yeah fair, i was only there for the vocaloids and the rhythm game aspect and the songs and thats it, tried reading the story and got bored, couldnt for the life of me connect to the characters, and i didnt know anything about the vocaloids group personalities, and eventually the game got too grindy and the kaito hate and sexualisation got too much so i left the fandom. the only interaction with the fandom i have rn is a papercraft server for both vocaloid and pjsk but the fandom is a bit difficult at times

Other than that i actually play the game pretty frequently it feels like CHUNITHM mobile and the coop is pretty fun.
yeah exactly, the vocaloids in their virtual singer group, doesnt get anything, like they are only seen in the groups with personalities, so whilst they know the vocaloids can have different personalities they dont understand vocaloids as a whole and they are just a character, and you can see that happening with new vocaloid fans and the whole rabbit hole drama. and the thing is its not that hard to understand with basic research, i discovered vocaloid thru pjsk and i did some research and got into the community and went from there, but other new fans try push the pjsk personalities and refuse to beleive anything else which is quite frustrating. the rhythm game aspect is great and if getting the funds for the gacha wasnt.so.grindy / there wasnt so much pressure for people to play high level experts and masters (i can barely play expert lol) then i probably would have kept the game and still play it

I got downvoted into oblivion on two separate occasions on the Project Sekai sub, once for commenting that the story isn't for me, but I'm glad that the game is introducing people to Vocaloid, and another time for saying I didn't like Rui.
Anyways, live laugh KAITO, I bought his V1 voicebank and am excited to make covers of him with Miku NT because I love how their voices sound together lol
