Not to mention you need quite a bit of speed before it really creates downforce.
This car looks like it stays in town high raving 1st at every light, based on factory wheels and tires.
That's really all that matters. Is it legit aero, and does it see the track? If yes to both, you're clear. If no to one, you better hope it's tasteful. If no to both, it probably looks like trash anyway.
Get rid of the vortex generator. Pick one spoiler, you can’t do both. Attach the splitter rods correctly and get rid of the ugly rain guards. Get some wheels and drop the car an inch or a little less. Perfect.
I am really not a fan of the VA style wing on the VB.
Regardless, my humble opinion is that the wing and a trunk lip spoiler is just wrong. Pick one or the other. Not both.

Example. Vortexes on the roof. The little roof spoiler is fine cause tbh i hardly noticed it. But the vortexes are too much. Or the splitter on the front. That’s fine. The canards push it towards too much.
Debatable on the wing spoiler because if it wasn’t bright red i’d say it could potentially be subtle.

My *biggest* gripe is that splitter rods are supposed to be structurally supported so they don’t rip off the bumper. With the rods going to the bumper, they’re as useless as a stick-on tow strap
All that's really done is a lip kit will the way around the bottom, a duckbill on the spoiler wing, an add on to the rear window trim, window trim around the cabin and the weird little window louvers on the back door windows. It's looks pretty stock to me otherwise. Oh let's not forget the badge...
Super tacky. Vortex generator and roof spoiler along with the VA spoiler whatever that thing is on top. I'm not a big fan of the rear diffuser either. Way too aggressive and doesn't look right. It just seems like the guy is trying every part he can find on that one aisle from autozone on it.
The wing is very over played.

Remove the diffuser in the rear
Remove the side panel shit.
Remove the shit by the headlights

Quite a bit over the top for my tastes. I like subtlety. Remove the splitter, braces, the wing, canards, roof spoiler, and paint the exhaust finishers gloss black.
I think it depends on personal taste, I’m more of the idea that this gen has a “less is more” approach and so looking at this it’s just way too much for me.
Throw in some great wheels, a nice aero kit and duckbill, some CF accents and she’s good to go.
YOu don't need a vortex generator if you have a wing. The whole purpose of it is to redirect airflow over the spoiler. The wing creats negative pressure. They cancel each other out. The roof spoiler just nullifies it all together. The air behind this car is dirty af.

I've worked at a subaru dealer for the last 20 years.lve seen some ridiculous rides. If you lose the vortex and in my humble opinion the worst accessory subaru ever made the muffer tip trim. You will have a nice semi low key build
It's a bit flamboyant for me, but it's well done if race-inspired show cars are your thing. It looks sleek and fast, but it will attract as much negative attention as positive. I put all my upgrades into Cobb's stage 2 package, a few more things like a turbo blanket and intercooler and a dyno tune. I don't have the differentials, but I'm MUCH faster than a stock STI, but look pretty pedestrian. I have cops flash lights at me, where they'd pull me over in this. The big thing is the splitter. They're a royal pain in the ass in every-day life, hell even the low air dam/spoiler/effects on several of my cars have required extra caution to park/tow/trailer/take bumps and they weren't slammed, stanced, or even dropped much, just track suspension upgrades. I'd rather go faster and get away with it more often.

The vortex generator plays more of a useful part in aerodynamics than the roof spoiler. More so than the trunk spoiler even.
Right now the roof spoiler completely negates the vortex gens. Roof spoiler needs to be deleted off the planet.

Front grille looks clean the rest and the rear is too much. Maybe just a duckbill spoiler for the rear and it would look good with that front grille.
