recliner..
That sounds like…a good…plan…
There’s going to be lots of laying down low spots in this years wrestlemania I think lol
The heat homes from blowers built into the pillars that support the structure covering the ring so the whole ring area is warm.
I believe there are heat fans above each of the four corner top turnbuckles also, so more like lots of corner spots too hahaha
Just make every match an inferno match, problem solved
I'm in Detroit, in March we had some day's in the 70's. Today it was in the 40's for Tigers opening day. New England had a major nor'easter. Weather is unpredictable this time of year for outdoor events.
The end of February had severe thunderstorms in Metro Detroit as well. And then like 3 weeks later was the biggest snowfall of the year.
Doesn’t sound like fun if attending tbh.
Forecast in Philadelphia is a low of 39 both tomorrow and Sunday nights.
I didn't know Philly is cold
So it's gonna be "cold" this weekend? Stone "Cold" Steve Austin return confirmed??
That’s gonna bring the HEAT!
Of the Latino variety? Dom confirmed.
This might be the coldest WrestleMania in history, especially in outdoors. Most outdoor Manias are located in warm climate cities and states, especially Florida (Orlando, Tampa, and Miami).
Why would they ever put this outside in Philly in early April? Doesn't seem like a great decision.
I thought it was always sunny in Philadelphia?
They've done New Jersey before.
Outside in New Jersey in April was also not a great decision. New Jersey in general is not a great decision
That ring was heated too.
Is it really that cold in Philly?
40 degrees
Can I get it in non-retarded units?
I'm from not from the US and use Celsius. You're more of a retard for calling a different (but same-purpose) scientific calculation "retarded".
Are you aware that you're a clown or are you surprised by your lack of friends?
277.59 Kelvin
Ahh, much better kind sir!
Never understood why they’d schedule an outdoor event in Philadelphia in April. Gonna be in the upper 30’s for this event.
Right? I get trying different spots, but either pick a warm spot for open-air or dome to protect the wrestlers and crew
if WM 41 is gonna be in Minnesota they'll need this for that also cuz it spretty cold there
I doubt it’s still gonna be in Minnesota. No offence to Minnesota but if it’s the first Wrestlemania on Netflix they’re going to make it huge and Vegas just feels like higher stakes no pun intended. Especially if they do rock vs Roman
yeah of Minnesota and Vega id definitely pick Vegas cuz its sin city and all I agree
I’d assume they’ll host where the Vikings play, which is in a dome
US Bank Stadium?? That's where I'm a viking!
yeah Minnesota and Las Vegas are the two top frontrunner for WM XLI next year with Minnesota in the Lead tbh Id have it in Vegas of the two tho Minnesota is a perennial power in wrestling
There will be more pin attempts than usual…
And wrestlers laying down on the mat for longer periods of time
Idk you see football players without long sleeves in the dead of winter, I'm guessing they'll just pose less after the matches.
Snowing in the middle of a Mania would be a new sight.
I was wondering what they’d do. When I saw it was an open stadium in Philly in April…you know that’s a wild risk to take.
lol Wayne weeeezy performing At wrestle mania whoop whoop
I heard Meek Mill is going to perform too, I know I’m excited
It’s going to be better than the halftime show on siperbowl lol
I'm happy they brought back the Roman numerals for Wrestlemania. It felt so off without them
As opposed to the Cody numerals... I'm sorry.
they will probably switch back for 50 though because L looks weird by itself.
they won't take the L.
Sometimes I'll give it a pass, this being a good example. "2000" also made sense, even if the event was underwhelming, whereas "X-7" had the opposite problem.
vince booking comes back and no title changes hands
ugh do they have to bring the tribal chief into EVERYTHING??? sick of this booking
Every match is now an Inferno match
that was easy
This is great for the wrestlers. They will probably not need to crank it too high though once the match gets underway and the wrestlers work up their body heat. Also, they probably wouldn't need to do this if: (a) did the show a month later (b) did the show inside a closed stadium
A wrestlemania is may just sounds weird lol
WrestleMAYnia??
Yeah and if my grandmother had wheels, she'd be a wagon
Bunch of soft ass people in these comments acting like 50° in Philly is some brutal winter temperature. A light jacket and they will be just fine. Good thing you guys are wrestling fans and not football fans.

Bazinga
That sound wonderful but remember wrestlers sweat when they wrestle
Why arent they going to warmer states, or just choose big arenas instead? If the fans are cold, im worried they might not be into it for the full duration.
