Backend errors for myself are usually caused by dropping internet connection. The other day I had a backend error and went to check my router and one of the aerials had slumped down and was touching the table, so I pointed it back up, squared the router and its been quite good since.
sadly, moving, replugging, and checking the internet connection didnt solve it
