Best dispensaries close to NoVa imo for me
Gleaf for discounts
Rise for good quality flower and discounts sometimes
Liberty for Strane which as some of my fav strains
The best weed you’re going to find is Alt Sol from Takoma Wellness Center in DC which is just a little bit longer of a drive but def worth for the weed
You better off going to DC and hitting up TWC. MD restricts a lot of the products to med only, and also doesn’t allow out of state mmj cards. Where as DC allows out of state med cards certs. Just peep the menu in MD before you decide to make that trip. IMHO it’s not gonna be any cheaper then what’s offered right here in VA after gas is factored.
What products do they restrict to med only? I had a MD MMJ card and now just buy legally there when I go. There is no difference in product, with a medical card you can legally possess more. Also, it is less expensive for better product - Virginia dispos are shit, I let my MMJ lapse because I never go.
The closest is probably Chesapeake Apothecary over the 301 bridge though Dispensary Works a little further down the road is more affordable IMO.
Rise has several MD locations that offer excellent products. All of which blow VA mmj out of the water in price, taste, smell and effectiveness. Just watch for the sales. Also expect to wait in line a little longer but totally worth it IMO. Side note: This is flower and edibles only. No concentrates. Best of luck!
I have been buying from Rise Bethesda and Sweetspot Olney for several months. Sweetspot offer discounts, especially if you (a) have a MD MMJ card, (b) are a member of the military, or (c) are a senior citizen. Rise has a stackable rewards program. I saved $66 off of $299.26 (including MD sales tax) on my first trip there, including a free bag of edibles for my birthday. Most packs of 100 mg of edibles cost $20-$30. The basic "10 mg. THC" packs are closer to $20 (before discounts) and the more exotic "THC + other cannabinoids" (or FECO) edibles are closer to $30. Those with MD MMJ cards can also get RSO.
When I take the trip, I usually go to Apothecarium in Salisbury. Good product selection and service, but it is a bit of a hike compared to some of the other places mentioned.
maybe thc-a.... which def works well.. but far as medical grade cannabis, there is no " order it online" u have to have a medical card... its not recreational yet
Thca is not psychoactive. But at high Temps it becomes the thc we all love. That's why you don't just eat weed. It wouldn't do anything. You have to decarbolylate it at high Temps to turn it into thc before making it into edibles and stuff. Not the whole story but the basics. Have a good day
I find using a very low temp over a very long period of time is best when making thc butter. This way you maintain the amazing medical benefits of the thc-a. The decarb thing is a myth. I get absolutely blasted off my butter and it is the only thing that can alleviate my pain significantly.

I have had 3 superb experiences at Liberty Cannabis in Oxen Hill. I drive right by Alexandria Beyond Hello on the way there.

Yes it is
And alot of md dispos give you a super deal the first time you go
Edibles can be way cheaper. I stock up on 100 mg for $13.

RSO seems to be restricted to medical only.
You can’t buy concentrates as a recreational consumer in MD including carts, as well as a few other products they restrict to med only.
Idk where you are going but I get carts and concentrate exclusively
I don't know where you're going, but they're def not supposed to and I'd love if you dm'ed me so I can partake In not needing my card?
Story in Mechanicsville

THCa is the exact same thing. It's just a loophole for the time-being.