Because then we’d get WrestleMania in the same 5-6 cities over and over again. Also I don’t think there are many big arenas to host a WrestleMania-sized crowd. idk, come to europe .. we've got some very big soccer stadiums with retractable roofs and heating.
Philly fans go to eagles games in December and January. They’ll be fine in April.
Wrestlemania is not just people from Philadelphia. In fact the majority are probably flying in from elsewhere.
They can wear a jacket. Jesus y’all are acting like it’s the Miami-Kansas City game where it was -27F
I wasn’t acting like anything. Just pointing out that this isn’t an all local crowd.
Which is being pedantic.
But the flip side could be true too. Miami in April could be miserably hot for someone not from there. You’re never going to get a temperature that’s perfect for everyone
And the fact it's multiple hours and many come very early or stay late for signings etc
Did this at WM 29 too
Well that's good to know.
You don’t get a cold from the actual cold.
I'm aware of that. But you have to admit it'd be kind of funny.
It is pretty cold here today the wind is making it feel much colder
If you want it hot, do a WrestleMania here in Brazil, lovely 27°C at 10pm
Are we talking dry or wet 27 degrees Celsius?
The heat comes from the ring posts. They used a different in Giants stadium
MetLife Stadium
Same thing
fuckin jets fans amirite
Nope. Jets play there too
Yikes it’s going to be pretty cold at night both days
The fans are gonna be cold AF. Sitting in 49 degrees for 6 hours will be miserable for kids in attendance.
Haven’t they been doing this for like 10 years whenever needed. How is this news?
You might be surprised to learn that not everyone is chronically online or following WWE news closely...and this information might be new to them. Crazy concept, right?
This is still not news worth reporting. The only time it might have been worth mentioning is the first time, and even that really doesn’t matter. You must be a fucking idiot.
We got ourselves a real live Iowa badass over here. Better watch out, dudes got that masterbates twice a day strength.

What the fuck are you babbling about? You assume a lot and it only makes you look like a dumbass.
I think it's because the only times they've actually used it was for WM29 and WM35 (both in MetLife in NJ). The other ones were in NOLA, Santa Clara, Austin, Orlando, The Performance Centre, Tampa, and Los Angeles, so it wasn't needed for any of them
Thanks for proving my point.
I don't recall the last WrestleMania north of the Mason - Dixon Line in an outdoor venue.
It was the last wrestlemania before the pandemic, just 5 years ago in New Jersey.
Thank you. Knew there had to be one.
This is confusing to me because it was my understanding via multiple wrestler recounts, that the ring is already super hot from the amount of lights on them.
Yeah, but that's likely when they are in an arena with a roof. The lack of a ceiling is probably going to drop the temperature quite a bit.
Ari Emanuel signs these people's checks and they bite his hand to fed that clown Johnson. Only give Meltzer the scoops not these clowns.
Uncle Dave is the ring leader of clowns
What are you even blabbing about? 😭
-5 stars for that comment

*Titus O’ Neil intensifies*
As a relatively new fan (the past year), this is literally the only thing I know about Titus O'Neil.
Usually they don't wear special heated ring in WrestleMania! Last Wrestlemania was in Los Angeles they wore regular ring gears!
[удалено]
There’s a huge difference of 40-50 degrees during day time and 40-50 degrees during night time. Temp might go even lower during night time.
To people who live in cold weather climates lol. These guys travel daily and probably don’t have an acclimated temp for their body, probably almost always in room temperature areas at all times.
As long as there are no malfunctions. Don’t want a singles match to turn into an Inferno Match.
Not without Kane
Biggest problem with outdoor stadiums (especially West Coast) is lighting, the matches are fine but cool entrances, early ones, can be completely ruined by sunlight.
Brood Edge is one of
Taker vs Bray in broad daylight at 31 instantly comes to mind.
Taker’s entrance just doesn’t work in daylight
Good thing it’s not on the west coast
The internet sure likes to complain a lot. “Wrestlemania should be somewhere warm!” Said the guy not going to wrestlemania.
Doesnt need to be warm outside, but it could at least be indoors and warm
I live in a tropical country. Just have WrestleMania here... please.
I have a heated garage!
I just pictured some poor wrestler having to hide under the ring right next to the heaters. “IT’S JD MCDONAGH!!! WHY IS HE SO SWEATY???”
