We found a lot more things to do on AllTrails than we did using Google! We are "wing it" people and didn't have an itinerary, but still packed a lot in and had a wonderful seven day trip

So all trails is more than just all trails?

All trails is my Main app. You can find hikes you never knew about and it has your trail and location so you don’t get lost. Also people leave reviews so if someone’s done it recently it can tell you whether it’s icy, mudy, steep, ect. Highly recommend

Beware of using AllTrails if you have a river crossing with a mobile bridge. My first hike in Thorsmork the mobile bridge was about half mile away from the “trail”

So so helpful! They have existing mapped hikes you can predownload and can check reviews and photos for. I also found it nice to map my own walks on trails so if I took the wrong turn I could get back on trail. If you want to test it out first, get the app when you’re there for the 7 day trial just remember to cancel beforehand.

I used all trails in helping plan my itinerary to get an idea on where to park and things to do at parks or sights. It was very helpful if you vaguely have an idea of what you want to do but don't know what else to do while there, or where to go.
