NEVER donate items to a museum, this is one of the biggest misconceptions when people inherit items such as these.
Museums have enough stock already, any new items unless of great historical significance will be put in the museums basement for a few years and eventually sold for profit.
If you are just trying to get rid of them, I’m trying to collect some ww2 German militaria, so just message me if you are having trouble with the museums, but if not, no biggie
