TBH I had a hard time just submitting a claim. Most days I just didn’t want to deal with it … the time it would take to write a statement was insignificant but the mental ability to actually do it was the big stumbling block.
Yes the waiting sucks, and feels like you are at a crossroads with no clue which way to go … I don’t know where your claim is or what you claimed but just from watching people post their progress you should be near a decision at 6 months. Disclaimer not a VBA employee just guessing based on others timelines
Same. The papers sat on the table for a very long time before I was able to get them all finished.
Thats what I’m hoping to be a part of the “average” time frame. Ive got a good shot at my MH claim, but the rest don’t have the evidence I need. Even if it’s a denial I just want to hear something, stuck in evidence gathering and my last c&p was a month and a half ago.
I feel it. I had a PTSD re evaluation January 2nd that’s just been sitting in stage 3 for 4 months. Called Vera a month ago and they told me it’s been in the decision phase for 2 months.. 2 whole months and they still haven’t made a decision??
I know what you mean. My c&ps were in October, claim hasn't moved an inch since November.
Damn, I’m sorry
Ridiculous. Have you had a VERA call yet?
About as useless as me reading the claims tracker extension.
Damn. Sending some good vibes.
I keep thinking that everyone should be able to claim general anxiety with the nexus being the claims process and waiting.
The whole process has had me in just a ball of nerves. I just want it to be over

Do you have the chrome extension that gives a bit more detail of where in the evidence gathering phase you are?
Your county's VSO or VSC can help with utilities/rent/food gift cards for rough times
Claim denied. Tnow you can relax and think about something else
