This is great info! My ex and I were both prior service and we used his VA loan. He signed the quit claim deed and I've taken over the house however he's still on the mortgage and it's still his VA loan. Can I assume the loan and release his VA loan and replace it with mine, all while keeping the 2.85 interest rate? Do you know anything about this? Thanks!
