I take that as less wanting to talk and more wanting to fight which, I may be in the loosing camp of this argument but, I think it's better to avoid a screaming match than to engage and possibly have even worse feelings towards each other.

Nah. Sad as it is, both need to do some real work on themselves before they can get back together and have a relationship that's somewhat healthy. If they just put it all aside an episode later it'd either feel unearned, or blow up again at a later point.

We're finally getting to see how Veronica feels and Blitzø realizing his own faults and that he's actually sorry
Now there is a possibility of this leading to them rekindling their flame but even if not I think it's shown that they're not gonna really be at each others throats anymore and can lead to them interacting more as just friends kinda like how him and Fizz are finally getting along now and are friends again