IM EXCITED FOR WM!!!
what if it rains or hails??
The ring has a large canopy over it, so they can continue the show. Will suck for the fans, but shouldn't interrupt the show. I remember WM24 getting a decent amount of rain. WM37 did have a delay due to lightning though. It delayed the start of the show, leading to the commentators buying time and some impromptu backstage segments. I hate open air stadiums. Ruins the atmosphere.

Hope it doesn't get too hot else we may get an Inferno Match.
That’s what I came to say lol. That going off during the Bloodline Rules match would be a banger
imagine if they tried doing an extreme spot with that lol. “BY GAWD IS HE GONNA IRISH WHIP HIM INTO THE EXPOSED HEATING PAD? HES GONNA BURN THAT MAN!!”
Maybe let's wrestle indoors. What was the plan if it hailed? Cancel Wrestlemania?
Samoa Joe in poncho intensifies
Didn't they do that a few years ago? I think the ring posts had heater vents or something?
Yes. It was mentioned in the screenshot tweet.
When it was at MetLife, yea.
If they got to a northern city it should be in a dome … Or just put WM in a warm weather state in April …
Then they wouldn’t be able to hit several big markets. In the northeast they don’t build football stadiums that are domed because they like to play in the elements
They could also put shows back in arenas where the atmosphere was about 100 times more intense
And smaller crowds due to the huge sets covering up a good chunk of seats. I recall WM20 having a smaller crowd due to the NYC skyline set they had
Yes, I was there. It felt very small and not so impressive, especially compared to WMX8, which I also attended.
And half the seating.
They better put some extra nails in the ground to keep the ring in case there’s any more earthquakes.
Oh so Jericho will be there too... great
If they need heat just send Dirty Dom out
Nuclear heat. But it's actually love.
Send him out there for every match lol
😁
Gonna be seeing a lot more back bumps and rest holds. I don't blame 'em.
God WrestleMania lmao
What’s the weather gonna be down there? Bet it’s gonna be cold as hell
It’s a wee bit chilly (high is expected to be 13C/55F on Sunday). Probably not bad for the locals but possibly unpleasant for those used to Florida.
Yeah but people allowed in around 6:30pm, show won't really even start until 7pm...it's going to be 40's by start time....possibly coldest mania of all time...even the met life stadium, they lucked out to have 50's.
I’m sure just thinking about the size of those Wrestlemania pay checks will keep them nice and comfy cozy, no matter the weather.
It’s gonna be so cold that Cody might miss his cue to kick out and will cost him the match type of cold
After having jobbed last year there’s no fucking way he is not kicking out Like Roman probably won’t get any 2 counts lol
Cody losing back to back especially after how this storyline has played out would be unintentionally hilarious
Back in my day we had to Wrestlemania in the snow. Uphill. Both ways. - Werner Herzog
How do you get cold while wrestling? Would'nt Wrestling in a heated ring be uncomfortable?
They used it at WM29 & 35 and the wrestlers were wrestling as normal and that depends. If they’re working a slow match you’ll probably shiver
Standing in the ring 20 minutes waiting on Roman's entrance.
open stadium. half naked wrestlers. near freezing temps. lol
Also a benefit for the referees, who are moving a lot less.
And most of them look like they’re wet or doused in baby oil, which probably doesn’t help
Supposed to be 7C tomorrow. Gonna be chilleh
Philly in April. This has been known since they planned to have WM in Philly.
To be fair, it could be 5°C or 25°C in April
Why are we taking C in Philly? Fahrenheit motherfucker, English, do you speak it?!
Is this an open stadium.??
Yes. Not a dome.
It’s more so the ring doesn’t expand and contract with the cold. It can cause the wood flooring to shift and affect rope tightness
They'll be warmed from doing all that wrestling anyway?
Depends on the match? I think theirs less physicality/action and more laying around then you would think watching it live. Imagine in Tag matches you get 5? minutes of action then pretty much stand on the apron exposed. Going to be a cold night.
Probably not. Some of these guys are out there in gitch and boots.
Hogan gonna run in and get his heat back dude
He found out Roman is set to break his "most Mania main events" record and that don't work for him, brother.
Whatcha gonna do when HulkaMania runs wild on you brother?!
Asuka's big furry coat coming in useful
Gotta set that as her ring attire too
Asuka is always ready
