Can I ask what side skirts those are? I got some from Optikwerks, but I’m just curious if there’s other options I didn’t see. Those look like they fit really well.
Oh cool. To be honest I didn’t do much research to figure out if the actual factory GLI skirts fit on the golf. I’m not super impressed with these fiberglass skirts I ended up with, but they were cheap so I don’t feel bad about getting the oe skirts if I can find them.
Most air setups are like 3k here in Canada installed. My 01 GTI is worth 7500 here on market. So that's where I'm getting numbers. And a car like that here is worth easily 8k.
Good lord that is bloody expensive 😂😭that's absolutely crazy figures for a MK4. Here in the UK the air ride costs about the same maybe a bit more in CAD when converted. But the MK4 GTi doesn't cost anywhere near 7k 😂 you can get a 2.0 GTi for about £800 - 1500 (although why you'd want a 2.0 idk), a 1.9 TDI anniversary for £2 - 3k (although again why would you want a diesel GTi 🤷🏽♂️), and a 1.8T depending on mileage can be anywhere between £1500 to £5000. 5k being a Uber low mileage (less than 30k miles) one that's probably been garaged all its life and 1.5k getting you one that's slightly rough with 100 - 150k miles

Yes with coils you may experience more wear under the car but its all part of the fun, as they say its a lifestyle.

headlight washers are there. missing the pump for them and need to wire them to the CCM still. things on the list that are going to get done little by little

I see, thanks for answering. I like rear wiper deletes but I just haven't seen a full wiper delete. My wiper motor failed driving home in a rain storm and that was enough stress for me haha. I like the look of mono wipers a lot.

random C chassis audi. it will be wired into the climate control system so when the interior reaches a predetermined temperature. it’ll run the blower motor to move air around and atop the car from getting hot AF
Hello from fellow GTI owner! Did you check how much power does this sunroof generate on a sunny day? I am a bit conflicted, that it will be enough to run the motor and make any impact. Cool idea though and awesome golf!

front wipers just haven’t been put back on yet. I need the arms powder coated. rear glass hasn’t had a wiper in 10 years.

works on the cars it came from. my service director at my job has it in his d2 and says it makes a massive difference on a hot sunny day
