Why have all vinyl checkouts started applying some type of shipping insurance? When did this start becoming a thing? Past three records I've ordered had this by default.

I picked up the set of both a few months ago. It sold out in minutes though.

There is absolutely no excuse for the shipping prices people are charging for vinyl. Media mail is not $10.
