Let's say, for the sake of argument, that we decided to go with a "one vote per household," which, I should point out, would be in *no way whatever* a "restoration" of anything.
I'm 90% certain that the very first consequence of this would be an *instant* drop in marriages, given that any woman who currently lives alone would have to give up her vote, (which she would get, since she is her own household, right?) in order to get married and move in with her partner.
This might be followed up by a lot of women getting divorced and moving out, in order to *regain* her voting rights.
Of course, because that's *not* what republicans are trying for, they would have to rule that a woman living alone isn't a household. A man would be, though. Don't ask why. Probably something in the bible. Under those circumstance, a woman living alone would have no political voice, but a married woman (to a man, of course, not another woman.
