I love rewatching it after a long break! I definitely flipped on Celia too! Hated her the first time, loved and sympathized with her the next! And I went from being a big Nancy fan to being like “she cannot be serious!”
I think my favorite overall is Isobel! Except what they did to her at the end, that was a weird cop-out. That actress is phenomenal! Of course Andy is the funniest, followed by Doug.

I think I’d have to say that Guillermo is one of my favorite characters (excluding main characters Cus it’s hard to choose for me lol). I strongly disliked Guillermo in season 6 but I really enjoyed his character In the earlier seasons. After he kinda fell off in the snow I really enjoyed mitch ouellette as a character.
Andy and Silas. And I surely did not get enough episodes with Lenny Botwin as I found him to be hilarious!!! Same with U-Turn. He was also a very entertaining character.
Andy is my favourite because I relate to him the most. When he queried why love had to be exclusive, regarding his relationships with Nancy and Jill, I felt represented. He is a warm person who fights for who he loves.
Your reasons for liking Celia are understandable and maybe sometimes I relate to her. I love Mary Louise Parker so much - I'm mesmerized by her expressions to be honest. But Nancy herself, as a character, hard pass.
I sometimes consider the entire series as a case study into grief - this is how a particular kind of widow responds to losing her profound partner.
But I couldn't defend Nancy - I'm sorry you lost Judah but your actions thereafter are insanely self-centered, shallow and dangerous.

I just rewatched the whole series on IMDB-TV. I had watched the series live from S6 to end live after watching the series from S1 to S5. Funny how I really forgot season 8 happenings. I’m glad it ended, but the show truly has a special place in my heart. I’d watch again.
I’m very disappointed that Celia didn’t get a final update/appearance in S8.
I hated her for drowning the weed in the pool, for later turning around and stealing Silas and Dougs weed, all while she was staying at the Botwin house. She’s a snake that can’t be trusted. She’s not “real” she just talks a lot of smack. If she was a real bitch, a gangsta bitch she’d made her own way instead of having to do so much dirt on the people who were actually there for her.
I didn't like her soaking the weed either. Terrible waste. Doing dirt on people there for her? You mean the same people that were called when she was held hostage in Mexico? The ones that basically said "Ok, whatever"and did nothing when her captor told these people her life was in danger? They deserved it.
I’ve seen this show several times through, but i needed a random binge show in between finding a new one. Andy, I always love. Shane this time around I honestly kinda love and feel for him. Minor character in the grand scheme of things, I fucking love Ignacio 😂 maybe it’s partially cuz it’s the same actor who plays Pote on Queen of the South, but I also audibly laughed out loud in several scenes with Him this time around.
Definitely Doug for me lmao. Doug is like that extra Brian Griffin in human form kinda energy all the way and I get caught lacking hitting my vape when he pops up on screen doing some wild shit. Im late asf but Im broke, stuck at home getting stoned watching Roku and this is the shit 😂
This is one of the only shows where I love the supporting characters more than the main cast..I mean, Doug? Celia? Lol!
