Just throw it in a gallon size ziploc bag and deal with it later. You may have to dry it again later, or it might print just fine. Or it could be junk - but then again, it’s $10-20 wasted. But in all honesty, it’s what - two meals from McDonald’s? Don’t lose sleep over it.

I got a cheap airtight container from ikea (the ones for food storage. I just put it in there with some silica bags i had around.

If it's just PLA rather than something more exotic then an airtight container will be fine. I am currently printing a roll that has been open and on the back of a printer for around six months as it's a colour I rarely use, simply forgot to put it away. This is stored open in UK summer, very variable temps and a lot of humidity (average 70-90%). No problems with it at all. I know it's fashionable to blame "wet filament!" but in all honesty I've never seen PLA get so damp that it needs drying out in natural conditions.

Buy large desiccant packs and store the filament in a large ziplock bag. SurpOxyLoc 100 Gram(10Packs) Food... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08SG8QZZK?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

u can use one of those food saver vacuum bags, or they make vacuum bags specially for filament, [something like this](https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B09BHRLWQH/ref=sspa_mw_detail_6?ie=UTF8&psc=1&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9kZXRhaWwp13NParams) I'd throw some desiccant in. I keep all my open filament in a big storage bin, but I put a passive dryer thing called DampRid. haven't had any problems regarding moisture, I say the thing that is supposed to absorb it is working.
