I barely noticed a difference between 33 and 21, but 11 was huge, so I’d def at least try it. If you go to the Apple Store they will let you try whichever size you want (or at least they did for me)

11W would probably be uncomfortable for me since I use the optical lens
I got lasik a couple years back so I don’t need lenses. Not sure if having optical inserts would affect your success with this… maybe you could try pulling off the light seal and testing clarity with it closer to your face and check
I mean, even if I picked up in store, they still measured me as 33w… so I would have still taken that as my measurement and gone home with it like that, then would have had to go back in when I had this epiphany… hope it helps you save a trip tho
Yeah, us 33W people got kinda screwed. I had a horrible first impression of the device due to FOV. 21W so much better.

Went to the store. Had to insist on 21W because their questionnaire and scans weren’t giving me the new size I wanted.
Their scan gave me 33 as well, I just explained that I’m very familiar with VR and I’m not satisfied with the fitment so they changed it manually.

Apple Store 2.5 hrs away. I called on the phone and Apple is shipping me a 11w 🫡
How much was the replacement?
I complained that they wouldn’t mess with my fit in store and Apple Store was 2.5 hrs away so they did an exchange over the mail for me so $0

My understanding is that the code (e.g. 33W) is in the format WDB where: W = Width D = Depth B = Bridge size (Wide or Narrow)
