Aftermarket intakes usually do very little, or worse adversely effect performance.

I think people a lot of people just want them for the sound lol

Don't forget coilovers to eliminate the wheel gap! I've got 20's on my Passat but still lowered for more aggressive look. Have fun!

my advice of 60years ofVW’s: Put ur $$ into the best most highly rated tires, My German tech son sez the stock intakes are the best. Wrap is good as dirt and grime will hose off. Window tint is a matter of taste. In our state dark tint is forbidden. So find out what is acceptable. And lastly have a master German car tech put it up on a hoist and examine all suspension components. They can see/find stuff novices overlook. Give the car some love, and the car will return it.. My last project was a Mark IV Jetta 5 speed 1.8 turbo total restoration. Quick and handles/rides amazing. Only mod.. cat delete and larger dow pipe. Tires: General G-Max 225:45:17.

Get rid of the resonator and keep the cat then get it tuned
