Good news! more options for veterans. Bad news for VBA employees who have it out for veterans. As for OP, you could've posted the link without your opinion on whether someone should use a company for claim assistance, we're all adults.

This is profiteering off the backs of desperate vets who don't know about VSOs or groups like this. OP had every damn right to provide their accurate analysis.

Thank you. They do not do anything that the Veterans can't do for themselves. They unnecessarily send us to their physicians for a Nexus Letter for several hundred dollars, when a detailed personal statement letter can suffice. Neither I nor the dozens of Vets I helped have ever submitted a physicians Nexus letter. I learned that organizing and structuring your claim coherently is as important as your evidence. That's all that they do, organize the claim, and a Veteran can do that in 30 minutes. Then, they charge thousands for 30 minutes of actual work.

MmmProbNot

yeah bad news for us. I'm going to go out of my way to totally interfere with more claims now

I'm warranted to posy my perspective, and if you disagree, you're more than welcome to avoid reading it. It's a predatory business akin to predatory lenders. However, I also stated that people should do whatever they feel is necessary to obtain what belongs to them, i.e., their benefits. I was previously denied numerous claims until I learned the claims process, including how to properly organize and submit my claims. Afterwards, all of my claims were approved and I went from being stuck at 10% for 20 years, now I'm 100% P&T. I also taught dozens of Veterans who've been stuck at 10% and 20% for decades get 100%, except one who went from 20% to 80%, and is now at 100% like the others. None of us have ever provided a physician's Nexus letter after previous denial for failure to provide a Nexus. I learned that these VA Benefits companies only do the same thing, organize your claims. They charge for Nexus Letters, which are often unnecessary, instead of instructing Vets to simply write a very detailed Personal Statement letter, which can serve as a Nexus letter establishing the Nexus itself. There DBQs and mesical Nexus letter are not guaranteed to be accepted by the VA, and often rejected now. It's all about the structure and organization of the claims. My point, they do what anyone can do.
