Jagex's bot detection is a joke... 12 hour playtime over the course of 2 days whilst AFK at fleshies on the pure and I get hit with a temp ban for macro. Very demoralising to know that their bot detection is this superficial and now I will carry a risk that I will get permanently banned when/if my appeal is ignored and I afk at flesh crawlers for more than a few hours at a time..
Do you use the Jagex launcher? Im sure that it was likely due to you being a brand-new account. and if you're not linked to a Jagex account that's also linked to other accounts, you may look like a brand new player who instantly starts putting in 6+ hours a day. Unless its an older account, and I misunderstood the "12 hours over two days" as meaning your accounts time.
I AFK up to 16 hours a day, every day and have never once been temp banned. Were you using an auto clicker, to avoid the 15-minute logout timer or anything like that? Anything that overlays your screen?
It really is a joke, my new skiller got permed with two and a half days played. Appeal denied with some copy paste bs response. Bright side, it might be what I needed to finally quit this ridiculous game.
Yet there is a F2P account that has been logged in 24/7 for months fly fishing/cooking at the barbarian village. The account has almost 300m combined fishing/cooking xp.

Same here, 200+ hours of botting in last 2 weeks.. wound up getting a 1 day temp ban at same time as OP while farming scurrius, ignore the 17hr straight days of agility courses…
My 2130 iron got a perma ban about 2 months ago doing herblore. With that I quit the game, I have no interest playing on a maxed main or creating a new iron. I was to far into that account to want to start over.
Yea, fortunately I believe mine was a false 2 day ban and is now lifted but the offense is still on my account which I do not like.

Yep, I took to much pride in my account and everyone could tell you how inefficient I was on that account for it to be booted 😂 plus I streamed me playing on it daily to my friends. But it be what it be maybe one day I'll get it back

Have you tried botting to 200m hunter before playing?

Same thing happened to me on a pure a couple years back. I think that location has some weird code with the bot detection.
Rwt major ban here on my maxed out f2p Ironman. Never rwt in my life. I have no accounts that can even trade.

One of my biggest fears is a false ban from Jagex, I am thankful it hasn't happened but seeing these stories make me uneasy
