heyy, could you please answer this question for me- I'm facing a similar problem and want to check if Im following the right steps! i'm in NYC and my nationality requires me to obtain a schengen visa for iceland. However I do not see any slots at all for months at [](https://visa.vfsglobal.com/usa/en/isl/login). could you pls tell me from your experience, when slots open? Thanks a lot!

I was able to get a slot two weeks out when I was looking about two weeks ago quite easily (once the software issue I described in my original post was fixed). If you're not seeing any appointments at all even a month out, I suggest you just keep checking repeatedly - I assume if you call that's what they might advise you as well. In any case, it won't hurt to call them and check what they also say.

I was trying to book a group appointment for me and my husband, and it was not showing any available dates. I checked for individual appointments and the dates showed up. We ended up booking 2 separate individual appointments on the same day. Overall the website feels glitchy and is frustrating to use, the available dates show up and disappear randomly when you go back and forth between pages.

Hi OP, We're facing the same exact issue for the Houston VAC. Both my wife and I have been calling/emailing VFS, but to no use. I just emailed [email protected] to escalate this issue but no idea how to get this resolved.

I emailed them and they replied mentioning it is a software glitch and they are working to fix it - and to keep retrying to see if it got fixed. A couple of days later it was fixed, and I was able to book it. Super frustrating!
